Oh, oh!! If it isn’t too much to ask, can we hear about some of the other planned endings that viewers could have pushed the story towards? I think it’s really neat that we had some effect after all!! :D!

I don't mind answering now. ^^

First change would've been how Levas and Savel first met. Had the viewers not pushed Levas in the right direction to find Savel, both of them would've been far closer to corruption when they met, which would've led to Farrow evolving into an Umbreon rather than a Falcheon. They would've done so to try and help Savel fight corruption by being a dark element, but it would've been to no avail because it just doesn't work like that. They didn't know any better. This would've led down a path of Farrow having some confliction about their evolution, adding more to their issues regarding body image and self worth.

Second change would've been regarding Lucky. Originally, Lucky's punishment was going to be far harsher by Mingle, because as far as Mingle was concerned, what he had done was by and large evil, and when he died, he would've come back, but without his memory. He would've spent years not knowing who Farrow and co all were, and much much longer to regain some of his lost memories.

Third change involved Laivan not being found at all, and therefore Dravol would've been fully corrupted, and remained that way all the way to the end, where she would've been forced to the Incarnate Temple rather than going of her own will. Laivan would've been a dratini still (and Dravol a skitty), and the two would've never reconnected like they did. Both would've died not knowing or remembering who each other was, Dravol from corruption and Laivan from being out of water too long. In this end, also, Antono and Notra did not meet Savel and co until this point either, leading both to not really have much interest and being a lot colder towards everyone. They were there to do a job and that was all it was to them, rather than forming bonds.

Fourth change was Dravol would've died and not been reincarnated either. Eventually she would've returned as a Sylveon, and she and Laivan would've found one another eventually, had they survived the Incarnate journey, but it would've taken much, much longer.

How the audience changed the direction was as follows:

Askers pointed Levas in the right direction, leading him to Savel in time to release the blue light and start to balance one another out.

Lucky was pushed to go to Sinnoh because of this change, and forced to confront his past. Askers helped him further deepen his understanding of his wrongdoings, and also helped him learn to forgive himself and repent for his sins, leading to his fellow beholders also leading to a peace agreement, and lending their strength to him in the big battle.

Askers called out to Laivan, leading him to be 'found' by the audience early, even if you had no idea who or what he was. This in turn pushed Laivan to reveal himself once, singing a warning to all, which in turn stirred Notra and Antono into action, calling them to the right location to find Savel and co.

Askers started helping Dravol in the ask hints, leading Laivan to allow Dravol to be questioned, leading her down the right path to eventually prove herself to everyone that she was capable of change. This led Mingle to revealing herself to askers despite being VERY annoyed about it, but it also strengthened her resolve to use Dravol as a candidate of her God's Exam, which brought her back not only as a dragon (something neither Mingle nor the viewers would've ever known as she wouldn't have been askable) but with her full memories intact.

So yeah. ovo good on yall ;)

Winter Festival Arc: Part One

The screen flickered for a few moments before working again, taking one more slap before the video footage got to work. Chaya grinned. The whole Winter Festival holiday was usually awkward for her; usually, even her father and Ambrose would want her to participate, but she’d been able to squirrel herself away quickly enough.

It wasn’t that she *dis*liked hanging out with her cousins, or her uncles, but it was just… awkward. She never quite knew how to actually *do* social interactions, not when she was getting too much attention — her little cogitator project was at least something to talk about with her cousins, something that she wouldn’t get all tongue-tied and awkward about. Now, she at least hoped to find someone to-

“Chaya?”

Oh, no, *seriously?* Chaya turned as the door to her room swung open, revealing a familiar little girl: her sister, Ruth. Trailing behind her was Uncle Lorgar’s youngest grandson (she honestly wasn’t even sure if he counted as a cousin), Telemus, both holding newly-unwrapped presents.

“Chaya,” Ruth said. “Can you play with me and Telemus? I wanna play puzzle with you!”

“And then can we play trains?” Telemus added, holding up the box in his arms, a set of model trains. “Uncle Bo got this for me, but Phoebus and Circe don’t wanna play. They say trains are for babies.”

Well, *that* was certainly wrong, and Chaya knew it. She hopped off her chair, letting out a (slightly-exaggerated) sigh.

“Fine,” she said. “But promise that you won’t blame me if Dad or Uncle Lorgar find out you unwrapped gifts early?”

The two little children nodded, Ruth snatching Chaya’s hand and already dragging her off. Telemus didn’t follow immediately, though; he approached the cogitator desk, standing up on his tiptoes and looking over the strange device.

Chaya would *definitely* be mad if he messed with it. The whole set-up looked quite rare, like one of the artifacts his grandmother Elena would only let him look at, but not touch. The data-slates on her desk, on the other hand, definitely weren’t as rare. Telemus grabbed one off the desk, balancing it on the box of toy trains and hurrying off to follow Chaya and Ruth.

