Art fight relaxed their rule on submitting fan AU designs of copyrighted/canon characters this year. i am punishing them for it
I focused in on the most nonsensical things i do with this character in an attempt to prove as strongly as I could that this is suitably AU to fit within the terms of service. if I am mistaken about that someone is going to have to take the step of reporting me for posting cringe ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

hm..... pomni taking peoples hand as a repeating image in the show..... happens in ep 1, with ragatha, its kinda evoked with her reaching for the final exit door, ep 2 is pretty blatant with it i dont need to say anything else on that, and in episode 3 the scene with kinger..... episode 4 doesnt have anything with this i dont think (i COULD technically say her raising her hand at the beginning of the ep but that is a MASSIVE stretch and doesnt fit with what the other instances seem to be representing. her waving at gummigoo MAYBE but the image just really isnt present in the episode, looking at it realistically) but im thinking about this...... cus i feel like its probably notable in the dream sequence in ep 2 that its her arm that gets all fucked up

Finally saw Wicked today. I fear it is, in fact, actually all that and a bag of chips. Like it is genuinely that good
#ramblings of a lunatic#storywise i actually found that they were stretching act 1 a bit thin and it showed in the pacing#but in terms of execution of the musical numbers and aesthetic quality of the sets/costumes/etc???#ohhh bitch. I'm sorry im so fucking seduced by john chu's vision of oz#i am also on team 'this bitch should be more technicolour' but I'm also not a lighting/cinematography guy#like i like Pictures and Images but I'm shit at lighting + composing film shots so yknow. stones and glass houses and everything#anywayyy i love the wizard of oz im a little obsessed w the wziard of oz and all related properties maybe. maybe#god idk if I'd actually enjoy it but i would be really curious to read the book version of wicked. i know it's incredibly different#not just in terms of focus and content but also in terms of being very dense and reportedly a lot drier#but also i do want to see his vision very badly. like when he made oz a surveillance state?? that's smart! it's plainly in the og series!#it's just treated as normal there#but anyway yeah back to the musical i am NOT ashamed to admit i got full body chills during defying gravity#there were parts that were so. sincere and self serious and melodramatic that i couldn't help but love#like YES enough!! with the self referential ironic humour crammed into everything!!!#linger on a moment for far too long and make me sit uncomfortably in the saccharine melodrama!!! it's good for me!!!#the people want big budget fantasy musicals gang...they want razzle and dazzle and heartfelt song!!#and i agree with the ppl. i AM the ppl#wicked movie. good. i enjoy#might just be riding the high of watching it but like idc I'm allowed

I'm so heavily anti-advertising that all pitches sound goofy silly to me/I can never take them seriously, so I have no idea how I'll manage to to advertise my game even if I do finally finish it soon-ish lol...

Like I love when an advertisement is just like 'This product works well. Look at it. Buy it if you want. Ok'#You know what makes me want to read a book or watch a show or play a game? Reading a detailed plot synopsis or the full wiki page#for it and then deciding 'yeah I wouldnt mind sitting through seeing the events I just read about happen in more detail' lol#OR aesthetics. since I do often watch things JUST for the set/costume design. Sometimes I will watch stuff literally#just because I saw a picture of a costume in it that looked really cool and I want to sketch costume looks whilst watching#But aside from appearance like... little bullet point break downs of things that are in a story just ... do not do anything to me at all.#And i just hate 'selling' things to begin with. I don't want to have to convince people to like something.. they should just... like it...#LOL.. like.. just be born liking it. just like it automatically please. Kind of like how if you're a lifelong vegetarian whos never eaten meat - you might#struggle to write an ad for fancy brand of steaks bc you'd be like... idk what meat eaters are even looking for? whats the selling point??#Which I'm not saying that I wouldn't play my own game. i AM definitely the audience for it. But it's more like.. I would play it for my own#very niche specific reasons that I think are different from what MOST people might want to play it for. I just became a fan a couple of years ago. My parents didn’t let me watch it when it first aired, as they didn’t think it quite appropriate for a child the tender age of 9 years. What I enjoy most about your posts are that you’re spoiler free! I sometimes wish I had remained spoiler free upon my initial watch, but my anxiety prevents me from not knowing what’s going to happen next. I do think, had I not been spoiled, my reactions would have been very similar to yours. Especially since when I re-watch the episodes (and films) I still have those reactions even though I know what’s coming. Anyway, that’s all! I love your content!

i often wish i could rewatch my favorite movies for the very first time, which is where the whole idea of this blog came from. i have been lucky to remain mostly unspoiled! with the exception of that first morning where i looked the show up on wikipedia and learned a few major plot points, LMAO, but it was the absurdity of those plot points that made me tune in, so. i suppose all is well with the world.
(well, that first morning i looked some stuff up, AND i've seen a few posts tumblr recommended to me because they correctly deduced that i like the show, but incorrectly deduced where i am in the show. allow me to shake my fist and curse at the algorithm. but still! MOSTLY spoiler free! and luckily, the community has been INCREDIBLY kind- this has genuinely the most positive fan experience i have ever had by a long shot)
