Hello Tumblr, Aspen here. Apparently I haven't posted much (or at all) on our account, but that may change as we're attempting to set up a fronting schedule rather than just having people pop in randomly during the day.

I've been fronting a lot today due to Kori "not feeling peopley," and took it upon myself to learn about cryptography. So far I've learned that asymmetric encryption is complicated.

Oh, the equations the examples used are straightforward enough. Easy to read at least. But even a "simple" example of how to apply them results in a massive number that standard calculators refuse to crunch. There was, I kid you not, exponentiation to the 323rd power in one of them. And that's barely a fraction of the number actual encryption algorithms could impose on a file.

Now I see why people put such stock in encryption. Without technological help, a human (or team thereof) could never crack even a simple string like "hi"

Heya, people on my dash. I have a question.

Is there a free and course i can take if i want to get into game developing, backend developing and machine learning? Preferably not a video or audio one. I tried reading headfirst programming but i haven't had success understanding ANYTHING and i'm not even sure that's up to date. Something like "programming for dummies", you know?

If you guys know any free courses, pirated or free books, or apoen blogs i'd really appreciate it. Have a great day!!

I think the biggest grievance I have with severance season 2 was they still gave reghabi absolutely nothing and I think this goes along with the no black writers criticism quite well because you have this morally grey genius neurosurgeon who is also an older black woman so of course she literally just turns up to help the protagonist out of nowhere acts mysterious and then disappears again. We know nothing about why she turned against Lumon how she developed the reintegration technique how she managed to get in touch with Petey/convince him to reintegrate. It's a mystery show and we don't need all the answers straight away but even just some interiority for her would have been nice what are her beliefs is she feeling anything after the murder she committed how about after accidentally killing a patient does she have a family where has she been living all this time if she's on the run what's her history with Cobel just a crumb please

All bakeries in Gaza have been forced to close down due to Israel’s blockade on food and essentials.  Abdel Nasser al-Ajrami, the head of Gaza’s bakery owners’ association, announced on Tuesday that bakeries had shut as a result of lack of fuel and flour.  “The World Food Programme [WFP] informed us today that flour had run out in its warehouses,” Ajrami said.  “Bakeries will no longer operate until the [Israeli] occupation opens the crossings and allows the necessary supplies to enter.” The WFP supports the running of 18 bakeries in the enclave. Their closures will worsen a starvation and malnutrition crisis that has devastated Gaza’s two million residents.

Under legislation by the Congress since 1990, the United States must cut off funding to UN agencies that give full membership to a Palestinian state.

"Antony Blinken said we have to oppose Palestinian statehood or else the World Food Programme budget will be cut and people will starve around the world."

Section 414 of US Public Law 101-246, passed in 1990, states that "No funds authorized to be appropriated from this act or any other Act shall be available for the United Nations or any specialized agency thereof which accords the Palestine Liberation Organization the same standing as member states."

World Food Programme

Since May 19, the Israeli authorities have refused to allow the World Food Programme to deliver wheat flour and other food supplies directly to families. We have worked tirelessly to obtain permission to resume direct distribution to families, as we believe this is the right and safest way to support families in Gaza.

As a result of these efforts and after receiving approval, flour distribution to families is scheduled to resume soon, including in the northern governorates.

We call on the community to unite and work together to support the calm and orderly delivery and distribution of food to all Palestinian families across Gaza.

We recognize how difficult this period is for you and how much families need urgent food. WFP will not change its commitment to Palestinian families, but to distribute these vital supplies, you must be able to reach all people safely and unhindered.

Recent attacks on aid trucks, warehouses, and humanitarian service providers have placed humanitarian operations and, most importantly, the community at extreme risk

Theft, chaos, and violence toward humanitarian aid convoys will deprive widows, children, people with disabilities, and the elderly of the food they desperately need. They will also make aid deliveries and distributions more difficult.

The World Food Programme has done everything possible to bring in food assistance and resume direct support to families. Without strong community cooperation, WFP will not be able to carry out distributions in a safe and dignified manner. WFP is counting on you
