Legend as echoes of wisdom link lol but confusing

Fanfic prompt : after Linked universe he decided to go visit Nayru and the other oracles again and then seeing the harp of ages

Realized how he can help Hyrule

Because if the harp can let him travel back several centuries then why not go forward

Because that way he can stop ganon from being revived and Hyrule can maybe travel back with him

He and then travels forward in time and then tries to orientate himself about where the hell he even is… then he sees the riffs through time and assumes that dark link has to learn his lesson again and goes in

He doesn’t appreciate the void for taking his voice… he kind of needs it to figure out where the heck Hyrule is because this one certainly looks too colorful to be the same one Hyrule is from… at least not in the next decades or so

Forests still need to grow after all but good for him that he succeeded eventually

Then he meets lueberry and they figure something out to go create the sword out off the crystal Legend dragged out of ,… hell he supposes

The cloak is cool though

So legend goes beefing with the random copies… so unoriginal of dink to go around and summon even more black blooded monsters or something

Well at least he now has the ability to use gps to find out where the next portal appears

And at some point finds out this Hyrule's Zelda is kidnapped and it sucks but maybe a new link will spawn or something

Then he and ganon get to beef ,,and surprisingly ganon remembers him (talking about the importance of friendship lol )

He then gets sent back to the void but manages to free the new Zelda

Then he at some point finds a random ugly ball thing… man, dink really down graded

He finds it with the club he found chases after it then goes and blocks it before the new Zelda …Nelda can go get kidnapped again

Then legend gets Zelded and now knows how much it must have sucked for fable and Nelda

…he only wanted to go visit Hyrule why must it always be an adventure

He will blame him for it later

He also gets the triforce of courage back while Zelded

Then Nelda is back…but it’s two Neldas now

He then gets freed by one after …she copies (?) a bunch of .. beds (?) and kills the other one

Well , let’s hope it’s the good one who kills the other one he always had problems with Hilda

Then he fights an eldritch abomination and uses the ..prime energy (?) to go restore Hyrule

And his voice is back so the first thing he does is ask , “hey , what’s the date and where the fuck am I .?”

He is surprised when the king turns out not to be an asshole

And fucks off into the RIGHT time promising everyone to stay in contact via the post man

Hyrule wakes up to “I fought the embodiment of nothingness and got vored to visit you be fucking grateful”

He is more confused than he was happy about his brother's return

While we may not have had an official Vaati appearance aside from re-releases in Switch online. What if instead of Ganon, Null had used Vaati instead.

This is partially inspired by bouncing some ideas with the amazing @willowthearts awhile ago about how Null works. And possibly just using Vaati occasionally as it's never clear how well the Four sword holds him. So he'd be a convenient "evil" of Hyrule to just show up and try and sent Hyrule to ruin.

If you want to know how I ended up making awesamdrunz children, it was this cat game that allowed me to give them Bubbies. And I was very normal about it. Honeydew was adopted, Lute and Joy were awesamdream children, and Jet was also adopted.

I may have been thoughtless and put Punz in a group (null wind) that didn't allow him to have kittens. Eventually we'll be given magic that will be able to change their groups (winds), but thats Not For A While, so I'm basically staring at the game development timeline with Big Ole Eyes going Please.... Pleaseeeeee....

Okay here we go. So in Majora's Mask, Link, the protagonist can wear a variety of masks that alter his form and abilities. Some of these masks are transformative, and those contain the souls of recently-deceased people who lend Link their power to do what they couldn't in life. Other masks are attained by helping the people of Termina, the mysterious land where the game takes place that's under threat of apocalypse. Masks are symbolic of many things in the game, from the aforementioned souls to lifted curses to wedding unions to items of office. Link can only attain the Fierce Deity's Mask by trading away all of his other masks to the moon children, the final of whom serves as the final boss, Majora's Mask itself. We never actually see the Fierce Deity, but since Link is transformed by the mask, it's implied that it, too, is a representation of a soul that's lending its power to Link. When asked in an interview about the possibility of the mask's soul, the producer of the series replied that it's difficult to explain, but the Fierce Deity mask can be thought of as containing all the memories of the residents of Termina. To me, this implies a protective deity manifesting to prevent Termina's apocalypse, especially because the Fierce Deity's name comes from a title given to certain gods of the Shingon Buddhist pantheon that work to defeat evil and protect humanity. Finally, in the non-canon Majora's Mask manga, the beast Majora is defeated by a mysterious man who is strongly implied to be the Fierce Deity himself. He carves Majora's Mask into the beast's armor to seal its power. I just love the many avenues that one can go down when it comes to speculation about this guy. It's cool to have an OP reward for doing all those side-quests before the final boss, but the lore implications alone make getting the mask worth it to me.

