PHARRELL DID IT AGAIN

_en By now, we’ve got used to adidas getting together with Pharrell Williams and making hypebeasts happy by releasing their collaborative sneakers. This time, however, they also got Billionaire Boys Club involved. BBC is a US premium street-wear label founded by Pharrell himself and Nigo, the founder of BAPE. Hopefully you’re all familiar with this streetwear legend that started in 2005. It’s been influencing the game for more than a decade and it’s been endorsed by the biggest names in hip-hop and pop culture along the way.

The sneakers releasing this time under this long-time collaboration are the Tennis HU and NMD Trail (again). Even though I am not a fan of either of these silhouettes (at all), the colour scheme is not so bad this time. The NMD Trail features a colourful knit upper in white, navy, red and yellow. As per usual, the upper also features some embroideries, namely MIND and HEART. The shoe then sits on a white Boost midsole with navy panels and dark outsole. Sitting on a white sole, the Tennis HU also sports a knit upper and except for yellow, it rocks the same colours as the NMD Trail. At least, there are golden BBC brandings on the heels of both models providing a considerably nice final touch.

Conclusion? I never liked any NMDs or Tennis HUs and this collab is not going to change that. However, if you feel the opposite way, make sure to get them on October 20 when they release in Footshop.

_cz Už jsme si všichni zvykli, že se adidas dává dohromady s Pharrellem Williamsem a za oslavného jásotu hypebeastů vydávají společná collaba. Tentokrát se do hry ovšem zapojuje i Billionaire Boys Club. BBC je americký prémiový street-wear brand, který společně založili právě Pharrell a Nigo, zakladatel BAPE. Snad není třeba vám tuhle streetwearovou legendu příliš představovat. Vznikla v roce 2005 a více než deset let si za podpory největších jmen v hip-hopu i pop kultuře udržela svůj legendární status až dodnes.

Tenisky, které tentokrát pod touto dlouhodobou spoluprací vycházejí, jsou Tennis HU a NMD Trail (zase). I když se mi žádná z těchto siluet nelíbí (vůbec), alespoň musím říct, že barevné schéma tentokrát není zas tak zlé. NMD Trail obsahuje barevný vršek, který kombinuje bílou, navy, červenou a žlutou. Jako vždy jsou na vršku vyšité nějaké nápisy, tentokrát MIND a HEART. Tato teniska pak sedí na bílé Boost midsole s navy panely a tmavou podrážkou. Na bílé podrážce je postaven také model Tennis HU, který má vršek oděný do stejných barev jako NMD Trail s výjimkou žluté. Na patách obou tenisek se alespoň nachází BBC loga, která přináší celkem pěkný final touch.

Závěr? Nikdy se mi žádné NMD nebo Tennis HU tenisky nelíbily a tato kolaborace na tom nic nezmění. Pokud ale máte opačný názor, můžete je chytnout 20. října, kdy vycházejí ve Footshopu.
