Things I Think About: Diavolo x MC HCs
(Divider by aquazero)
- MC wrapping Diavolo up in a warm blanket and watching cute cartoons with him
- MC cupping Diavolo's face in their hands and kissing him until he turns into a blushing, moaning mess
- MC squeezing Diavolo's hand during a stressful student council meeting
- A demon brutally insults Diavolo to his face. MC opens a can of verbal whoop ass on him. Barbatos snickers the whole time
- A thoroughly upset, stressed Diavolo calling MC in the middle of the night about a nightmare. MC takes the time to calm him down by telling him cute jokes from the Human World
MC then shows up at the castle an hour later to spend the rest of the night by Dia's side. Barbatos makes S'mores. MC and Barbatos keep Dia company for the rest of the night
- Diavolo having to turn on Prince of the Devildom mode, to make an important, serious decision, but he all the while hates himself for making it because he thinks MC will hate him over it
Dia locks himself in his room afterwards and cries, hating the possibility of MC hating him
- MC finds out about what happened, hugs Diavolo really hard, kisses him really hard and wipes away his tears
- MC cupping Dia's face and telling him 'you're going to be a GREAT King' and 'you're so amazing, my beautiful, wonderful prince'

Obey Me: Cult Survivor MC
How long had it been since the exchange student had won their hearts only to slowly drift away and never contact them again mere months after they had left for the human world. Was it a few years or several? Even if it has been a decade it wouldn't have eased the pain of loss. All relationships come to an end, but the way MC had cut all ties after a massive argument over how they hadn't been acting themselves since a few months back in the human world was certainly one of the worst ways to do it.
Something was wrong, very wrong, but nobody had the words to explain what was happening and no attempts to reconcile or speak to MC worked. They had been blocked on every platform and MC made it clear they refused to ever acknowledge the brothers or the members of Purgatory Hall and the castle ever again. They wanted so desperately to break through to them, to make them understand that they needed help, but all it seemed to do was hurt them more.
That's why it came as such a surprise to all of them when they got a message from MC again, a guilt ridden self loathing apology mixed with a desperate cry for help. They couldn't stay where they were anymore, they didn't know what to do, they knew that someone would come after them because they disobeyed. They sounded like their old self, albeit broken and terrified. The MC they knew was desperate for any form of safety and comfort.
The message was something that greatly worried all of them. Though it was never clear who MC had to fear, it was clear they needed help and fast. Soon enough MC was brought back to devildom, a shell of their former self, shaking and jumping at every sound and mumbling things under their breath. They were given the proper space they needed to begin the healing process.
Weeks went by as the various people that MC had once cut off accepted them back with open arms and aid. Slowly they got their bearings and we're able to properly talk about everything that has happened, slowly and surely processing each bit piece by piece. MC had been in a cult, and they had been isolated away from everyone who wasn't willing to stay within the hive mind. Any dissent from the narrative of the leader(s) was enough to cut people off and any attempts to contact those cut off further would be seen as betrayal. They had been convinced of so many things, but none were true. Their entire grasp on reality and truth for the time since they left devildom was destroyed when they realized what was happening to them. Now they were aimless with nowhere else to go, and only people they could rely on before was the cult. Of course they'd be allowed back if they regressed to their cult personality, but they could never be happy or blissfully ignorant again. They would keep destructing in that place. They had seen hell, Devildom, and they much preferred it to the cult.
Slowly and carefully they were given support, they learned to function better. It took days, months, years. They were never the same again, the PTSD was crippling and some of the things they used to love were tarnished but they were able to experience joy again and no longer think of those that had broken them so completely.
Lucifer was a a cold shoulder to cry on and an iron grip on their arm or shoulder to help them pull themselves back to reality. Mammon to help them allow themselves to want again and not feel disgusting for wishing for better. Beelzebub often helped feed them and get them to be willing to actually enjoy eating again after the restrictions the cult placed on their diet. Belphegor often slept beside them, monitoring them for nightmares and aiding them in restful sleep. Asmodeus helped them slowly work through understanding what was consensual and what was assualt, helping them understand they were allowed to say no. Leviathan reintroduced them to the media that they had been brutalized for enjoying and helped them feel safe to express interests their abusers had hated. Satan was there to help then unleash their anger at their situation, their abusers, and the world for taking so long for them to get help, to let them beat on his chest until falling into a puddle of sobbing and screaming.
Simeon did his best to console a broken MC asking if they were disgusting and broken and tainted forever, assuring them that they're perfect and had done nothing wrong by leaving their abusers. Luke did his best to understand, always becoming deeply distressed and worried for someone they had once seen as a reliable role model and like an older sibling be so utterly destroyed. Solomon slowly helped them grow willing to interact with humans at all again, and was always there to listen to their venting and breakdowns, he'd often offer to curse those who had destroyed the mental wellbeing of his friend.
Diavolo was devastated by the whole ordeal, for years he blamed himself as well, for being the one to let MC go back to the human world. He did everything he could to cater to MC and make up for his own perceived guilt, and always help MC with their own feelings of being a burden. Barbatos helped them to the best of his ability, always making sure to let them know of how much better off they were out of the cult, and showing them how happy they could be in lifetimes away from it and with their friends. Even after everything, things would get better, eventually. They just had to hold on.... just had to not decide to lose hope and completely fade away from life itself.
