I think there’s some kinda tragic irony in the fact I’m studying biology and my two favourite characters are both some level of endangered. Like, deep down I know if their populations drop again I’m not going to be able to save them my little teenager tryna get a bachelors degree self but I’m still holding out hope.

Haven’t talked about this au at all

Anywa y. Wizard if they never left the dark cacao kingdom. The difference between this au and my main au is that in the main au, Wizard left the kingdom and didn’t get their shit rocked by a snow leopard, and in this au he did 🤯. He was found by Carrow and ended up staying in the castle for like months . They spent most of their time in the library and ended up memorizing most half the books (nerd). Eventually he became the kingdom’s unofficial official archivist and librarian. Because of this she kinda goes on trips and stuff where important events will most likely occur, like the republic, to document it. That’s where she met Gingerbrave for a second time. He still uses magic but it’s more to back up fighting with a sword. They’ve learned a few things from Crunchy Chip (who they spend a surprising amount of time with). He has like 5 cats and one of them is a snow leopard lawl. Anyway you have to believe me when I say Chip and Wizar are siblings.

Snow leopards actually have the largest tails of all felines, to help on balance on mountains and highlands. The tails can be as large as their own bodies.

OMG I finally found the tumblr for the game! Gah I am already so in love with it.

Also I'm gonna be a nerd for a minute. I saw that snow tiger vs leopard ask, and I automatically went into animal nerd mode. Snow tiger is actually more correct then people realize. The IRL snow 'leopard' is actually much more related to tigers then leopards. It's like how we have the clouded leopard that's a smol little cat that just has a similar look which are themselves in a cousin group to the big boi cats that's isn't the one that has housecats in it.

Hallo!!! I am back, with the doodle!

I'm not used to drawing fem people, but I am trying! I also added some stuff that in my mind is technically more realistic, but that's just because I am a nerd with figuring out hybrid biology! (Ears join lower, where our humans ears are)

LICORICE - He's a boy stormy dragon and my blog's mascot! He's extremely adventurous and very curious about the world around him!

CHERRY - She's a girl pink poodle and my first ever Webkinz. She's missing an eye and has a few injuries but she's a tough little gal! She loves everything in pink, obviously, and is quite the girly girl.

OREO - A girl black and white cat who sees the world in black and white. She's quite fussy and a bit much at times, but her friends love her all the same! Another of the few childhood Webkinz I could afford to hold onto.

SNOWBALL - A girl Persian cat. The last of my childhood Webkinz, sadly :( While you might think Snowball would be a refined and sophisticated young lady, she's quite the opposite! Always rough and tumble and looking to get up to something.

CASSANDRA - Notably, a girl lioness. She's named after one of my OCs, like many of my Webkinz, and is therefore really just the Webkinz version of her. A little sadistic, a little aloof, she's really got it all. She's also in a relationship with Exe and Kieran! (See below, or something)

ETHAN - A boy googles. Lil' 'Kinz, to be exact. Also named after my OC. He's aspiring to be a doctor, though a bit difficult now that every illness has been cured in Webkinz World, and is a huge nerd for aliens! He's dating Tanner (see below)

DAHLIA - A girl rabbit, another OC named Webkinz, and this time she's trans! While Dahlia might be a bit cocky when you first meet her, deep down she's a very sweet girl and despite having a loving family and girlfriend sometimes still feels very lonely after a very rough life. She's dating Marcie (see below)

MARCIE - A girl hippo, this time named after my dear friend's OC, another trans gal! Marcie loves ballet and everything pink, and while sometimes she worries she's not "girly" enough to get to like those things she always has Dahlia to remind her she's allowed to live however she pleases. She's also quite the artist!

KIERAN - A boy reindeer, once again named after a friend's OC. A bit of a masochist, a bit of a mystery. He isn't very sociable but he does enjoy the company of his partners, Cassandra and Exe (see above and below)

EXE - A boy opossum, once again an OC named Webkinz, this one mine! Exe is short for Executioner! A sadomasochist and absolute wife guy, he'd do pretty much anything for Cassandra. While he does enjoy Kieran being around, he really could care less if he was gone.

BILLY - A boy leopard, finally we're out of the OC named Webkinz hole... For now... Billy wears pants because he is very fashionable, he's also a drama queen, and likes guys. That last one isn't very important though, because he can't find a boyfriend anyways.

WREN - A girl lamb, this little gal is named after my girlfriend, because she's also cute and lovable :) Just an absolutely sweetheart who wants the best for the people she cares about.

POPSICLE - A boy icy mist leopard, named by my lovely girlfriend. He's quite the old soul and is always looking to give people a little of his wisdom, even if they aren't looking for it. He loves cuddling up in a nice fluffy blanket and sitting in front of a nice warm fire at night.

ROSALINE - A girl Siamese cat. Rosaline is quite the fancy little creature, she likes only the finest furniture, foods, and clothes will not settle for less. Her taste in art is immaculate and she does happen to adore Marcie's works.

