Hi all! I wanted to officially introduce myself. I’m Periwinkle or Peri for short.

My love for Disney dates back to when I was young and one day I stumbled upon a website called VMK. I absolutely loved this site and looked forward to playing every day after I came home from school. When it was announced that it’d be shutting down, I was heartbroken. This was a place where I had made so many friends, was able to escape from the real world, and enjoy the parks virtually.

Once it closed I would occasionally search it’s name up to see if any remakes had come around. One day I found OpenVMK and then MyVMK. While I was never part of the staff team on either of these remakes, I did play on them all the time. It’s where I met some of my best friends.

Back in October I was approached and asked to join a new project called Netcot. (As I’m sure almost everyone has heard of by now.) I joined as Gelatoni, but have since changed to Periwinkle.

I’m so extremely excited for this project and these lovely people I’m working with. They have become some of my close friends.

Here’s to the future! I can’t wait to show everyone what we have been working on and bring Netcot to you!

Seeking JS Developers

NETCOT (https://www.netcot.center/welcome) is a fan-made recreation of the beloved Disney MMORPG, Virtual Magic Kingdom (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Magic_Kingdom) commonly referred to as VMK. 

We are a small, fun-loving, family oriented, and volunteer based community in search of qualified individuals willing to aid us in our Developer department. These individuals will be tasked with coding elements of the game as well as back-end staff features in the following languages:  Node.JS, Typescript, Pixi.JS, PHP 8, Laravel, HTML, SASS, Yarn, and React.