It hurt for years and years, but the hurt dissipated, lessened and dulled. After a decade they were able to finally be as close to they could as their old self, and we're able to be independent again on some level, deciding to stay in Devildom and making a life of their own with healthy relationships.

Leanan Concept Design

Leanan was raised alongside her younger brother in a strictly religious household, where exposure to the outside world was limited.
Taught extreme Christian beliefs like hatred for homosexuality and how women should be treated as less than men—experiencing widespread sexism and having to cover every mirror in the house because she was repulsed by the way she looked by her physical appearance.
Despite the bleak paintings imposed by her parents, she recognized the genuine beauty in people from various backgrounds. However, she remained unable to perceive the canvas of her own beauty and love.

5 Sides of Human
{Part Twenty-Three}
Genre: Mixed
WC: ~3.7k
CW: skin picking/scratching, anxiety/panic attacks, mentions of blood, mentions of death, Barbatos being aggressive lol, Illusion to past trauma, swearing, Storm has a stutter but I am not depicting it with written word consistently, prolly lots of typos lol, spoilers for season 1&2, I'm skipping over/changing some things I didn't like in the main story so it will be a bit different from canon!
Series Masterlist
©️ artwork commissioned by @vivi8bit ©️
“I don’t understand, why is a stupid record bein’ broken such a big deal?” Mammon crossed his arms. “Beel’s just cursed or somethin’ right? So just reverse it. No biggie for someone like you, Lucifer.”
It didn’t take long for most everyone to begin sobering up once Lucifer began to exhibit signs of panic. While some thought it was just because he cherished his precious records, others were a bit more concerned. The usual stoicism of the eldest brother faltering was not something often seen, and Storm especially began to grow deeply concerned by what this meant.
“It’s not just the siren song that was on this record.” Lucifer sighed, nervously picking at pieces of vinyl. “It contained numerous dangerous songs. One of those songs was the Hymn of the Reaper.”
Solomon and Barbatos gasped in sync, catching everyone’s attention.
Storm swallowed, fear welling in her stomach. “W-what’s the Hymn of the Reaper?”
“It’s a song from the opera of the same name. It’s performed at the climax of the story.” Solomon gave a deep, concerned sigh. “The protagonist is a young man who is killed by the reaper in the last scene. That’s when the reaper sings this song, blowing out the candle upon which the man’s soul burns.
“This is the record I obtained for you in exchange for some rare demonus several years ago, yes?” Barbatos nervously glanced toward the pieces in Lucifer’s hands, already knowing the answer.
“Indeed.” Lucifer sighed. “The version from the year 1818.”
“That’s the performance that was so ghastly that it’s rumored they were actually channeling the spirit of a reaper, right?” Solomon shook his head, his eyes widening in panic. “This isn’t good at all...”
Storm shuddered as a chill went up her spine. Looking to the other humans for support. The only other sober human was Vivi, who shrugged in uncertainty as she caught her gaze.
“So, what does this mean exactly?” Diavolo sighed, rubbing his temples to nurse his impending hangover.
“It means that Beel may have incurred the wrath of the reaper by breaking the record.” Solomon glanced toward the 6th born, who nervously fidgeted with his fingers. “And there’s a chance that the reaper might decide to extinguished Beel’s soul at any moment.”
Belphie shook his head, frantically trying to regulate his breath “What! B-but that would mean-”
“Beel’s soul would be taken by the reaper and he would cease to be.” Lucifer sighed, refusing to make eye contact with the others in the room. His heart pounded with fear, and his skull felt as if it may crack with how terribly his forehead was throbbing.
The room grew silent for a moment, those were still in their boozed haze before where now snapped back to the harshness of reality. Beel whimpered nervously, not knowing what to make of his situation.
“T-that can’t be right...” Vivi shook their head, feeling their own panic begin to rise. “They’ll kill him over a shitty broken record?!”
“That’s so stupid! And how would the reaper even know that Beel was the one that broke it?!” Fern added, trying to shuffle their way closer to Belphie without being noticed. They stood a few steps in front of him, holding his hand behind their back to ensure no one else saw.
“I’m afraid I can’t say for sure, but I wouldn’t exactly rule it out.” Barbatos sighed. Everyone glanced at each other nervously, not sure how to take the news that Beel’s life could end at any second.
“W-what are we going to do?” Storm nearly shouted. She squeezed Beel’s hand tightly, smoothing over his knuckles to try to calm both him and herself down. “There’s got to be something we can do to fix it...right Lucifer..?”
Lucifer hesitated but glanced up to meet Storm’s panicked expression. His heart dropped to his Stomach as he watched the last bit of hope drain from her eyes, clearly not reassured by his demeanor.
“I’m not sure...” He dropped his eyes back to the record pieces. He smoothed over the vinyl with his thumb, trying his best to remain calm to not further spiral the room into panic.
After a moment of tense silence, Satan cleared his throat. “Well, based on what I’ve read, the reapers are said to live in a cave somewhere in the Devildom, though the entrance is hidden quite well.”
