making cringy ocs from shows i used to watch as a kid pt 1 (bc fuck it we ball): naruto

Niboshi Maemi!!! i just wanted to make a little freak honestly.

ended up reworking their design a few times but the final result:

kinda hard to read my handwriting no doubt ( i was pretty much just jotting down things as i went) so here’s to sum it up:

Niboshi is a leaf ninja (bc i’m too lazy to look at the other villages) of undecided gender so far. chakra element is lightning, and they fuckin walk around w no shoes on. they hate shoes. reason? no clue🤷

Niboshi: 二星: (“Two stars”) and Maemi:まえみ: (“honest child" or "truthful child"). i wanted something space themed for the surname and after finding Niboshi (per google) decided to play off that and make large ninja stars (Fūma Shuriken?) their main combat weapon. i searched for a while to find a first name and ended up going with Maemi. i wanted something fairly unisex bc honestly i still haven’t decided their gender. i had some vauge idea around the meaning but i’m not gonna get into it bc my brains hazy rn.

they have an rbf (resting bitch face) for sure. as a genin they were more apathetic, stoic maybe. something something, their friend(/homosexual awakening/whatever friends have going on in naruto) dies and shit. gives them the ribbon they use to tie their bun and braids as an adult. probably said it reminded them of them or smth, bc it matches Niboshi’s eye marks i gave them🤷😋. long story short loosing their friend made them more open and shit yadda yadda and as a bonus they aren’t very aware of their constant rbf.