A young Waddle of unknown genetic origins...often looked at as an outlier to waddle Dees has somewhat a bit of an odd reputation thanks to this. She works as a postal delivery girl for her village the wings despite being odd come in handy for her job. She's secretly a hero her village looks up to and carries a Trident as her weapon, staff when in casual attire.

Either way, I'll seal the stone with a sort of... coat? With a mixture of these two things here. If Quetzal can figure out how to recharge the stone, then this should help keep the stone stable for a long time.

Once the coat's applied and left to dry a bit, it'll need to be tempered and polished.

What is your characters response to fear? (Happiness? Despair?)

Brian tends to freeze more than having a flight response. Flights more of an afterthought.

How often does your character cry?

He cries a lot more than you think but the duration is short. It's like he cuts himself off from crying too long because he (still) feels embarrassed. Like he doesn't allow himself to. He's way better about it now and it's usually because he's really angry/frustrated. With his job as a ER/Trauma nurse, it's something he has to do on a regular basis or else it gets stuffed into a locker like other things.

What causes your character to make bad decisions?

Lack of sleep. It's a great indicator of it when he starts doing that or his his decisions do not make sense.

What is your character's first reaction to hearing a baby crying?

Oh, mood followed by "okay sweetie, what is your deal?" (affectionate). He's got some experience working with babies (and eventually Alicia and [redacted]) so he discern differences.

What is your character's bedtime ritual? Their morning ritual?

Bedtime: Shower (or bath with the bathbomb if it's that kind of day), maybe a little spa action with a face mask after brushing his teeth. A cup of tea! Chill in the bed with a book or watch something with John.

Morning: Get woken up by Spaghetti licking his eyebrows. (Why his eyebrows? Absolute weirdo of a cat.) Bathroom real quick, feeds Spaghetti, makes grilled cheese for breakfast with some juice (if John is up, he waits for him to make breakfast). Talk a little bit, get dressed for work (if not, he'll laze on the couch).

Are there any foods that your character hates but eats anyway?

He doesn't like pork due to what happened to him as a kid. Oddly, Brian doesn't seem to mind it when John or Noelle fix up pork adobo.

How strongly does your character identify with their gender(s)?

Honestly? Brian's cis but on the other hand, he's very neutral/doesn't feel strongly about it. More like "I guess I'm male". In high school, he more or less 'fitted' in but he didn't start putting his gender under the proverbial microscope until college. He didn't feel bad but he didn't feel good about it either. Just "eh". Brian even talked to Noelle a couple of times about it and ofc, she was supportive.

Feminine clothing fits him a lot better and he started to gain confidence, but it wasn't an egg thing, if that makes sense. Though he was worried about what John thought briefly until he saw him going "oh? 👀". (Besides, if anyone had a problem with it, he can kick their ass.) He honestly does what he wants with it.

That said, Brian typically goes by he/him, but he's used they/them a couple of times.

When did your character figure out their sexuality?

Brian's a twofer; he's gay and he's aspec. He figured out from an early age that he was gay but he could not let his parents get even a whiff knowing that. His family ran multiple hunting lounges and he was always fascinated by the men and their sons around his age, but felt nothing for the women and girls. (That said, had he not been disowned by the hunting trip accident, definitely for this, and he was an only child too??)

When he lived with this aunt, he kept the fact that he was gay until the last second in No Place Like Home; Brian and John were holding hands and she saw, reacting in disgust. (and then Noelle decked her in the face for nearly saying something.) In fact, in catharsis, she was still disgusted when he revealed that he was getting married to John.

In high school, it wasn't that much of a big deal, not after that he met John anyway. It was more of a "kinda figured that". Again, he was worried about telling him and the whole "what if this destroys our friendship". Surprisingly chill! (then John asks, trying to be subtle, "so who's your type? 👀")

Now! Addressing the fact that Brian's aspec as well. I bounce between him being demi but also gray-ace. Sure, he wants to date guys, but sex? Total blank spot. Something that rarely occurs in his mind. When he gets asked the question, "hey, who's your crush" or "who would you bang? 🤔" and he either skirts the question or he just answers conveniently.

It's important to a lot of people, but not necessarily him specifically. This is the part where revealing that he's aspec worried him when it was getting to that point with John bc John's love language (least one of them) is physical touch. Sex included.

They had a few conversations -- Brian explaining, John asking questions on what he'd like/ the needs and the wants, the concern of breaking up over it (that conversation had Brian going "oh, we're in this for the long haul, huh?). Communication! (and the best 20th birthday :)) He is sex-positive.

Is your character ever surprised when they see themselves in the mirror?