Fern crossed their arms. “Okay, so say we find this place...what exactly are we looking for, then?”
“In the deepest part of the cave is a chamber where row after row of candles are kept. Each one represents someone’s soul- angels, humans, demons...all creatures that reside within the three realms.” Satan began pacing, as if trying to work out the logistics of getting to the cave. “Normally, the reapers monitor these candles. When one of them starts to go out, they know that the person’s death is nigh, and go to harvest their soul.”
“So all we have to do is just get into the reaper’‘s cave and check on Beel’s candle right?” Storm glanced around, her eyes finally landing on Lucifer
“Then...then why don’t we do that?!” Belphie yanked his hand out of Fern’s pushing past them to plead with his older brother. “What the fuck are we just sitting around for then!? Beel’s life is on the line here!”
“Belphie, I’m afraid it’s not that simple.” Lucifer sighed, finally setting the pieces of the record on the credenza behind him. “Amongst all else, I don’t even know where the reaper’s cave is, and-”
“But we can’t just sit and do nothing!” Belphie yelled, now standing toe-to-toe with the eldest. “Don’t you care that Beel could die!?”
“Of course I care!” Lucifer snapped back aggressively, hurt evident in his tone. He and Belphie stared each other down for a moment as everyone watched on in an uncomfortable silence. After a tense minute, Lucifer sighed again, pinching the bridge of his nose. His voice was now a mere whisper, hiding the tears that threatened to pool in his eyes. “I care more than you know, Belphie.”
Beel whimpered again, trying to ease his discomfort by squeezing Storm’s hand. Before Lucifer and Belphie could argue any more, Solomon chimed in cheerily.
“Oh, I know the location of the reaper’s cave. I can take you there if you’d like.”
Everyone snapped their heads toward Solomon, confused as to how he even had that information. He smiled at Storm, who looked incredibly relieved.
“Why the fuck didn’t you say so earlier!” Vivi snarled, balling their fists tightly. They attempted to take a threatening step toward Solomon, but were stopped by Satan’s outstretched arm.
“Whatever! We just need to go. Now.” Belphie gestured impatiently toward Solomon. “Lets get a move on!”
“Wait.” Beelzebub sheepishly murmured. “I should go alone. This is my problem, I need to fix it.”
“No, I have to go with you. You can’t do it alone.” Belphie linked arms with Beel, refusing to let go.
“You have no idea what you’re up against.” Lucifer sighed. “Everyone else stays put, Belphie, myself, and Beel will go.”
Before Storm could open her mouth again, Lucifer interrupted her. “That includes you, Storm. You are staying as well. I need someone responsible to look after the others.”
“What, ya saying I ain’t responsible?!” Mammon snorted in frustration.
“Yes.” Lucifer stated flatly, before turning to Solomon as he began drawing a large circle on the ground with chalk.
“Lucifer...” Storm pleaded, her eyes shimmering with fear. “I’m worried about Beel. Please...”
Lucifer sighed. “...I have a bad feeling about how things will turn out with all of us going to the cave. This is enough of a hassle as it is. I have no desire to make it even worse...” he paused, staring into Storm’s puppy dog eyes.
“But there’s power in numbers, right?” Heart added with a shrug.
“Yes, I’m sure that would be true if you were talking about individuals who were in any way competent.” Lucifer pinched the bridge of his nose. “But that’s not the case here. Just imagining this group in that castle gives me a headache.”
“We’re a family.” Levi interjected, stepping forward. He puffed out his chest in a display of faux confidence as he stood up to Lucifer. He swallowed hard, sparing a nervous glance to Sarah for support. “We wont just stay back and do nothing. We’re going.”
Lucifer sighed, closing his eyes as he admitted defeat. “Fine. But you will all behave and better not touch a single thing in that cave.”
Storm ran to Lucifer, hugging tight around his midsection. He lifted his arms, uncertain of what to do with them as she nuzzled her head against his abdomen. Her voice was low enough to where only he could hear. “Thank you, Lucifer.”
His cheeks burned red as he awkwardly patted Storm’s back, not knowing how to feel about her sudden, brazen display of intimacy in front of the others. He glanced around, landing almost instantly on Fern’s harsh scowl, and then to Barbatos’ warning stare. Finally, she let go, smiling warmly at him. He couldn’t help but smile back.
“I will request that we have some individuals stay behind to aid in cleaning the mess with the angels.” Barbatos interjected, trying to shift the focus to the ridiculous mess behind them. He narrowed his eyes at Sarah, knowing she was a significant contributor to the mess.
“Fine. Sarah, Vivi, and Fern, you two will stay.” Lucifer aided Solomon in moving some furniture out of the way as he marked his path, whistling a joyful tune as he worked.
“What! Why us?!” Sarah’s words slurred as she whined at the oldest.
Lucifer whipped around, a look of rage passing by his features as he pointed to Sarah and Fern. “First of all, you two are beyond drunk and your presence would likely cause trouble. Second, you all specifically are responsible for a significant amount of this damage, and I expect that Barbatos will keep you three in line.”
Lucifer turned to Barbatos, straightening his back. “You have my permission to inflict any punishment you desire if either of them shirk off their cleaning duties.”
