3. “You’re too old to go trick-or-treating.” Hank Anderson/Male reader??? (thats right, im back)

Authors note: ALRIGHT YO i know halloween has passed BUT i still love this prompt SO ima do it!!!

“You’re too old to go trick-or-treating.” Hank’s voice called out from the end of the hallway, his gaze lingering on your body as you narrow your eyes at him.

“Says who?” You counter back, a smirk appearing on your face as if to challenge the man.

“Yeah Lieutenant, why can’t they trick or treat?” Connor’s voice was full of confusion and innocence; his costumed form deflating at Hank’s words. Taking a quick glance over to Connor, you saw his sad eyes and slightly pouted lips. He was looking forward to tonight.

With a deep breath, you decided to pout your own lips and walk closer to Hank, letting your eyes grow sadder with each step.

“Haaaaankkkkkk…..” You dragged out his name as you grabbed both of his hands in yours. “Please!?” 

You could hear him chuckle slightly as he looks down at your connected hands, a faint blush covering both of your cheeks. 

“Alright, alright… But if I have to fucking dress up, you two can kiss my-”

“Aw but Hank, I already bought you a costume!” You could hear Connor’s giggles coming from behind you. “I’ll look dumb if you don’t match with me.”

“Match with you!? Who the hell do you think I am?” You could tell by the small smile on his lips and the teasing tone in his voice that he was enjoying this.

“You are the love of my life, thats who. So get your cute butt over hear and put on this shitty, overpriced costume.”
