Hello, I did!! All the news caught me in the middle of a migraine episode that I'm just starting to recover from so I've been just watching and liking the posts I find but I'm excited!!

The game looks really good. The stylization and tonal shift of the first trailer was odd but it looks great in game honestly. It made me so nostalgic for Inquisition. Solas looks amazing and exactly how I was hoping he would!! The Tarot cards are back and all the companions look fantastic. Everyone looks so fun to draw which very important to me!! I love Emmrich already. I heard the character creator is very extensive and that you have to create your Inquisitor in it too and I like the implications of that. The prologue looks like it mirrors Inquisition's almost exactly. I'm already seeing parallels and symbolism everywhere I'm pulling out some red string and pins for my cork board as we speak.

The combat looks fluid enough, the environments have a lot of verticality and grandeur to them that I enjoy, the fashion is amazing, the offline and more linear playstyle sounds promising, the facial animations look terrible but the hair looks impressive. As for the story, it looks like it's going the way I hoped it would! The prologue had a lot of awkward overly expository dialogue but it's understandable given the circumstances I suppose. I know we were all expecting the Evanuris to be released and the Veil to fall in this game but it happening in the prologue took me by surprise lmao. Rook just immediately making everything worse five minutes into the game is so funny to me.

The scope of everything and the amount of locations and factions seems so ambitious. I have to wonder what really happened during production because at one point it really seemed like Bioware was going up in flames and half the team was fired and now people are talking about how amazing an experience this was and how it was the best team they have ever worked with and I'm so confused. I guess it's not long now until we find out.

The game looks bigger than ever, so I'm excited and a bit apprehensive. I'm hoping for the best and I look forward to it!! 🥰

I think it’s a general rule of thumb that Primes in general - no matter what continuity - are possessive and obsessive of their mates to the point of being if not out right yanderes, possibly due to the fact that Primes don’t exactly have a long life expectancy. I feel like there’s some sort of omen about Primes ‘in love,’ possibly along the lines of ‘when a Prime is in love, it’s bad news for everyone, Prime’s go mad when they’re ‘in love’.’

I read one fic that followed this idea about Bayverse Optimus being Yandere for Sam Witwicky and Ratchet (as he slowly watches the slow-motioned disaster) laments that Sentinel Prime was the same with his mate and weeps because he knows it’s gonna end badly and is scared.

Ohh, I got tf headcanons that mesh well with that line of thinking.

Primes aren't meant to stand alone. They need someone to act as a counter to them, like another Prime or a Lord Protector.

I like to think that Lord Protectors were the answer to help ground the new Primes as their numbers dwindled. They're usually mecha of Primal-descent, have the favor of one the Ancients, or have traits that are compatible with the quirks of their Prime. Lord Protectors are supposed to act as anchors to ensure their Prime doesn't wander too far away into the metaphysical or give into their wilder impulses as well as be a poignant reminder of their mortality and earthly roots.

Primes burn too brightly. Without any control, they flare into a supernova before dying too early, which contributed to the decline of their numbers...

That then led to a massive loss of knowledge and necessary skills that new Primes needed guidance to master their new frames and deep connection to their Creator.

So, a Prime being in love can be an omen, indeed. Especially for a lonesome Prime with no Lord Protector. That Prime would be immediately drawn to someone who's either a long distant Primal-descent or have the touch of the Ancients upon them as they're the greatest likelihood to bring forth a new Prime from their combined lineage.

i just think it's sooo interesting how every time someone needed to be the butt of a joke that subtly othered them within a group of masculine men or to get sensually pinned down and/or tied up or otherwise emasculated by a villain (almost always morgana which is also very telling) it was always closeted gay metaphor the titular merlin™️ or known arthurian bisexual g(a)waine. they really don't do homophobia like that anymore these days. which is probably for the best but when you add everything up it sure does paint an interesting picture of transgressive masculinity (and femininity in morgana's case)

I love your art too!! 🥺 AHH I think out of my Phantom art I like these the most, if I had to pick just one favourite it would probably be the first one in this list 😊 I like all of these for different reasons, the first two and the second to last because I like how expressive they turned out, the third, fourth and fifth because of the composition, the sixth because of the intricacy, the seventh and last because of the lighting, I think in all of these I missed the mark on some aspects but landed the one thing I was going for so I still like them 😆

But I think the art I'm the most proud of right now is the one I've made for my original characters so far!! Not for the art itself but because it's the first original story and art I've made so it feels special to me 😭

A break away from dem angst of the previous WIP posting 😂 (sorry but not really) brain decided (instead of doing the art I'm SUPPOSED to) what if the LaDS boys were playing/in FF14, what'll be their race and jobs

before wwdits tumblr spirals over it for the next two weeks (/months/ years) I would like to remind everyone that the writers (notably Paul) have already stated on record that they knew season 6 would be the last right as they started writing it. they might have had a roadmap up to season 7 loosely figured out, but the show was not abruptly cancelled, and the season was not unfinished. They wrote the entirity of season 6 and all plots and character arcs KNOWING it was the last season. Paul even explicitly states in the most recent WWCITS zine that the ending he had in mind for the show WAS the ending they wrote, and that the only process involved in figuring it out was the specifics of how to write it exactly.

it's fine if you were left unfulfilled by the show, it's fine if there were certain things you wished would have happened that didn't, it's fine if things that did happen didn't in the way you wanted them to, but I need y'all to not spread the "wwdits was cancelled there was ALWAYS supposed to be a s7" drama when s7 was quite literally a dream the crew wanted. even harvey just states they planned for it, not that it was a surefire thing. if anything, what we SHOULD be talking about is how the show continued to keep employees on the payroll long enough to eat into their budget, especially when MOST productions during the time the strikes were going on did not do that. that's fucking rad!!

we can all mourn what could have been but there was no scripted season outside of a few "what if"s passed around the writers room. season 6 was a planned and finished season, and the finale was one all writers agreed on was the finale they wanted in the first place, for that season or another.
