The Beginning of The End

Oswald Cobblepot paces around his office, glancing at the clock every now and again. He had already sent someone to get Edward Nygma, now it was just a waiting game. After about half an hour one of his men walk in with Ed, he had gone willingly.

“Hello Edward. Old friend” Oswald says with a grin.

“Oswald, it has been far too long.” Edward glances around the room “Things seem to be running smoothly”

“Indeed they are.” Oswald sits down. “Please, take a seat.”

Edward nods and sits down “Well, I assume you need something, so what is it”

Oswald nods a bit “Well, I’ve heard that Jeremiah Valeska, nicknamed “The Joker,” is building an army of sorts to take me down for killing his ‘one and only’ and I was hoping you could shed some light upon the situation, especially since you have that file on potential threats”

Ed sighs “Jeremiah’s current location is unknown, but he still seems to be able to make people loyal to him through various methods. And his ‘One and Only’ well, that would the the icicle you have in your lounge”

“Makes sense…”Oswald mutters

“And I’ll help find him, and kill him” Ed says, knowing Oswald’s next question

“Great” Oswald grins “Now where should we start”

More Nygmobblepot Headcannons, Because You Seemed To Like The Last One :)

Ed is really good with kids. He loves kids, and knows how to make them happy. He's like a fun, goofy dad! (If you don't believe me, go to the start of episode fifteen, season four.)

Oswald, on the other hand, is nOT good with kids. Actually, correction: he's okay-ish with kids, he just doesn't like the general category as much as Ed. Oswald isn't usually the best with kids, but he'd do anything for the kids who he actually likes.

Oswald is absolutely a protective, jealous boyfriend. Anytime Ed talks to a new person, Oswald over-analyzes every detail of that person and Ed, trying to see if they're flirting. (Trust me, go to episode fifteen, season four, timestamp, 16:00.)

Oswald has sensitive skin, and you can't tell me that he doesn't have a skincare routine, or at least a lot of lotion.

Oswald likes to doodle. He had accidentally made a habit of doodling on important documents, so now he carries around a pack of sticky notes so he doesn't "ruin" important papers. His house, or at least one of his rooms, is littered with different colored sticky notes, all with something different drawn on them.

This is shown in the show a tad, but Ed is an incredible cook and baker. Cooking and baking to him is a science, and he always knows the best blends of flavors.

(Ed cooks for Oswald as often as possible. He likes to spoil his lil bird with good food.)

So my theory, is that this happened after the Wake Up Alone scene. Ed was probably like, "aight, look. If you're going to continue to...

me, we need to set up at least some boundaries." And then, Ghost!Oswald was probably like, "oh, Ed, *sly, sexy smirk,* you're the one that created me. I have no boundaries thanks to you." And then he goes down on Ed or some shit, then Ed actually got curious and wanted to experiment and see if he could actually have freaky ghost sex, so he went through with it and topped his ghost pal. Then afterwards he's like, "oH shit, I just had some freaky ghost sex. I've gotta get rid of these pills," and then that's when he dumped them into the pier. (My girlfriend agrees with me, and if she agrees with me, then it happened. You can't tell us otherwise because she knows better than most of you.)

Ed probably has cold, clammy hands.

Oswald hums and sings to himself frequently. Whenever he doodles, or writes important papers, or dresses himself, he hums or sings to himself. Oswald thinks Ed doesn't notice, but at any given moment, Ed gets completely lost in the song, and he forgets he's doing whatever he's doing. He's probably burned food while getting lost in thought, listening to Oswald hum.

When Ed isn't sleeping in the same bed as Oswald, Oswald uses a weighted blanket to help with his anxiety. Usually Oswald is calmed down by Ed being there, drinking in his warmth and comforting embraces, but when he doesn't have access to that, he uses a weighted blanket. (Maybe he uses a weighted blanket AND a heated blanket. Holy sh!t, I should do that. Imagine getting a good idea to help with your anxiety by coming up with headcannons for a fictional couple. That's the dream, and I am currently living in it. What a time to be alive.)

Oswald has pretty bad anxiety, (he probably takes meds for it,) and some of his triggers include loud noises, such as gunshots or sudden screaming. (I think this can be seen frequently throughout thr show.) I feel like has pretty bad separation anxiety, too. He might have a hard time with change, and he doesn't like being without Ed for long periods of time.

Sometimes, Ed falls into mental states and doubts his self-worth. He vanishes for periods of time to try and figure things out without help, which, in turn, freaks out Oswald.

They both need couples therapy.

Oswald's hands are relatively small, and Ed's are relatively big. Hand-holding works out pretty well. :)

(I realized that I messed up on my last post, so I'm improvising.) Ed is a cat person, Oswald is a cat person, but also likes dogs. They settled for a dog who behaves like a cat, because this is my post and I've had to experience this multiple times, so why can't Oswald and Ed? :)

I feel like Ed would have a fuhk ton of fun socks.
