i’ve done a lot of Very Adult Things in my life

but for some reason this whole “making a reservation at an upscale restaurant for my brother, who’s in town to visit, with like, his wife, holy shit he has a wife now, holy shit they’re going to see how i live and it should look adult and shit”

is like

the most nerve-wrackingly adult thing i’ve done in recent memory

#can't even put a finger on why i'm wigged out!#maybe it's b/c i had to actually wear makeup for the first time in like a month #can't let the southerners know how i've let Appearances decay #there's something antientropic about the whole family thing #not evil or bad just... antientropic
