Imagine the look on my face when I realized that imaginary piano but with a button accordion key layout I made up is already a real thing
#maybe its because i have more familiarity with bass/guitar but fret rows make more sense to me than the white/black key solution#every chord shape can be used anywhere on the keyboard piano keys cant do that#you can change keys without thinking about it just move your hand to the next row and keep doing what you were doing#tell me that isn't a more intuitive instrument to play#i have already seen people 3d print a thing you can just place on a regular piano i probably could manage that#now we just need someone to invent a text input method that isnt a touch screen qwerty keyboard and all my keyboard gripes will be over#i guess thats what voice commands are for