Yes. Brian used to not be a big fan of the mirror though bc sometimes he didn't like what he saw. He was lanky and not well put together, y'know? And freckles? All over?? Cringe. As he got older though and filled out, confidence that he doesn't look like a weirdo, Brian's surprised at how far he's come. He thinks himself as being really attractive. Those eyelashes and his stunning hazel eyes. Freckles are tiny stars on his skin. He's rather graceful and regal looking. But best of all, he can be like "I may be having a bad day but I know for a fact that my ass is fat and that cheers me up."

Welcome one and all to the official Stardom Bound ask blog! this intro post will be updated occasionally, so check up on it every now and then, yeah?

Currently there are two of us working on this blog! here's a little character info for the 6 currently askable characters! :]

 Hourglass - The host with the most, an old 80s action film star with a love for being in the spotlight. He's a larger object, with four arms and four legs! He really likes spiders. He isn't quite sure how all this internet stuff works just yet, though... his messages look like this: "Mic check?"

Folder - Hourglass' co-host. She's a bit camera shy, and a little high-strung, but she gets the job done! For all the time Hourglass spends slacking off to be the face of the show, she makes sure everything is running smoothly. She doesn't talk much, but give her a little time to open up, and you'll get a very devoted friend. Her messages look like this: "Can this wait?"

Pocket Watch - He's a bit scattered, very nervous about the whole "becoming a TV personality" thing. But, he couldn't pass up the chance at winning. Their actual biggest worry is... finding someone to take care of their cats. He's a sweetheart at his core, once you get past the nervous, quiet exterior - even if he's a bit of a push-over. Their messages look like this: “Am.. am I doing this right..?”

Bass - Bass doesn't say a whole lot, but when he does, he is LOUD. A bit busy with his band, but always happy to speak with a fan! He's easy-going most of the time, but pretty easy to rile up. Has gotten kicked out of venues for starting fights that he swear weren't his fault. His messages look like this: “Are we recording?”

Has any of the askable characters been to kids cove before it closed (Roxy and DJMM definitely haven't) and what did they think of the animatronics there?

Roxy: I WAS active while the entirety of Kid's Cove was open, it was turned into what it was now a few months AFTER I was made.

Chica: Technically you didn't see the FULL Kid's Cove, since the full version also included all of what is Monty Golf now.

Roxy: Whatever, I still saw it and met the others... Other than Foxy that is... Alex was okay, she seemed pretty melancholy when not doing her captaining duties. Sean was a dick, but thankfully he had to stay in the water. Octavia and I didn't talk much. Unlike Sean who could move in the water and come up to the fake shore line, Octavia had to stay all the way in the back, and I never like getting my hair wet, so I never really got to talk to her.

Chica: Octavia was really nice! I wish you could have got to see be better friends with her! She was really good at acting for her villain role for the water ride, but she was one of the kindest animatronics I could think of! Honestly, if her and DJ could have met, I feel like they would have been great friends, just giving good life advice and stuff!

Roxy: That sounds nice... What about you and Sean? Or Alex? I never really got to see you with those two.

Chica: Well... Like you said, Sean can be a bit... of a jerk. Thankfully Foxy or Alex would reel him in if he started to get too mean. He had his moments of being nice, but they were pretty rare. As for Alex? ....We were really good friends until Foxy was decommissioned and she had to take over as captain... I think she blamed me for his decommissioning... I don't really know why...

Roxy: Wouldn't she blame Monty from what I heard?

Chica: I thought she would... But she seemed to have gotten closer to Monty after Foxy was gone, and became more distant from me... Before that though, she was really fun to hang out with. Always wanting a new adventure or trying to get better at a skill! Honestly, she reminds me a lot of you, just not as uh... aggressive I would say.

Roxy: Hey, my aggressiveness works! >:D

Chica: *giggles* It does! But, once she became the new captain she mellowed out a lot. Taking less risks and talking less too. She just... seemed like a different robot after Foxy left... I guess we all were...

Roxy: ....

Freddy: Well, we already talked about Foxy, so I assume you want to know about Sean, Alex, and Octavia? Those three were a great group, especially when Foxy led them! They all played their roles perfectly! Alex and Foxy guiding the kids on an adventure while Sean and Octavia tried to stop them! It was one of the only attractions that was very interactive and hands-on with the animatronics! I think that's why it was one of the most popular attractions...

Sean took his role very seriously, taking great pleasure in trying to ruin the adventure, or splashing kids, and us after hours, hehe. He never seemed to drop the tough-guy act, and even... even made a few kids cry... But, that never stopped kids from riding again! Which, seems a little weird, but hey, sometimes you get weird kids here.

