I've been meaning to draw them for a while now, Neil/Andrew forever!!

I finished the trilogy in winter and really want to read the next books, especially Sunshine Court, which focuses on one of my favorite characters, Jean. He's a sweetheart and deserves better. I can't wait to buy the book and start reading it! :3

I hate my brain because one moment i'm washing the dishes and the next imagining a fic where after living togheter with Neil, in the apartment that they rent togheter. Andrew has gotten used to Neil always washing his morning coffee mug after getting back from practice, except one day he just doesnt come back, for one reason or another.

Like listen it would be such a tiny detail. Like the whole fic would probably be about idk, Ichirou thinking he no longer needs that investment and getting rid of Neil beacuse the fbi are starting to sniff around again and its just easier this way.

So its just their usual calm morning, Neil going on a run, Andrew making breakfast and them going to practice. Ofc as always Neil leaves his cup unwashed.

Towards the end of their practice Andrew gets distracted by an exy strategie conversation and doesnt notice Neil disapearing. All fine, not that unusual, hes probably just already in the locker rooms.

Except he isnt there. Eh its fine, Andrew took a while to get out of that convo, Neil is probably by the car already or talking to a coach or sumthn.

Except no one has seen him since the practice ended. Andrew speeddials Neil and finds all of his stuff, including Neils bag and phone as he left them, in his locker before they got on court.

It's a long day of talking to the cops, watching tapes and having to realise that... that Neil is gone. Not kidnapped, not run away, no. He's gone. And yes there is a better word for it but Andrew just can't say it.

He finally gets home, trying to ignore every reminder of Neil, every little thing, like the keychain he got him so they could match, the stupid welcome doormat with paws on it and then theres that stupid coffee mug that Neil never washed after having his morning cup.