“Understood.” Barbatos smiled wickedly, casting a satisfied grin toward the 3 humans. He immediately handed them all brooms, ordering them to get to work.
Lucifer sighed, catching Storm’s twinkling eye and warm smile out of the corner of his vision. She moved to grab Beel’s hand again. He figured she was comforted by the supportive touch, and thought for a moment perhaps he should take up her other one.
“It’s been a long time since I’ve drawn this particular magic circle.” Solomon mused, cutting off Lucifer’s thoughts.
“Hurry up Solomon.” Belphie hissed, impatiently pacing around Beel and Storm.
Another deep sigh escaped Lucifer’s lips. “Please try to be patient. We don’t want him to make an error and send us to the middle of Lotan’s lair or something.”
“He could work a little faster though.” Belphie murmured as Solomon stood, dusting off his hands.
“I have to say, I am surprised that you counted a reaper amongst your acquaintances, Solomon.” Satan sighed, dusting off a stray mark from where Solomon’s chalk had snapped.
“Yeah, aren’t reapers known to like...keep to themselves?” Levi added, “I hear they’re pretty anti-social...”
“Oh! Oh! Solomon! This reaper friend of yours...are they hot?” Asmo giggled, leaning obnoxiously far over him as he continued marking the ground.
Solomon chuckled. “Hmm. Good question. I suppose you should just see for yourself, right?”
“Aww, no fair! I want to meet the hot reaper!” Sarah pouted, stamping her foot in annoyance.
Barbatos clicked his tongue in annoyance before whaping her across the nape of her neck with a wooden spoon. Sarah yelped, glaring toward the butler in annoyance.
“Fucking OW!” Sarah whined, now sweeping faster for fear of being struck again.
“Come on, Solomon. At least give me a little taste of what to expect!” Asmo begged, tugging on his coat.
“Well, I wouldn’t say this reaper looks like an antisocial loner, but I suppose they do sort of fit that description.” Solomon shrugged. “Though I suppose their appearance is a matter of taste, really. I find them quite attractive, though I’ve really only seen them looking quite angry.”
“Wait, I thought you said this reaper was your friend...” Heart glanced uneasily toward Asmo.
“I’d like to think we are.”
“What the hell is that supposed to mean?” Vivi raised an eyebrow in irritation.
“...Well...” Solomon chuckled nervously, “...I just don’t know if the feeling is mutual.”
Storm swallowed hard, shifting her weight between her feet. Lucifer looked on, feeling bad that she didn’t have Malice at her side. Beel’s reassuring squeeze of her hand seemed to calm her down slightly though, which eased his guilt.
“Alright, finished.” Solomon turned to the brothers and Storm. “Now, this reaper isn’t exactly the friendly type, so it’s possible we may be accused of trespassing.”
“Wha- why are you smiling!? That doesn’t seem like the sort of thing to smile about!” Levi shook his head, scooting his way anxiously toward Heart to mimic Storm’s act of receiving comfort. He gripped Heart’s entire arm tightly, accidentally yanking them toward him.
Ignoring Levi’s anxiety, Solomon began his incantation. A strong wind began to circle the sigil he had drawn on the ground as everyone stepped inside of it.
“I am the magician Solomon, Heed my words! Open the way forward, creating a path where there was none!”
“Wait, Solomon! Whaddaya mean we’ll be accused of trespassing!” Mammon shouted over the wind as it picked up speed, causing everyones hair to whip back and forth.
Again, ignoring the brothers, Solomon continued: “Show us the way to the reaper’s cave!”
A bright white light blinded everyone in the circle before the group disappeared from the castle ballroom, leaving only trails of chalk dust and stands of Storm’s vibrant red hair in their wake.
Barbatos sighed, glad the chaos that was caused by the brothers was now finally over. He turned his attention back to the other two humans, only to be caught completely off guard by the brooms laying haphazardly amongst the broken glass and bits of food strewn about the floor. He snapped his eyes up to Simeon, his eyelid twitching in annoyance.
“They asked me not to say anything.” Simeon chuckled. “Don’t worry, we’ll get this place cleaned up.”
“You’d better.” Barbatos hissed, now turning his attention back to Diavolo.
Luke groaned in frustration. “Simeon! We have to do this all ourselves?!”
Simeon merely smiled, returning his focus to sweeping. He hummed as Luke groaned again, louder this time.
“G’AAAHHHH!” Mammon yelped, collapsing onto the ground first. Most of the rest of the group fell from the portal that opened a fair distance above the ground in a plethora of screams and yelps. Each landed clumsily around Mammon, who slowly tried to get back up to his feet.
Storm had tried her best to land gracefully, but the amount of others cascading down out of the portal ended up throwing off her rhythm. Fern grabbed her ankle as they fell through after her, causing her to land directly on top of Mammon.
“G’URGH!” He spat out as Storm’s weight sent him flat onto his back. “H-hey! Get Offa’ me!”
“Fuck, sorry!” Storm scrambled off of him quickly before helping him up and dusting off his jacket. “Are you okay, Mams?”