JUDAS - A boy Himalayan cat. A messy little guy, Judas has quite the bad habit of leaving chaos everywhere he goes. He loves the cold and is always excited when it snows, especially when it's deep enough to make snowmen and snow angels!

RUTH - A girl duck, named after my main OC's own pet duck! Ruth is an absolute sweetheart who's always there to lend to hand to those who need it. She's quite the welcoming person and will always try to make your day a little better!

ELIJAH - A boy endangered cougar, named after my girlfriend's main OC. He's a big fan of parties, staying out late, and getting wasted, though the others prefer that he Not. He always believes life should be lived the fullest and by god is he going to live.

BINX - A boy signature penguin, named by my girlfriend. He's a very strict and stern individual, though he thinks he has to be to set a good example for his little brother, Bongo (see below)

BONGO - A boy penguin. He's Binx's little brother and a bit of a nerd at that. He loves to have his beak in a book reading about any and everything he can!

MIPSY - A girl clover cat. She loves nature, the color green, and having lots and lots of money! Gardening isn't cheap or easy, after all, and by golly does she love to garden! This little gal has quite the green thumb and is very proud of it.

SNUGGLES - A boy whimsy dragon, named by my friend. As a whimsy dragon, Snuggles is quite the whimsical little guy. He loves stained glass everything, sweet treats, and flying through the clouds! You might even see him trying to make friends with the birds, though that never really works out for him.

PENNY - A girl black cat. Penny is a lover of sweaters, Halloween, and warm hugs! She absolutely loves pumpkin pie and is always itching to get dressed up in fun little costumes!

MARSHALL - A boy midnight monster. Marshall is a softie, sure, but that's only because he's a hardened veteran who's seen the horrors of war and wishes to only instill kindness onto this world ever since. He's a righteous man who does his best to do the right thing, even when it's difficult.

CERBERUS - A boy black poodle, named by my friend. Another diva, really, and he's not afraid to walk around with his nose in the air to prove it. He's always got to hop on the hottest new trend and the moment it's over he's sure to let you know that what you're wearing is sooo last Thursday.

PRISCILLA - A girl golden pegasus. Priscilla is quite soft spoken and easily blends into the background if you aren't looking for her, despite her eye catching appearance. She doesn't like being the center of attention, and she'll absolutely cry if you try to make her it.

BURTON - A boy gorilla. Burton is another old soul, though maybe this time he really is old. No one's certain, since gorillas don't exactly show their age, especially when they're stuffed! He prefers being by himself, though sometimes the company of others is nice... Only when he wants it, though.

TRANSVAAL - A boy lion, named by my friend. A bit of a dope, Transvaal means no harm to anyone, and really without someone there to get him his food, he's pretty much a vegetarian since it's easier than getting meat... Most of the time.

DANTE - A boy black stallion. Dante is a racer, and he will win every time, even if he has to cheat or use underhanded tricks to get the gold. To him, second place is just first loser. It's either first or nothing.

RICCO - A boy raccoon, named by my girlfriend. A little trash panda, and Ricco lives by that name. Lazy as he can be and quite the little heathen who'll dig through trash any day of the week. At least he washes himself quite often as he hates smelling like garbage more than smelling it.

TANNER - A boy velvet elephant, named after an OC once more. Tanner is a massive nerd for fitness and looking tough and loves to show off how strong he is. He's also a massive softie for his sweet little nerdy boyfriend, Ethan, and would do anything to protect him. Dahlia is his beloved cousin who he helped raise. Try not to think about their family tree.

Things I like:

Birds. I would consider them my "special interest." I have been obsessed with them for years and years. I have chickens, muscovies, and pigeons. I show pigeons. My favorite birds are large ground birds like peacocks and pheasants, also pigeons. Also i like birds with cool feet, like coots and sula nebouxii.

Art. I love drawing, painting, making perlers, writing, sewing, and crafting. I do not like crotchet and knitting is okay. I use my art to express my emotions and tell about who I am.

Fallout. Its a cool game, it has music I like and gameplay is fun. I love writing stories, drawing and making ocs with my friends about the fandom.

OSC. I love object shows. I like most of the "popular" ones, besides one. I did not really like one mostly cuz it was scary.

Furry Fandom. Despite my parents saying I cant use the term "furry" I still consider myself s staunch one. I love drawing and making anthropomorphic characters. I also make fur suits and love wearing paws, tails, and ears.

Cosplay. Along with fur suits, i make non-furry costumes. I love going to cons dressed up and hanging out with nerds and being silly. I mostly have made fallout cosplays, like my secuitron and t-60 helmet.

Planes. I love plane spotting, and going to plane museums. I also am a fan of the logistics of planes. My favorites are the Concorde and 747. I like commercial aircraft a lot more than military.