Difference between a god and a mortal

A thing I noticed about the Zelda timeline is following

Phanes is a being who embodies everything (not Zelda lore but Greek mythology lol the fates exist in Zelda and they are Greek mythology characters so l guess )

Also the heavenly principles in my opinion are pretty great to differentiate between what is above mortals and what isn’t

Every being that can evade at least one of its laws and see beyond the bounds it set is technically a god like being

Because what is above mortality other then godhood

The heavenly laws are life, death , space and time if you can give the middle finger to it you should be above a mortal being

Like already said you need one law broken to be able to break all others even if by technicality or theory

Hylia is a very good example like she is above the concept of space as she keeps spawning as Zelda but not her true self which still exists along with Zelda (because if not what the heck is answering when we visit a hylia statue lol)

Being able to infinity respawn as Zelda puts her above life and death by technicality and being able to respawn through time as often as needed puts her theoretically above time

Wind fish another example as it from what we saw is timeless (being able to appear whenever timeline if we count phantom hourglass and Hyrule warriors whale god as the same entity) being above time means being above life and death and space gets ignored via sheer technicality

Who cares about the concept of space if you can freely travel through it and appear at any point

Also lana and cia who as time guardians obviously have to be above time as well and if they can open portals whenever they ignore space as well and obviously they couldn’t have possibly been around since the beginning if they aren’t capable of breaking life and death

Demise same as hylia is beyond space and death and the rest is a necessity to even be above the first two concepts

Then there is Null as well who is beyond space as well and therefore timeless and above life and death by nature of the first two

And while those beings are still all mostly capable of being destroyed or hindered

Hylia and demise literally are just playing chess and the pawns are the heroes or villains and the playing field is the timeline they don’t really can be truly killed perhaps a bit hindered by eachother but not killed

Null was destroyed by the triforce because it literally couldn’t be defeated any other way

The gods of the Zelda universe are interesting

Calebs eyes seemed to bore into your soul with a kind of softness that contrasted everything that seemed to make up the man before you. The conflicting room of mirrors that was Caleb, the many faces and facades he put up all seemed to melt from a simple touch.

Your hand reflected the gesture that he’d done to you many times before. The complexity of your relationship, the dark alleys of doubt that creeped into your mind whenever you tried to search his eyes and his expression. His expression that always seemed to be holding something back. It was all irrelevant, null and void as your hand naturally went to the top of his head.

The inconvenient height difference forgotten as you both sat on the couch, his head in the perfect spot for you to return the favor after all these years. He didn’t smile at first, his eyes reflecting the fast beating of his heart more than anything else.

If he had a tail it would undeniably be wagging, the planes he flies wouldn’t stand a chance against the gust of wind that his tail would produce.

Then, there was the smile. You could tell he couldn’t believe it, couldn’t accept the affection he had received instead of given himself. You would make sure he believed it, ruffling his hair obnoxiously for good measure. That was when he laughed, the sound bubbling up in his throat before coming out as an almost giggle as he pulled your hand away.

I Watched Beetlejuice Beetlejuice a Third Time: More Things I Noticed

Here’s my previous list for those that haven’t read it. Enjoy!

A lot of people on this post I made thought that the dog in the MacArthur Park sequence was Taco from the Ghosthouse segment where Beetlejuice appears in the audience. I am sad to report this is not the case. Taco is a chihuahua, and the dog that appears is more of a terrier. However, some people on Reddit wonder if the dog is the one that ran out in front of the Maitlands’ car and killed them. I haven’t rewatched the first movie yet to check.

When Beetlejuice stitches Lydia’s mouth shut, she’s more exasperated than afraid. She literally tries to yell, “COME ON!”

Beetlejuice looks so offended on Lydia’s behalf when Rory calls her codependent. Like, “Is he serious right now? Get him, babe!”

Beetlejuice appearing before Delia can finish summoning him furthers the eavesdropping theory I made in my earlier post, and if we go off that theory, we can explain by Beetlejuice wasn’t that bothered by being summoned away at the wedding. He’s overheard Lydia’s desire to take her relationships slow and her reluctance to marriage. (Which is most definitely because of him and the fact that the last living person she loved tragically died—even if their relationship was over before that point.)

In the film, Beetlejuice is the ONLY person that agrees to help Delia find Charles, which we see her do at the end of the movie. This means that Beetlejuice kept his word and helped Delia, and he didn’t keep her away from Charles after the wedding fell through.

“MacArthur Park” plays when the studio intros roll, during the wedding sequence, and the end credits—three times when we have three different iterations of Beetlejuice and Lydia’s dynamic, fun fact. This is meant to be their song, and although the song is about a doomed relationship, this part sticks out to me: “After all the loves of my life / You’ll still be the one.” It doesn’t matter if Beetlejuice gets the timing right. It doesn’t matter if Lydia marries him. He considers her “the one.” He’s always going to wait for her, as conveyed by “Right Here Waiting.”

Astrid opens pages about violation 699 and summoning sandworms via trapdoors. I understand that was meant to “foreshadow” later events and explain why she knew how to do those things, but the terms for 699 are barely on-screen, so it’s hard to catch the part where it lays out how bringing Lydia illegally into the afterlife makes her contract null and void.

When Delores appears at the church, there’s a huge gust of wind, and the Handbook moves, but NOTHING ELSE MOVES with that precision until Delores moves Lydia away from the altar. This is kind of a stretch, but I personally think it’s possible that Beetlejuice saw Delores, and he purposefully sent the book in Astrid’s direction. If we go off my eavesdropping theory, he clearly knows Astrid is a smart girl. Plus, he stopped her from getting to the book earlier, so he knows it’s a threat.

When Beetlejuice has a dramatic entrance or exit, it’s very intentional. He does a whole dramatic couple’s therapy bit for Lydia and Rory. He does the earthquake through the model with a slow rise from the smoke. But we’ve also seen him appear in straightforward ways, too, like how he appears randomly to spook Delia. Beetlejuice controls his entrances and exits, and so his dramatic exit at the end is intentional. He allows Lydia to send him away. He makes a big show of it. Lydia has been manipulated by Rory for years. He’s tried to control her and stifle her. When Beetlejuice lets Lydia send him away and makes a big show of it, he’s demonstrating the amount of control he’s giving to Lydia. He goes because SHE wants him to, not because he can’t stop her from saying his name.