“Acgh...No! What’re ya thinkin’, Red?!” He groaned, clutching his abdomen. “Seriously, how’d ya manage to land knee-first on my stomach!? I’m gonna end up dead before I even have the chance to meet the reaper at this rate!”
Storm shifted anxiously. “I-I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to-”
“Solomon, why the fuck did you put the portal so high!” Fern groaned, stretching out their back from the painful landing they had. Unfortunately for them, a very angry Vivi had been their cushion as they fell to the ground.
“Fern, I’m gonna fucking kill you.” Vivi growled as Satan tried to help her to her feet.
"Hup!” Solomon brushed off his cape as he landed on the ground perfectly. “I couldn’t ask for a better landing!”
Lucifer was the last to Land from the portal, surprised to see how many of the individuals had not learned that portals can be tricky to maneuver through. What also caught his attention was three extra humans who shouldn’t be here.
“You’ve got to be kidding me.” Lucifer pinched the bridge of his nose, the pounding in his head only worsening from the fact that this trip was clearly shaping up to be worse than he anticipated.
“I forgot to mention that you should watch where you land whenever you transport somewhere.” Solomon chuckled, helping a few of the others to their feet.
“T-thanks for the tip.” Heart groaned as Levi finally rolled off of him.
“It’s a little late to be warning us NOW!” Levi whined, rubbing his lower back with a wince.
“Hey...Solomon..?” Asmo whimpered nervously. Solomon and the others who now stood turned to him as he pointed at a message scrawled above the entrance to the cave.
“Is...Is that blood?!” Sarah shrieked, immediately hiding behind Vivi for protection. Vivi hissed, pushing Sarah away aggressively and scooting closer toward Satan.
“Attention Solomon, you damned pest of a magician...” Satan cocked his head trying to read the messy chicken scratch. “Just TRY sneaking into my cave while I’m gone, and I promise I’ll make you pay. I’ll take your candle and trample it, boil it, and chop it into a million pieces. Then your soul will be MINE, you bone-headed fool!”
“Ahaha! You have to admit, that’s pretty funny!” Solomon laughed as the others glanced amongst each other in confusion.
“Uh, no...That’s definitely not what I’d call funny.” Levi shook his head. “Anyway, if this reaper wrote a nasty message specifically directed at you, then...”
“Solomon...what did you do?” Storm scratched her forearm nervously.
“Hmm...nothing I can think of off-hand.” Solomon tapped his chin for a moment before eventually shrugging. “Anyways, lets head in!”
“Whoa, hold on a second!” Mammon spread out his arms, blocking Solomon’s way. “You see a message like that and you’re just gonna ignore it? Are ya crazy!?”
“Well, the reaper’s not here, right?” Belphie shrugged. “So that means we can go in, find Beel’s candle, and leave. Easy.”
“Oh, wait! I almost forgot.” Solomon grabbed Belphie’s sleeve, signaling for the others to pause. “There’s something else you all should know. Here in the reaper’s cave, there are certain rules that must be followed. Otherwise, you may end up dead before you even make it to the candles.”
“What?!” Mammon shrieked, feeling a shiver run up his spine.
Storm bit her lip to keep it from trembling, now digging her nails deep into her skin. She felt so much anxiety rise at the idea of another one of her close friends- or rather, family- falling victim to the reapers wrath. Perhaps she made a mistake in insisting they all come with. The anxiety coursing through her veins caused her breath to pick up, almost causing her to dry-heave. Beel watched as she desperately tried to hide he growing panic from the others.
“Storm.” Lucifer placed a hand gently on her back, murmuring to her quietly. “It’ll be alright, just relax.”
She whipped her gaze up to him. The soft look in Lucifer’s eyes and the tickle of his thumb rubbing against her shoulder blade allowed her to calm down ever-so slightly. She took a deep breath as Lucifer turned his attention back toward Solomon.
“What are the rules, then?”
“Yeah, and if we don’t follow ‘em..? I mean, c’mon, ya gotta be exaggeratin’ right?” Mammon added.
“I wish I were, but no.” Solomon crossed his arms. “Now listen up. The reaper’s cave consists of 5 levels, each one deeper than before. And each level has its own specific rule, which the reaper has determined. If you break a rule, you get punished.”
“Sounds soo dangerous.” Vivi rolled their eyes, their tone dripping with sarcasm. “So, then we follow the rules. What’s so hard about that?”
“The rules here are absolute. You have to obey them, no exceptions.” Solomon raised a brow toward Vivi, who still looked disinterested. “So before we go in, you all have to agree to follow the rules exactly.”
“Wait. I don’t want to put Storm and the other humans in a dangerous situation like this...” Beel glanced uncertainly toward where Storm stood at Lucifer’s side, feeling unnerved by the fact that she had panicked before even stepping foot in the cave. “Maybe you should take her and the others home.”
“We’re not leaving.” Belphie shook his head.
“But-”
“I’ll be fine.” Storm breathed deeply, catching Beel’s eye. “I have you all here with me. I’ll...I’ll be okay.”
“Exactly!” Asmo beamed. “Besides, Storm isn’t an ordinary human. She’s got enough power to subdue all of us just by yelling “sit” and “stay,” right?!”
