i hate people who mischaracterize boa, she is not a pedophile or a groomer for liking luffy. it’s a trauma response due to how she was treated almost her whole life, she was a slave and men treated her like an object so she developed a fear of them, then she met luffy who literally didn’t care about how she looks or her past, it was the first time a man treated her like a real person and she felt safe. this is why i think her love for him is pure and she has no bad intentions towards him. she just wanted to be treated normally by men and luffy showed her what it was like. it’s normal for her to hate all men after how they treated her ever since she was a child