As for Octavia, she was very similar to the DJ! Soft-spoken but firm, and had an authority to her that let you know not to mess around if she wasn't in the mood. Though she was almost always in the mood for a good joke or some fun! I do feel bad though, unlike DJ who can move around the arcade, she was stuck in just one spot entirely. She had full control of the robotic tentacles placed all around the attraction, allowing her to move stuff closer to her, but she couldn't physically move out of the little corner she was stuck in... At least she isn't active anymore and stuck in that one place... *sigh*

Alex... She was a very strong animatronic, basically being forced into the captain role after Foxy was decommissioned. She took the role well enough, but plenty of kids were upset that Foxy wasn't there anymore, and I think that put a weight on her. If she was around more while Roxy was sentient, I am sure the two could have bonded over their feelings of being seen as Foxy's replacements. I feel they both could have helped each other grow and learn how to be someone new without feeling attached to the past...

But, the attraction closed only a few weeks or months after Roxy gained full sentience, so there wasn't enough time for her to become good friends with any of them. It really is a shame... I miss them...

Monty: Oh they were great. All three of them, Sean, Octavia, and Alex. We all took Foxy's decommissioning hard... especially Alex... We were there for each other, and I even helped out at times during their shows to try and make things seem better... like before Foxy was gone... I probably only reminded them of stuff that will never happen again...

Before everything, Alex and I would go off and do stupid shit all the time! Try to find new routes and locations in the Pizzaplex, or challenge staff to sword fights! I mean shit! If she was around when Fazerblast was installed, me and her probably would have gone there and just try to blind each other with those stupid lazers haha! ... *sigh* ... once she became captain it all changed. She tried to act more like Foxy... take control and demand respect... not in a bad way, she wasn't trying to be a dictator or whatever, but she wanted to live up to what Foxy stood for and practice what he believed in... but she just didn't know how and ended up just retreating from everyone over time...

Octavia was so fucking nice! Like, she is basically even nicer than DJ and Sun and Freddy! She cared so much for all of us, even when she was acting like a bad guy for the kids, she still showed she cared! If Sean was being too rough for a younger group of kids, she was able to stabilize the boat and let the kids get an easy win without every letting them realize what was going on! Fuck man! She was amazing, and we all tried to find a way to get her upgraded enough to be allowed to move around, but staff said it was too expensive and not worth it! Fuck them! She WAS worth it! She deserved better than to rot away in the corner of a fucking water set! *growls*

Then there's Sean. Sean and I would fight a lot. Wrestling, swearing, arguing. All kinds of things, but it was always done in a fun way. It helped us get out pent up frustration! It wasn't like me and Bonnie... But... our fights did start getting worse and more... real, once Foxy was gone. I couldn't even go there anymore without the two of us fighting... I... I stopped visiting them once I almost broke Alex... like FUCK! I never got so close to breaking another animatronic before, and the look on her face.... the looks Sean and Octavia gave me... I... I couldn't risk seeing them again...

I ignored Kid's Cove for months... I barely ever saw Alex other than just a passing glance, and I never went to see Sean or Octavia again... *puts his head in his hands* I... I never got to say goodbye... The... The staff announced the closure of Kid's Cove a-and I just.. I just never went to say bye... *sniff* Now they are gone... and.... and I couldn't even fucking apologize.... Bonnie was fucking right... I am a coward... *starts to cry softly alone*

So... how’s everyone doing today?

Well considering today is the 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY of this blog, we're doing well!

We don't have much planned aside from going back through the blog and talking about old memories and our favorite moments and such- if you wanna send in your favorite blog moments and memories, I'd be glad to hear them!

((One whole year ago today, CL encouraged me to start an ask blog based on two talksprites of Edd opening a can of coke and it splashing all over his face bc it had been shook up

From there, it became such a part of my daily routine that I couldn't spend a single hour of my day without checking the blog for new asks and things to post. I remember waking up at 6am almost every day, sometimes earlier, and immediately getting up just so I could get back on the blog and post

Then once more characters started showing up, more people did, and it became a huge snowball of activity- planning special days with special sprites and mapping out new lore made up so much of my daily activity that it just became something to live for

Then Dan was introduced for a one off joke and he became a mainstay for the blog. He got questions and fanart and it made my heart swell with love and joy and appreciation for everyone who interacted

Now look at us- a year later we've got an active server with many friends, over 30 askable characters, and we're this close to 1k followers on the blog!

Activity has admittedly slowed down due to not as many asks coming in and my own life issues getting in the way, but my love for the blog hasn't diminished one bit. I love it and I love all the friends I've made along the way

So to celebrate, I feel we should have a remembrance day- just a day to go through and reread old posts and events and reminisce on our favorite jokes, interactions, lore, art, sprites, etc. Feel free to send in your favorite memories of blog activity through the ask box or submission box if your ask is too long. I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say
