Okay. Since we're going over all the takes on Mr. X at this point.. What if his powers really don't have a backside. What if (the state of) his normal life is the backside.

What if his normal life is akin to that of heroes where he has to pretend to be something he's not and follow rules that the people who control his life came up with to further their own goals. What if he can only be free of other people's beliefs and expectations when he's a hero.

What if in reality he truly is like everyone else. The other heroes. The ordinary people. All those who work themselves to the bone, who are tired and overworked and sick of all the exploitation...

What if when he's in the form of the number one hero.. when he becomes the most sought after product on the hero market..

Is when he gains the freedom to truly be himself

#to be hero x #tbhx #hero x #considering one of the first things they revealed to us in the trailers was that he's a white-collar worker...#we definitely need to think about that if we wanna try to predict / guess what he's actually like #this thing feels very lin ling coded but lin ling is tbhx coded (introduction to the main themes of the show)#so I feel like my best prediction rn is that he's actually the other side of the same damn coin #(cue the coin flip clip from the opening *coughs*)#I think from a writing perspective the whole downside thing is based on a characters perception #so if the writers make us think that X is an omnipresent all powerful god #then it just makes sense to reverse it by revealing that the opposite is equally as true #and then he'd have an even stronger incentive to want to break the system cuz both of his lives would've been defined by exploitation #maybe not the bright side of X (at least not after he became No. 1) but I don't think being the best product makes him no longer a product #ACTUALLY #“bright side” was supposed to refer to his hero identity bc of the black & white switch he has going on but #yeah calling his normal self the “dark side of X” would definitely reinforce the idea that it's the not so good parts he hides #and we've not much of normal X yet (other than his sugar stealing. you go boy exploit the company back for sugar. Im loosely following things abt the update through what my friends tell me but I’m not properly invested in it yet, getting into crob’s story has been hard lmao

#ezkel yaps #i was going to do 30 tags in here to make this yk this but i have no idea what to say #uh #my playthrough of diablo 3 is almost complete #and ive been playing it on torment 2 #which is painful at times #i started at torment one but when i got better gear and spells i upped the difficulty to torment 2 #i just beat diablo (the prime evil) at torment 2 #WHICH WAS SO PAINFUL #im out here fighting alone #and this bitch of a demon has THREE levels to him #im just minding my business man #and then he summons fake me's to beat me up #rude #my last billion playthroughs ive had full paragons and sure i up the difficulty those times but i mainly play postgame adventure mode #seasons are different #i miss my beautiful witch doctor 😔#playing wizard rn tho #i played most of the game as a fire based guy but i decided to switch stuff up and be electric ice so we'll see how that goes #i did just kill a proper boss without even properly starting so maybe its a good pre-set armour build #might even have to raise my difficulty #lets hope #i actually have a cat that i named diablo after diablo 3 #i got him when i was 12 and this 8yr old cat embodies his name #hes such a bitch #there is exactly tqo people in this world he wont murder.#he lets me put him in silly little outfits tho #ive got pictures of him dressed like a bee #dressed like a Christmas tree #a little winter coat

I wish I could just play video games all day as my job bc I have so many things I wish I could do like playing all 19 mainline Final Fantasy games in order. #rambling #also theres the fact that i have to investigate Every Nook And Cranny #and other people usually find it incredibly boring to watch me spend two hours just opening Every Barrel in a given location #(although i guess that part could be solved by posting edited videos instead of vods or livestreaming)#seriously tho i would love to be able to do stuff like this #ive also wanted to play every mainline pokemon game (one from each gen) in order for a while now (plus some spinoffs)#and recently ive been thinking it would be neat to play every mainline tes game in order (although daggerfall would be a pain)#the only series ive tried to play every game + dlc in order so far is dragon age tho #and i ran out of free time partway through my inquisition replay so i never got to finish that 😞#(i still need to go back for that before i play veilguard bc i never played trespasser �� but i dont have the time for either of them rn)#i havent even had time to finish bg3. now that i think about it playing all the baldurs gates games in order would be cool tho...#and im still working on BREATH OF THE WILD...#although thats partly bc im stalling the boss fight with ganon so i can finish all the side quests and find all the shrines first lol #ill get to tears of the kingdom eventually... i hope #OH my god. playing every legend of zelda game in chronological order would be SO cool #theyve got that funky timeline stuff going on i could do like branching paths in the playlists or smth like???#why cant i have the free time to just play video games all day every day 😭😭😭#also for the pokemon games what if i let my audience like vote for which game i would be playing in each gen or smth that could be cool #(im doing ruby for gen 4 tho thats non negotiable)#aahhhh i have so many ideas and exactly zero time for them #and there probably wouldnt be that many people interested in them anyway 😭#i mean that would probably be thousands of hours of gameplay whos gonna watch all that
