Helloo haven't posted in months XD but yeah I decided to draw these two sillies, I've always planned to make a lil interaction between these two and so I diidd. I'm not sure if people still remembers chiro, since the last time I checked, the fandom died years ago:_(

Also Abt the height difference, it was said in the wiki fandom that chiro's height was 5'7 which took me aback really! I thought he'd be at least the same height or shorter than randyXD

Randy's height wasn't really clarified in the show but people assumed he was at least 5'4

before you say anything,, I KNOW that no one cares about this show. I UNDERSTAND that the fandom is five people (hi guys :3) and a bunch of old as balls military diehards. I understand that. But y’all just don’t get it. Y’all just don’t see it the way that I do. Space Battleship Yamato, and especially Space Battleship Yamato 2199 is my favorite show ever and ever. so if you don’t care about me turning them into ponies, then unfollowed me right now because I’m gonna be making the whole cast and then I’m going to be making stupid spoof comics about them being ponies. and honestly, whenever I get back into drawing people, I definitely will be drawing them as people all the freaking time

I just watched Disney Zombies 4, and it gave me an idea, Valgrace Zombies 4 AU.

So obviously, Leo would be Nova and Jason would be Victor.

Percy and Annabeth as Zed and Addison + Thalia and Grover as Eliza and Willa.

Piper would be Nova’s sidekick-like guy, and Reyna would be Victor’s. (Idk either of their names)

The leaders would be their godly parents.

It’s so perfect, the movie’s even set in a summer camp!

obviously we as a fandom don't talk enough about how the memory and experience of losing a child(YES EVEN IF THAT CHILD CAME BACK TO LIFE DINGUS) has shaped Bruce's identity as a father, but i don't think we really have a good parallel for him, of one of his kids having lost their parents and being openly terrified to lose him. you would think Dick is the obvious example but we NEVER SEE IT. and after that you think it would be Tim but NOPE. and after THAT you think it would be Duke but NOPE. there's just a string of too-distant relationships where the opportunity was there but it wasn't realized.

not that i think their actual relationships are distant, but it took time for Bruce to be firmly cemented as a father figure for each of them. i also think most of them are very aware that Bruce can take care of himself, all except for Tim. and Tim had a while to get used to being scared of Bruce dying before Bruce was his father. the Drakes actually died after Tim had mostly pulled Bruce back together if i remember correctly.

anyways, all this to say that i think Nova is perfect for that role. all but one of her parental figures is dead, and that singular one is very much in prison and she never wants to see him again(Leroy in my writings).

just saw a clip from strange new worlds season three and it bothered me so much.

disclaimer this is just my opinion, if y'all like it more power to you.

but basically, pike, uhura, la'an, and christine chapel all get turned into vulcans genetically (which bothers me already bc shouldn't they just be putting on prosthetics? but w/e that's a bit nitpicky don't mind me). however here's where it gets real bad for me. they start acting like vulcans right out the gate.

huh??? why would they do that? this implies two things, either being logical and doing all that is genetic (which. wrong, incorrect, a total misunderstanding of how vulcans work) or the crew are all trying to mimick spock to get into the Vulcan Spirit™️ (which feels real fucking weird. like. vulcans are not all spock imitations).

and like either way it feels like a fuckup of vulcans. for the first scenario, VULCANS AREN'T BORN LOGICAL. it was born from years of practice. this is why michael burnham was acting like one--she learned the same control a vulcan child raised on vulcan would. if i took a vulcan child and raised them away from vulcan influence they would probably be more emotional. it's even stated that before surak came along, the vulcans were very emotional and highly volatile. and that's how the crew should be acting shortly after they turned into vulcans. they don't have the control that spock or any other vulcan has, so they should be hyper emotional and volatile. implying that vulcans are genetically logical and Like That disregards everything we have been told abt vulcans.

and then for the second scenario, i don't have as much to say bc i don't have a concrete reason as to why it's fucking up vulcans, it just gives me the ick. like idk i think the crew, if they're trying to act vulcan, are basing their interpretations soley on spock. which is bad bc spock is one vulcan. he doesn't represent the entire race. every vulcan acts differently. like idk if that's what was going on it's just ugh. i don't like that. can't put my finger on specifically why but i just don't.

anyways i wish they went abt this differently but hopefully the rest of the episode is better.