Barcodes. I am fascinated by barcode symbology. The science behind creating these 1d and 2d data structures is incredible fascinating to me. My favorite symbology is the PDF417

Animals. I love all animals, not just birds. I especially like bugs and fish. Some of my favorite non-avian animals include gar, trout, crickets, millipedes, hyenas, snow leopards, snakes, isopods, catfish, flounder and halibut, gharials, sharks, and eels. I also like prehistoric animals. My favorite is marrella splendens

Geography and Cultures. I love maps and flags. I also collect flags and can stare at maps forever. I memorized all the country flags. I also love countryballs. I also love learning about different cultures. Also learning about different religions is cool too! Personally, im a christian (the nice kind who actually loves thy neighbor) but I find the differences and similarities in religions fascinating. ALSOOOOO Im sorta getting into Ancient Rome but if you come and want to blabber about some war i will actually explode i strongly dislike war based history.

My friends. My best friend is @noomycatz. We met back in like 2022 in December. We have been friends ever since. We got to meet each other irl in the summer of 2024. That was the best day of my life. She means so much to me, and without her I may not even be around anymore.

Activities: Tennis, Biking, Kayaking, walks, bird watching, photography, animal husbandry, fishing from time to time.

Law could feel her presence before she even made herself known, her excited energy filling the room as the pitter-patter of her shoes and the barely concealed giggles came closer to his turned back. He didn’t bother trying to focus on his notes at this point, already captivated by her cheerful disposition, but inquisitive of the reasoning of it, looking behind his shoulder to try and catch a glimpse of whatever had made his lover so joyful.  

Meeting his gaze was her figure, holding a plain paper bag against her body, contents hidden from his curious eyes. By the time she reached his side, he had fully turned in her direction, arms already reaching for her form to rest between them, hands caressing the softness of her back, pulling towards his lap - a routine for moments like those. 

For all the years they been together, he had learned all her quirks just a much she learned all of his, and how she adored going into shopping sprees from time to time, find little trinkets no one would bother looking twice, like little treasures that made her gleeful to share between the two of them, inside jokes or things that reminded her of him. 

It had caught him by surprise the first time she did so, never in his adult life had someone thought of him enough to match gifts to his tastes, and just for the sake of gifting, to see his happy and grateful expression. He had blushed and sputtered a thank you, and treated that little trinket like the most precious gem he ever owned, still keeping it close to his physical form, a little snow leopard made of marble, stored in his pockets to be thumbed like a worrying stone, whenever he felt anxious or irritated, subconsciously needing a reminder of her comfort and affections.

Now he sits back, his loved one between his arms and lap, chest to her back and chin in her shoulder, more used to moments like those, but never less delighted to be lucky enough to share it with her. Soft smile playing on his lips, as he kisses the column of her neck, breathy laughing when she tries to stop him for a moment, voice slight whine from his antics. “No no, pay attention, love! I found so many things this time, that pawn shop was like a treasure chest full of gems for the cheapest prices. Oh! And one big reveal, but I will save it for last!” 

And how could he not want to devour her whole, with this adorable display of rosy cheeks and eyes twinkling with excitement? But out of respect and curiosity, he could settle to have his eyes on the package and his hands firmly around her torso, busying himself in palming her thighs like a squishy toy - for now, at least. “So… What did you get this time?”

Happily squeaking, she went on the list of animal printed trinkets, books and comics of different subjects, museum worth medical paraphernalia - for aesthetic keeping, but more importantly, collectible coins she knew he didn’t have the time to look for yet, overjoyed to see the glim in his eyes as he took all the gifts and souvenirs. Already examining the new addition to his hoard of coins, taking his time to explain the importance of this one in particular and the story behind it, rare dimples forming on his cheeks from smiling so much.

If one had to say, those moments were one when both looked most endearing, childlike wonder shining through adult exterior, shared interests and affection, safely holding onto their most prized treasure: each other.

….so your gonna hate me and I am so so So sorry for this but the zookeeper intern in me can’t let this go….in your Whumptober fic No. 28 Altprompt- Venom…you said the tiger purred loudly…tigers are one of the few feline species that physically cannot purr like at all due to a piece of cartilage that runs from their hyoid bones to their skull.

Tigers 🐅 do something called Chuffing to express happiness and contentment. Other big cats like lions, leopards, and jaguars also cannot purr but the Snow Leopard the closest genetic relative of the tiger can purr. Cheetahs can’t roar and can purr but normally they hardly sounds like cats at all as they chirp and bark. Typically the rule is if it roars it can't purr, and if it purrs it can't roar.

Also the audio clips of lions roaring before the beginning of movies as well as in most movies and tv shows is fake, it’s dubbed over with a tiger roar. And the famous eagle cry in westerns and other cinema is also dubbed with a hawk cry…eagles chirp too 😂…no I didn’t have many friends growing up and yes I understand why-I was that nerd who’d rather read books about animals at lunch and recess than socialize and play. I apologize this is who I am.😅😓