Lucifer tightened his hold on her back. “That is correct, yes. And the other humans here can follow her lead just as easily. So we’ll be fine. Solomon, lead the way.”
“I see...” He smiled, but beneath it showed uncertainty. “It’s good to see such glowing support amongst friends-”
“Family.” Beel corrected, moving to stand beside Storm and grabbing her hand.
“Yes...Family.” Solomon swallowed hard. “Well then, alright. Ready to get going?”
The group nodded amongst themselves, straightening their posture to follow Solomon into the cave. Solomon’s demeanor changed as he turned to face the cave.
“Alright! Lets face the reapers’ challenge!” He chuckled to himself, a slight bounce in his step as he eagerly entered the dark cavern.
“...He sounds like a child at an amusement park.” Lucifer mumbled, shaking his head and beginning to follow the group into the cave.
“You took the words right out of my mouth.” Asmo sighed, taking Heart’s hand in his.

A thin line of table salt adorned the floor in front of your bedroom. You stood behind it and stared at the demons outside of your doorway. They were staring at the salt.
Leviathan laughed. It reminded him of a low-level defense from a tower defense game. "Is that supposed to keep us out? lol."
"Yeah. I think it's working," you said.
Satan put a hand on his hip. As far as he could tell, it was plain old table salt. No magical properties whatsoever. "How so?"
"Well, none of you are crossing it. Clearly, it's having some kind of effect."
Mammon balked. "Obviously, it's because we're respectin' your privacy!" He stood closest to the line, wanting to cross it most of all.
"You're respecting my privacy by... standing right outside my door?"
Mammon opened his mouth to counter, only to come up with nothing. He stood there with his fists clenched. The feather on his belt swayed as he tapped a foot impatiently, causing the nearest salt to shift a little.
The noise annoyed Asmodeus. "Mammon, go walk through the salt."
"Why me!?"
"This is ridiculous." Lucifer crossed his arms. "Clean this up. I don't even want to know how this will damage the floors if you leave it."
"It's not even doing anything," Satan pointed out.
"If it's not doing anything, then one of you should cross it," you suggested.
"Why don't you come out to us?" Belphegor proposed. "There's only one of you, seems more fair."
"Yeah!" Asmodeus took a step away from the salt, careful not to get any on his shoes, and raised his hands. "You can run into my arms if you'd like. I'll be sure to catch you."
Their stubbornness astounded you. "Or... You guys can just admit you don't want to cross this salt."
"It's regular salt." Beelzebub knew exactly what the substance was as soon as he laid eyes on it. Plus, the smell was unmistakable. His claim was irrefutable.
"Yes, exactly. Thank you, Beel. I've seen you eat it many times." You had even taken the bag from the shared kitchen.
"Did you try walking over it?" Leviathan asked. "How are we supposed to cross it if you won't?"
"I don't need to. I'm in my room."
"You should come to our room," Belphegor offered. He was getting tired of standing around.
"Come out this instant," Lucifer ordered.
You thought about it for a whopping two seconds. "I think I'm good. I'll be in my room. If any of you need me, feel free to come in."
You retreated back inside with the rest of the half-empty salt bag. The brothers stared at you with a mix of impatience and disbelief until the wall blocked you from view.

Why do I even share my male MCs? Especially since I'm not writing fanfiction about them.
Nobody cares, right?
Well, a few of you do. Surprisingly.
In addition to it being about personal stress relief (because coming up with three boyfriends for Diavolo is therapy), it's also to prove how Obey Me is for everyone. The creators themselves said so.
Whether your MC is a girl, a guy, both genders or no gender at all, the characters will love them.
Your MC can be Julie or Jack. Lucifer and the brothers will still love them.
Obey Me is for everyone. Whether you're playing the OG, Nightbringer, or even if you just watch the anime, the boys are for everyone.

Any other obey me fans like to do whump with their OCS and have the caretaker be one of the obey me characters.
To info dump my plans with this...
Whumpee
Quinton (He/She/They/It)
Whumper
Aster
Caretakers
Solomon
Asmodeus
The story is that Quinton...
Has a background of horrible parents, then grew up in a cult and got trafficked.
She then meets Aster when she's in college and eighteen years old. Aster grooms him into a cult and further gets him trafficked by triggering their hypersexuality and convincing him to do sex work as she sees it as helping him get over their trauma.
Aster also beats them but claims it's normal for relationships and Quinton doesn't know any better.
Quinton eventually at 20 meets Asmodeus who befriends them and then eventually they learn about normalcy.
Eventually Asmodeus saves her and they end up in a relationship and Asmodeus is her caretaker as well as later Solomon

5 Sides of Human
{Part Twenty-Five}
Genre: Mixed WC: ~3.5k CW: mentions of blood, swearing, Storm has a stutter but I am not depicting it with written word consistently, prolly lots of typos lol, spoilers for season 1&2, I'm skipping over/changing some things I didn't like in the main story so it will be a bit different from canon! Series Masterlist
"Whattaya mean, like someone cast a protection spell on us or somethin'? Couldn't they have at least made it so we didn't turn inta this?" Mammon huffed in frustration.
