so ive been thinking about this au ive wanted to make inspired by the incredible pogd au by @beluvbug for a while !!

this is a very self indulgent au based on pinkie dealing with the conflict of wanting to be taken seriously while also playing themselves down constantly as a way to please others, especially when it come to their identity as nonbinary and their disabilities

i was going to make the first post about this au a little comic but ironically the disabilities have made that a bit hard and i wanted to post something for it

Xavier... is kind of mean?

You realize this a bit late, embarrassingly, but he does it in such a way you don't seem to notice until you replay the conversation back in your mind.

Sometimes it's just normal enough to pass off— something you wouldn't really think back to... But when you do, it's like a condescending pat on your cheek, and you can almost hear his voice in your head.

"I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just explaining why I'm right." He'd say, gently cupping your cheek and wiping at the dirt with his thumb, "I just don't want you to get hurt rushing into things like a child..."

Undermining you, softly. With care.

"Are you sure you'll be able to go alone?"

"Yes," you scoff, "It's not like I need you to babysit me on every mission.. I can handle this just fine."

Xavier pretends to think for a bit, pursing his lips, and you prepare yourself once again to decline his offer as your mission partner — but to your surprise he just relents.

"Mm..okay."

The way he says it makes you suspicious, like he's planning something, but when he sees your narrowed vision glue onto him, he just sends you an innocent smile. He almost looks too giddy, but you end up shrugging off your paranoia to focus on your assigned mission.

So you get to the designated area, only for the wanderers to be a bit too strong, a bit too advanced. If there weren't so many of them, you'd be able to clear the area quickly, but it's taking awhile, and you're starting to get tired— so you bite your tongue and dial for backup. You can only hope it's anyone else but him, maybe Tara? Even Andrew—

When Xavier does eventually arrive, using his evol and dispersing of the few remaining wanderes on site, he doesn't say anything to you— not even an, 'I told you so'— because he doesn't need to. His expression already speaks volumes.

You can already tell by the upturn of his lips, the soft crinkle of his eyes as he looks at you... But he says nothing, and all that comes out of his mouth is a soft,

"Those were tough, huh?" yes. But clearly not for him.

You rustle, feeling the need to defend your pride, "I got rid of most of them!.. Jus' got tired is all."

Xavier looks at you, and he just let's out a soft hum at your words, clearly unimpressed, but overjoyed at the fact that it's only a matter of time before he becomes your official partner.

If it's not a subtle attack on your abilities at combat (you're better than he is, you think, where you strike he dodges), then it's a jab at your intelligence.

"You're so clever. I'm surprised you didn't figure that out sooner." Xavier says, a soft smile gracing his features, full of affection— the sight of it renders your entire brain useless, and the only thing you can really remember from what he said is, 'you're so clever'.

It's frustrating, because it's not like he's really trying to mince his words — it's your brain doing it for you. Remembering his 'praises' instead of what they really were.

You're sure he knows this too, because everytime you see him— he seems a bit more collected: smug in a way only certain people are able to tell. In a way only you're able to see.

It gets on your nerves, prickles at your skin like any annoying itch— especially when he wears a look of innocence on his face, his eyes scanning your form and looking at the slight frown on your face, the furrow of your brows. He tilts his head to the side and asks, full of amusement,

"Wake up on the wrong side of bed?"

I also think some tiny (big) part of Xavier just likes seeing you a bit irritated at him.

this is a long one I’ve been dying to talk about. strap in

(entire series + movie spoilers btw in case that wasn’t obvious)

he’s on a permanent blacklist from her punk bar, she’s ordered her bodyguards/security team to escort him away (with force if necessary) on sight, and if she EVER runs into him it’d be with a gun in her hand. she knows his name, his previous occupation, his diagnosis, and where he lives, through Jesse.

she typically stays away from the crystal trade altogether though because of a deal she’d made with Gustavo to stay in their own trade’s lane at all times, but Walter is her exception. she’s heard from Jesse how Walter treats him and she despises it (even more so when she learns he was blackmailed into partnering with Walter and he doesn’t even get treated like a partner). she’s a lot like Gustavo in the way that she absolutely hates working around unpredictable people she has a hard time controlling, and Walter’s recklessness and overall idiocy when it comes to how the business works gets to her. she doesn’t feel like Jesse, nor any of Walter’s other associates, are safe in his presence. she’s highly supportive of Jesse’s little field trips with Mike & Gus because of this, as well as Jesse’s sobriety, because she believes a clear head means less leverage for Walter (and just because sobriety is a good thing for Jesse in general).

she likely wouldn’t meet him in the main story save for a couple passing glances (& probably a scene where he tries to show up at her bar to get Jesse & gets absolutely BODIED by her guards while she watches), or maybe a scene where Walter calls her just another ‘distraction’ for Jesse (which Jesse vehemently denies and says they’re ‘just friends’— which is only a partial lie), or hell maybe she tracks him down and kicks his ass for some reason when Gustavo dies. but she would absolutely NEVER work with him. ever. unless it came to saving Jesse (which could be interesting to explore at some point,,,,).

if Walter didn’t die the way he did in the finale, however, she 1000% would’ve murked him in El Camino on her & Jesse’s little revenge tour. probably in order to see if he’s got any leftover cash they can use for the vacuum guy, but that’s really just a thinly veiled excuse for her to finally kill him with her own hands. luckily that car gun of his got to him first.

but then again, where she draws the line, though, is family. she would never touch any of Walter’s family because that’s definitely against her own moral code, and would go as far as to provide for them financially in secret if she ever did actually kill off Walter. heavy on the punk rock morals— fuck the system, help those in need. especially those who have been kicked down and hurt before.

🌠 my first jjk fic! for the longest time, I kept hoping someone else would write something about this chapter because it was driving me absolutely crazy (he went. to africa. in person!! to ask for help. the Strongest asked for help. and then yuuta's "you're important to people who are important to me." and the way he was trying to comfort/reassure yuuji after the complete shitshow that was shibuya. it's all just sooo). eventually I wound up with enough free time and a well-rested brain to do it myself, and the rest (as they say) is history

perchance to dream rated T, completed, goyuu -> goyuu get in the habit of sleeping together (non-sexually). follows canon from the basement arc to gojo's unboxing

YEAH YEAH i think back then he might not have had like. the right terminology for it (there’s very much a sense of ‘i may not know how to phrase what i am yet but i am more than all and all is mine to put between my teeth and i know what i must do to achieve it and i will achieve it’ like. learning & dissecting the system of people and already in his very young years being sort of a leader figure for the other children there, seeing sally & dravo discard a wrench that isn’t useful and then essentially bullying a kid into suicide because to him, that’s the same thing. people are nothing but a tool in his hand or something to be crushed by it—but they’re all in his hands in the end) but like… to me there’s that one moment in his very early childhood that people jokingly like to describe as ‘gaining consciousness’, him perhaps looking the world high on a hill and reaching out and closing his fist, knowing that his function is to wrap his hands around the world, reshape it after his design…. he wants it all! and it’s not a matter of if but when he will have it. it’s a machine’s conquest.
