My opinion is that sex is like... a normal body function and I think it's weird to say somebody is a good or bad person or a loser or a cool guy or whatever based on how much sex they have. whether its a lot of sex or no sex at all. attaching moral judgement to how much sex you have feels like judging someone based on how often they go to the bathroom

just in general . and i have noticed this a Lot on tumblr too; some people seem to think that artists just KNOW their works are good ”so there’s no need for me to say anything” …. which is quite possibly the stupidest idea ever conceived the Best artist / fic writer / editor you know has felt insecure over their art and needed some sense of validation to get out of that mindset at some point. probably many times. your choice to either give feedback or not matters a lot more than you think and if you repeatedly choose not to verbalize when a fanart or fic makes you go ”what the HELL this is so good” then i fear you are part of the reason that person might stop creating

I think the cool and sexy thing about tbhx having an ensemble cast is that they really use it to show different types of people and different types of thought processes (all of which have been pretty well fleshed out for the main chast). It's such a great way of opening up the story to different types of people irl, so it's a little disheartening to see how many people in this fandom I've seen go "this character doesn't resonate with me and because of that, I think they're poorly written."

How do you get that grainy texture on your art? It’s very nice!

thank you!! i love art that's soft and fuzzy...

i generally do it a handful of different ways, but i tend to bounce between a color noise filter layer in soft light mode, between 30% and 50% opacity,

... or i use something from my wide array of paper textures, and usually set the layer to overlay and play with opacity till i'm happy with it

......oooorr i do a combination of the two! which i did in the final version of this piece, which i Also added a gradient map to to make the colors a lil more ✨Dramatic✨

here's where i got (most of) my paper textures and here's a rainbow color noise texture (that i don't personally use but looks rlly similar!)