Solomon grinned, casting another sly glance toward Storm. "Well, I don't think it would have been that easy. Besides, I'm sure you'll figure out who the kind soul who decided your lives were worth protecting is soon enough."
"Regardless, we should keep the idle chit-chat to a minimum and continue going through the levels." Lucifer sighed, looking around the room for another message.
The others shrugged, breaking off into groups to search the room they now found themselves in. Beel, Lucifer, Mammon, and Storm began wandering off to where the room began to narrow, while the others remained in the larger open area. It was eerily quiet for a moment, before Asmo broke the uncomfortable silence.
"Solomon, tell us more about the reaper. I mean, living in a place like this and coming up with all these rules...The longer we stay here, the more curious I am!"
"Hmm..." Solomon shrugged, turning from the bookshelf he had been analyzing closely. "Well, In a nutshell, I'd say that my reaper friend is a little on the unusual side."
"Even more than these idiots?" Vivi tilted her head in a gesture toward where a few of the brothers searched under some furniture.
"Hahaha! Well, we've known each other for over a thousand years now, but there's still so many things about them that I don't know."
"Whoa whoa...wait a minute..." Heart snapped his attention toward the sorcerer. "Did you just say a thousand??"
"Yeah, how old are you, Solomon?" Sarah asked pointedly, eyeing him up and down.
"Easy now, haha! Long ago, there was a time when I devoted myself to researching new forms of magic, but one day I made a...small error, I suppose. And as a result, I can never grow old or die naturally." Solomon shrugged. "So, I've lived for thousands of years looking exactly as I do now."
"Hold up, so you're actually just some crusty old man!?" Fern scrunched up their face. "What the fuck, dude!"
"An old man?!" Solomon winced, insulted by their words. "I'd like to think I keep myself appearing very young..."
"Well all of this isn't news to us. I mean, me and Solomon have known each other for so long now, You should have realized that he wasn't just some ordinary human!" Asmo giggled, strolling over to Solomon and gripping his arm tightly. "But I guess it makes sense why y'all didn't know all this stuff. You just met him a few weeks ago."
"I would say Solomon is more than just an unusual human." Belphie shrugged. "He's much different than any of you guys, or Storm. And he has so many pacts that he's probably closer to a demon than a human at this point."
"Hey now." Solomon's eye twitched in what appeared to be annoyance. "I'm just as human as any of them. I'm just...unique."
"Will you all quit fooling around?" Lucifer's sudden harsh tone caused nearly everyone to jump.
"Yeah, we found the doorway to the next level, so if y'all're done gabbin' ya can come this way!" Mammon added, crossing hims arm's triumphantly.
"Alright, alright. We're coming." Heart rolled their eyes, taking Asmo's hands and following Mammon out of the room. Vivi knelt down briefly, noticing her shoes had been unlaced during the ruckus of the previous rooms. As she finished tightly tying the strings, she noticed Solomon also lagging behind the others. Quickly, he grabbed a book off of the shelf he had been hovering near and stuffed it in the pocket of his jacket.
"Hey, what did you just take?" Vivi stood, narrowing her eyes at him.
"Who, me?" Solomon smiled, shaking his head. "I didn't take anything. Maybe it just looked like I did from where you were standing."
Vivi sighed. "Whatever it was, it better not get us into any more trouble, or I'll be joining your 'friend' in beating your ass."
Solomon chuckled, walking straight past Vivi to catch up with the others. Vivi scoffed, following behind him to get though to the next room. She bumped into Fern as she walked through the door, already annoyed at the congested pileup at the entrance.
In large letters on the wall, scrawled out in blood, read "NO TALKING." The group looked amongst each other uncertainly, not knowing what the challenge of this room to try to get them to talk would be. The place they found themselves now appeared to be a long hallway, lined with suits of armor. Each figure held a long pole axe, as if in warning to those entering. Many doors lined the hall, and it would take hours to try to figure which lead out of this level and into the next.
Storm narrowed her eyes, assessing each of the doors in her field of vision. Each of them had a mark on them that almost looked like a scratch. Each was unique in color, size, and angle, but they all shared the same semi-straight formation. Well, all but one. Storm's eyes zeroed in on the distinguished door- one that had no markings at all near the end of the hall of doors. After a moment of pause, Storm turned to the puzzled group, gesturing with a tilt of her head to follow. The others hesitated for a moment, but followed after her to see what it was she was confidently chasing after.
"You know, I've been thinking..." Satan wondered aloud, glancing up to the cathedral-like ceiling above them. Before he could continue his statement, Levi wrapped his tail around Satan's pudgy head, muffling his words against the thick scales of his tail. Annoyed, Satan bit down, causing Levi to yelp loudly in pain.
"You realize the three of us have already been punished for breaking the rules, right? Even if we break another, we wont be penalized any more than we already have."
"So...that means we can talk?" Levi squeaked the words out, glancing around to the suits of armor nervously.
"I've already done it and nothing happened, so...yes."
"WOOOHOOO!" Mammon screeched loudly, barreling down the hallway past Storm.
Lucifer rolled his eyes. They seem to never shut up, even under consequences like this.
Mammon grinned as he began walking backwards, now facing Storm. "I bet your jealous, huh?"
