I'm not a competitive player, but I did my best to balance this fakemon fairly and not make it too broken. Feel free to give feedback if you have any thoughts!

I have a huge bias for Bug Pokemon since they're my favorite type, and at first I wanted to make it Bug/Ice, since any intervebrate could be tossed into the 'Bug' typing. But ultimately I decided to keep xeeble's original idea of Ice/Fairy. There's precedent of food-themed pokemon being Fairy type, and Ice/Fairy would be very interesting due to its rarity (only Alolan Ninetails has it). Its type weaknesses are also slightly easier to handle than Bug/Ice imo

The signature move is indeed based on real love darts, I could not resist something that fascinating being made into a Pokemon move, even if the real games may possibly shy away from the idea. (Honestly it could be argued "Love Dart" is based on Cupid's arrow so Gamefreak might actually get away with making a move like this though.) Its effectiveness on both males and females is a nod to snails/slugs being biological hermaphrodites. I can see this move also being learned by Gastrodon and Magcargo in Scarlet/Violet

Aeri - Daughter of Puck and Nyx. Ah yes, the classic child OC.

Ok but imagine how happy Keirran would be, having another friend, who still lives and is closer to his age. Sure he has Ethan but imagine a Fey friend. And yes he has Puck but like,,, cmon a mini Puck who is even more chaotic, wouldnt that be fun?

Also Puck being a dad,,, kewk, sure a funny uncle for Keirran, but a dad? I think he would do great but still be super chaotic.

And now Lea can babysit Keirran and Aeri! And have two Pucks running around at her mansion! The chaos.

I need to figure out her clothes but she for sure has:

windows 11, forced move to linux

// it's weird to think about how i previously considered myself ambivalent to technology - any phone was the same as any other phone, computers were just tools, and having more capabilities in one device seemed much more convenient than not. my current computer has been upgraded to windows 11 for about a year now - on top of the fact that windows 10 was out the door at the end of 2025, the upgrade was free so why not? intro to - absolutely no storage left on my laptop, constant update interruptions, weird "news" notifications, and a bunch of new apps I had no way to remove to make more storage room. i was pretty disappointed, i previously was able to use my laptop to play games but now there was no space for that. i dealt with it, mostly because there was no way to go back to windows 10 and i wasn't really aware of other options. it wasn't until the first "windows recall" update that my computer completely fizzled on performance. i was heavily considering buying a new laptop but this one held so much sentimentality for me - i got it just before covid as a gift, and it saw me through some of the darkest times of my life. every dent and scratch, every program, file, was all a labor of love and proof of time spent together. it was really hard to part with it. intro to linuxmint - i wouldn't try to sell anybody on moving to linux. it wasn't complicated or hard, but it was unfamiliar which might be close enough to the same thing to discourage many people. i originally was going to go for ubuntu, but got the recommendation from someone online (the best recommendations, you know) that mint might be more lightweight on old machines. my computer is virtually transformed - i honestly was shocked when i first opened it up to see how much space i had again. it was really surprising to understand in hard number just how much space the windows 11 operating system was taking up. there's been a definite learning curve, but i couldn't be more pleased. i've only encountered two "significant" issues - one was a weird lag developing the longer i used the computer, solved completely by changing something called the "swappiness" levels, and the other a software i wanted not being available, solved by the fact that it was and i was looking in the wrong place. i've found the community to be pretty helpful, i've had 0 issues that someone else hasn't encountered, and there are plenty of videos, forums, and individual contributing blogs to cover virtually any possible user experience or issue. really different from the hard-locked microsoft forums, so i've been pleasantly surprised. my computer feels new, like it has a new life. i don't think i'm exaggerated in feeling like i could get another five years out of it - and i'm super grateful to the community members making it possible.
