Yeeaaahhh so watching the Nintendo Direct the other day for Switch 2 was cool to see some new stuff and I especially loved Princess Peach's new outfit in Mario Kart World, which is why I drew this! But yikes.... That price.

Gonna be doing some serious mental gymnastics to justify buying a Switch 2, honestly. I'm a bit gutted.

Bandai Announces Tamagotchi Plaza, a Tamagotchi Corner Shop Reboot

We’re really getting everything we wanted! Bandai has just announced an all-new version of the beloved Tamagotchi Corner Shop game that will be released on Thursday, June 26th, 2025 in Japan and Friday, June 27th, 2025 in the United States! The title of the game will be Tamagotchi Puchi Puchi Omisetchi: Thank You For Waiting in Japan, and Tamagotchi Plaza in the United States!

Not much information has been dropped other than the graphic above, a 15 and 60 second commercial, along with a promotional video! It looks like some of your favorite games from the original Tamagotchi Corner Shop game will make their way to the new one including the dentist office!

There will also be some new games (for a total of 12) including an eye glass store, afternoon tea, but the same gameplay that you love, and this time you can walk around town and meet others!

The graphics are much more robust and high quality. There will also be so many new characters to meet, including the latest ones from the Tamagotchi Uni!
