Summary: The first night together brings new experiences...

Elphaba shut her eyes, trying to tune out every overwhelming sensation around her. Crickets chirping in the grass. Thunder in the distance– it was far to the north, they’d surely escape the rain. The clamor of people in the pub two floors down, the general buzz of activity and then– yelling and the clatter of dishes; a barfight must have broken out. Glinda stirred at the sound, and Elphaba ran a comforting hand through her hair, whispering, “Hush, my dear. Rest up now, we’ve a long journey ahead of us.”

No Time To Waste ch. 2: Gloaming 🌅🌌

Summary: The first day of Elphaba and Glinda's journey brings old feelings and new friends.

“If it would make you feel any better,” Elphaba spoke up after a while, “I can let you have the seat nearest to the window. That way, the only person you’ll be in close quarters with is me.”

Glinda perked up a little at this, though she tried to hide any visible signs of it. To spend the entire day pressed against her dear Elphie… perhaps it was just the effects of her hangover, but she felt almost sickened with giddiness at the prospect.

El Gobernador Tony Evers y la Secretaria de Turismo de Wisconsin, Anne Sayers, dieron inicio a la Semana Nacional de Viajes y Turismo (NTTW) que se celebra entre el 4 y 10 de mayo. “El turismo es un motor económico para Wisconsin y esto se debe a los socios locales y a las experiencias únicas que hacen que la gente regrese cada año” dijo el gobernador.   Esta edición de NTTW llega apenas semanas después de que el estado fuera anfitrión del Draft de la NFL 2025 en Green Bay, que recibió a más de 600,000 asistentes de todo el estado, el país y el mundo, con un impacto económico estimado de $94 millones a nivel estatal y $20 millones solo en el condado de Brown. En total, en 2023, los 72 condados de Wisconsin registraron crecimiento en el impacto económico, y la industria apoyó más de 178,000 empleos a tiempo parcial y completo en diversos sectores, lo que representa un aumento del 2 %, y generó $1,600 millones en ingresos fiscales estatales y locales, un incremento del 5.8 % respecto a 2022.
