she grew up in the boogie down bronx and would spend time with her abuela watching classic movie musicals-- west side story, damn yankees, mame, etc. santana grew up with a love of jazz, r&b, and latin music.

in school, santana joined chorus and immediately was the best singer out of the gate. she naturally had a voice that was very different from her peers and that made her stand out. she liked that.

Biography:

As the oldest, Sam always felt like there was a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. His dad always instilled in him that hard work was the only way to get through in life and tried on many occasions to help Sam develop some good handy life and craft skills but decided against it after risking injury one too many times. It became clear this wasn’t Sam’s strongest skill and to save his fingers his father decided it was for the best. Sam’s head was always in the clouds, he was a big daydreamer. His dad then tried to get him to focus on his schooling which was definitely not a skill due to his dyslexia. One skill he was able to pick up was his love for guitar and celebrity impressions. It came so much quicker to Sam than a saw or writing ever did. Sam loved to sing and dance and found he could make a large amount of sounds just from his mouth. He just loved it and he was told he wasn’t half bad looking either.

In high school Sam met his sweetheart Penny. Sam found someone who just seemed to get him and keep his feet on the ground. They married young which may or may not have had anything to do with the up and coming Mayan apocalypse (not that he told Penny that) but Sam was very glad he found love before life came to an end. When it turned out that the world hadn’t ended Sam believed life would have been easy from then. He was married, could start his family life and settle down. No one told him that maybe life isn’t that straightforward. 

It turned out life after high school and as a husband came with a lot of responsibility and while his wife seemed to have an idea for her life Sam was pretty clueless what to do. Life became really difficult financially. Sam tried numerous things to support his family. From using his looks modelling which he began to get some success from however he found the lifestyle hard and decided it wasn’t the path for him. One day getting coffee someone mistook him for Justin Bieber and he was filled with a brilliant idea. Hence the creation of his one man show The Justin Bieber experience. Sam would get hired for birthdays and events as a Justin Bieber impersonator and he was pretty good at it. 

When Penny expressed her desire to finish nursing school Sam wanted to support her in fulfilling her dreams. So he started to expand his repertoire of acts and developed his voice acting skills along the way. It was during an awkward booking at a bachelorette party where he was performing as Justin that Sam was approached about taking his performance into the male stripping world. The tips alone were incredible and White Chocolate was born. With Penny’s blessing Sam put his effort into the profession and it gave them the stability while she studied. 

Sam always wanted a family. So as they were getting older his desire to start was growing. He felt his time as White Chocolate was limited and Sam didn’t feel like he wanted to have that profession when he became a father. So he hung up his gold hot pants. That’s where his voice acting became his focus. He still does celebrity impersonations on the side but started voice acting and volunteering at the local hospital radio. He may not be academically gifted but with NYADA’s The Channing Tatum former male stripper grant, Sam was able to attend college and took up a voice acting course to hone his skills.  While they haven’t been able to start a family Sam has adopted a dog called McConaughy who really is his fur baby and waits for the day they will be ready to start. He’s ready supportive of his wife activism and enjoys giving back and supporting those less fortunate than himself.

the third illegitimate child of susan owen, but the first girl, penny has always felt something of a responsibility to mother her siblings—whether they're older than her or not. susan was never really around, often working undisclosed jobs or hanging out with whichever guy drew her attention that month, so the self-appointed responsibility fell to penny. with a kind, caring but take-no-BS nature, she was the perfect person for the job—and the perfect candidate for what would go on to be her actual job, too.

Frannie Fabray is a 36-year-old Psychology professor at NYADA, known among students and faculty alike as brilliant, bizarre, and absolutely convinced that the truth is never what it seems. Whether she's lecturing on cognitive bias or casually bringing up MK-Ultra during office hours, Frannie lives at the intersection of academic intellect and unfiltered curiosity. Born in Billings, Montana to a middle class family of 5. Brody grew up playing sports but showed an interest early on in entertainment as well. He tried to do both throughout his formative years but by high school dance and theater were winning out. Wanting to be one of the few people to leave his home state, he focused on singing and dancing and applied to colleges mostly out in California as well as New York.

NYADA's acceptance letter marked a new chapter for Brody, leaving behind his family and all that he'd known for an unknown future in the Big Apple. Odd jobs consumed most of his free time, and thanks to the advice of some friends he'd made he began to work out and give himself something of a big city makeover.

It worked, and by his second year the confidence boost had landed him a job working as a Teacher's Assistant for one of the top dance instructors and professors at NYADA. It apparently also turned some heads, as Brody found himself in a friends-with-benefits situation with that same professor, or perhaps more specifically a benefits-for-grades situation. That little bit extra helped to rank Brody near the top of his class all the way to graduation.

And through some other connections he'd made, Brody found himself working as a gigolo. Suddenly his money issues were in the past, and he indeed graduated from NYADA near the top of his class while keeping a secret of just how he was paying his way.

After leaving school Brody tried to make a go in the theater world, working mainly in Off-Broadway ensembles and the occasional shot in a Broadway ensemble. The level of competition was eye-opening, and the most high-profile role Brody was able to land was Drew Boley in a national touring company production of Rock of Ages.

After a few years of working, supplementing his income as an escort, a severe knee injury during a dance practice threw everything into turmoil. And as Brody considered his future, now deep into his 20's, rehabbing his knee gave him a new interest beyond performing. He enrolled in kinesiology studies at NYU, and once again found himself splitting his time between studying and paying the bills as a gigolo until eventually graduating once again.

Now Brody has found himself back at the place it all started once again, working at NYADA as a Professor of Kinesiology.
