something something, in an alternate universe, a natalie scatorccio who made it out of the wilderness and decided to make her mission helping other young girls to cope with the trauma she went through rather than turning to substances. this leads us into the year 2016, where she meets a young, hurt, and traumatized trinity santos that she takes under her wing, basically becoming a more stable mother figure. we THEN get to a universe where trinity offhandedly mentions how her mom is a sharpshooter and has mentioned she’d kill anyone who breaks her heart and garcia is scared SHITLESS of this woman.

if anyone is interested i WILL keep posting shit for this au because i just love trinity and nat sm. would love to meet more the pitt and yellowjackets lovers 🥹

I don't think they'll do it because they're actively killing off interesting characters to afford A-listers who appear in 2 episodes but with all this talk of parallel realities it would be SO so so cool to see an alternative future episode in yellowjackets. what their lives would have been in 2021 if the plane had never crashed. get claire danes, robin tunney and marisol nichols in here as adult laura lee, jackie and mari. show us what would've happened to shauna if she hadn't forced herself to live the life she thinks jackie would have had. show us the ways it would've been different and the ways it would've been better and the ways it would've been WORSE.

Thinking about the yellowjackets and who they kept in contact with and how.

Shauna and Tai meeting up like they're having an affair; using burner phones and meeting at a predetermined location without telling their spouses. Shauna and Nat having Misty's number on their main phones so they know not to answer. Lottie being the only one to have Travis's new identity and number before he died, to be invited to his house, linked by their continued search for that darkness inside them. Tai being the only one to not only keep contact but keep supporting Nat, feeling that she owes it to her.

My thoughts - For an unfinished fic with only four chapters, a lot is covered. It's so much fun to watch Natasha and Jason interact. Jason is pretty sure she's his next teacher sent by Talia. Natasha has no idea what's going on but she's along for the ride. If I remember correctly, she figures out who he is and starts playing mind games with that knowledge. It's delightful :)

There's also some implied WinterWidow in the background. Bucky is around but not a huge deal. Nat texts him some but that's about it.

I would actually sell my soul for this to be completed, but as it stands, it's still absolutely delightful and I've reread it several times :)
