So I know I was only supposed to rewrite some already existing characters and update them a bunch, but I accidentally made a new guy somehow in the midst of all that. It's a complete shock who could've seen this coming

Anyways his name is Caelus :] he's in a band but I'm not sure what style of music exactly. He's a redhead, he's got blue eyes, he's cute, and he doesn't look like he should be as freak as he is. And while the band thing is his main gig, there's also some More Bad Stuff happening on the side. He also might have been the one who saved Vesper's life by replacing his highly damaged arm years ago but Vesper doesn't remember that and thinks it was Caelus who hurt him :^) but that's all up in the air and is subject to change

as is tradition, i will be holding my fifth annual pride101 giveaway contest!!!! and its the eighth annual pride101!!!!! wtf that's so long!!!!!!!

the prizes:

each week, I'll be selecting someone from the wizard101/pirate101 community to receive a free pride themed drawing of one of their wizards/pirates for the month of june! it'll probably be head shots more than full body shots, but i might do one or two (ya boy is a full time scientist rn!!)

(About requests and some new changes to Camellia’s design, I bolded the main points)

Just a heads up, that I am closing requests, but will be finishing up the ones I have already been sent, thank you for sending me requests! It was a very nice refresher to change it up for a bit. I know I haven’t really posted a lot of requests, but I have a LOT more to draw- I’ve been kinda unmotivated lately, but I’m slowly getting back into it now.

I do want to say that I am not doing requests for personal oc’s. I apologize for not saying this sooner. 🙏

(Yes I do also have this in my blog’s bio, but I will be deleting that shortly.)

I do have upcoming projects for- I think you can guess, but I don’t really want to spoil much cause usually when I do I end up scrapping the idea after I hyped some people up for nothing which I hate when I do that ughrhegdn-sorry :(

But yea the main reason why I wanted to take a break from drawing Cami- and Dreamberry is one- was running out of ideas for them, and two, I was giving Camellia a slight make-over. Nothing big just proportional adjustments(HEHASKNEEECAPSNOW OMGGMGMFHHFH), color adjustments(I’ve been all over the place with the colors, and I wouldn’t consinder this drawing to be his new color palette- I gave this piece more of a pink hue- but I do want his green’s to be warmer and a little bit lighter/softer), and the biggest difference, his pupils and eyes!

I feel like his little flower pupils clashed with the design a lot since it didn’t really match with any other part of his design, these ones match a lot better now, but I still really like the flower pupils so I made it to where when he gets really excited he just go:

I also made his eye color darker, made it the same color as his scarf so you could actually see the pupils instead of having to outline it

🚨 NEW OC ALERT 🚨

so, i've finally got everything planned out for my new tfa oc! i've posted a bit about him, but here's his completed story. also, i'm working on drawing him, so expect art of this boy in the next couple of days!

oc rambling under the cut:

subwoofer (he/him) is an elite guard member alongside jazz and sentinel, but he wasn't always this way. before the war, subwoofer was the lead vocalist and guitarist for the rock band "no rest till iacon" and savored his life in the limelight.

ever since he was a sparkling, subwoofer had a deep love of music. he enjoyed sneaking out to concerts and staying up late, listening to whatever he could find. once he was old enough, he began modding himself to fit the rockstar he viewed himself as, giving himself more punkish, animalistic mods. once he had the shanix, he crafted his own electrobass, and his future as a musician was sealed.

joining up with likeminded friends, subwoofer became the lead vocalist (and eventually guitarist) for the rock band no rest till iacon. the band quickly rose to popularity, and subwoofer loved every moment of it. yes, the groupies were fun, the money was a bonus, and the fame was fantastic, but his favorite part was being able to evoke the same emotions in others that his favorite songs brought to him. joy, sadness, love, excitement - everything he sang, he poured his love into.

these good times wouldn't last forever, though. when the war came to cybertron, subwoofer and his fellow band members were drafted, leading to the band dissolving. they promised each other that once the war was over, though, they'd start playing again.

without music to pour himself into, subwoofer threw his efforts into training. he quickly rose the ranks due to his diligence and fast learning and eventually joined the elite guard. there, he would meet jazz, someone he instantly recognized as a kindred spirit. the two quickly became friendly rivals, pitting themselves against each other in training. this friendly relationship would escalate, leading to them developing a secret relationship away from ultra magnus' prying eyes.

but war leaves no room for joy, and subwoofer would find that out upon receiving news that wavelength, his bassist, had been offlined in battle. soon after that came subsonic, his drummer, was dead, then harmony, his second guitarist. one by one, his band members were picked off until subwoofer was the only one left.

traumatized by the deaths of his best friends and band members, subwoofer sank into a deep depression. everything in his life fell to the wayside. his career, his relationship with jazz, but especially his love of music. he swore to hang up his guitar and never touch music again since he could no longer play with his band members. jazz stayed by subwoofer's side throughout all of it, though a part of subwoofer wished that jazz would find someone more deserving of his love.

when the war ended, subwoofer remained in the elite guard. at some point, they were sent on a mission to a distant planet on rumors that the allspark had been located. when subwoofer came to earth, he initially didn't care much for it. he just wanted to go back home. however, things changed one sleepless night. unable to get any recharge, subwoofer lay awake, only to hear the sounds of a concert off in the distance. once he was certain the other guard members were asleep, he snuck out in his alt mode to watch, the way he would as a sparkling. the memories flooding back to him began to rekindle something in his spark. maybe earth could be a second chance, a fresh start. he'd never be able to play in no rest till iacon again, but... maybe he could restart his music career here.

now, he's conflicted. on the one hand, the elite guard is his life now, and even if he could do without certain bots in his life, he would be devastated to leave jazz behind after everything jazz has done for him. on the other, he can't deny that music is his calling. it'll always be there for him, waiting for the day that he picks up his guitar and plays once again.