Storm raised an eyebrow before shaking her head.
"I mean, I'd rather have the option to be quiet and stay looking like I did before than be a little D." Levi sighed, prancing up next to Storm's side. "So, are you thinking you know the way to the next level?"
Storm nodded with a smile, pointing to the unmarked door she was heading toward.
"Nah, that's clearly wrong." Mammon shook his head, bounding to a door just a few feet away from them. "Look at this one! The mark on it is big and yellow and more scraggly than the others! Clearly this is the right way to go!"
Before Storm could react, Mammon pushed the door open aggressively, revealing a ginormous boutique-looking room, covered wall-to-wall in clothing, bags, and accessories.
Satan's eyes widened. "Hey! Someone cover Asmo's mouth before he-"
"EEEEEEEEEEEE! Look at all these cute clothes!" Asmo squealed, stars in his eyes as he looked around the room.
"...Looks like I was too late."
"Oh my gosh, there's so much here that I like!!!" Asmo squawked, immediately shoving past Vivi to get to the clothing, sending her careening toward the ground.
"Asmo, You're gonna pay for that!!" Vivi roared, immediately rolling to her feet and bolting toward him. Before she could get to him, a bright light flashed from where both of them stood, blinding everyone else.
"Uh..oh..." Mammon gulped, backing out of the room slowly as the light dimmed and the figures that used to be Asmo and Vivi came into focus.
"Oh, this dress is so adorable!" The small pudgy demon gleefully smoothed the fabric between his spindly fingers. "It would look so cute on- AGUGh!"
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't rip you limb from limb, you narcissistic bimbo!" the small beast- who they all assumed to be Vivi- screamed, now having Asmo pinned against them in a headlock. Unlike the brothers, Vivi hadn't turned into a small, pudgy demon. Instead, they turned into a tiny purple and black sheep of the same size. Curled horns peaked out from her spongey coat, and the small muscles in her arms twitched as she tightened her hold on Asmo's neck.
"L-let go! My precious skin will be ruined if you sq-squeeze too tight!" Asmo choked, trying to wriggle his way out of her grip.
Satan pressed his lips together to try to stifle a laugh, but couldnt help the snort that released through his mouth. Vivi snapped her attention toward him, dropping Asmo to the ground instantly. She ran towards him, sliding backwards on the ground. With a buck of her back legs, she kicked him full-force with her hooves. Satan's tiny body flew out of the room with the force of her kick, causing the others to duck out of the way to avoid being hit.
Beel frowned, picking at his fingers nervously. As if able to hear his thoughts, Belphie came up beside him and patted his back in an attempt to comfort him. Vivi huffed, storming out of the room to diffuse her anger.
Storm glanced uncertainly toward Solomon, who covered his mouth to keep from laughing. She made a mental note to ask later about the cure for these curses, but now returned her focus to opening the correct door. The others followed as Lucifer attempted to wrangle Vivi, who was kicking around suits of armor and yelling at Satan.
As Storm predicted, the door lead to the next level. They all stepped into a hall with hundreds of stools sitting tucked under long tables. Another large message lined the walls above tapped barrels, which Storm assumed to be some sort of alcohol. The message was even larger than the last, and seemed to be more haphazardly scrawled out than the other messages they've seen:
DO NOT EAT.
"If we make it through level 4, we'll be at the chamber with the candles. Just a little further!"
Just as the words left Solomon's mouth, the room went dark. When the light to the room returned, the tables became lined with a plethora of different foods and drinks. It was as if the reaper was enticing the tired and hungry group to partake of the feast, though they all knew what the consequences of eating this food would be.
"Oh my lord...I can't believe we have to deal with this now!" Fern groaned as their stomach grumbled. "After we've come all this way!"
"Do not eat...it says Do not eat...that's what it says..." Beel stared between the message and the feast, drool forming heavily behind his lips.
"Beel...You can do this!" Storm tried to reassure him, rubbing his arm gently. He just stared on, completely transfixed on the buffet before him that he was being told to ignore.
"It's no use..." Belphie groaned.
"Hey, this reaper friend of yours...they don't have a cerberus-sized pet, right? I keep hearing this...growling?" Asmo glanced around, hopping to try to see over the tables.
"I'd say it sounds more like thunder." Heart looked toward the ceiling, trying to see if the chandeliers were shaking with the force of the noise.
"Nah, that's Beel's stomach growlin'..." Mammon shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest. "I have a bad feelin' about what's about to happen..."
Beel closed his eyes, taking a deep breath. After a short moment, he opened his eyes and turned away from the food. "Lets go."
Belphie blinked in utter disbelief. "wha- huh?"
"We're almost to the chamber with the candles, right?" Beel swallowed his saliva, trying to quell the growing hunger pains in his stomach. "So...lets get moving."
"I...I don't believe it..." Belphie's eyes were wide as he stared at his twin. "Beel...Y-you're actually resisting the temptation to eat...How..."
"He probably cant resist it for long, so lets go already!" Mammon pushed past them, moving in the direction of an archway in the back of the room. The others followed behind quickly, each glancing toward Beel nervously as they walked through the winding dining halls- each one displaying a more elaborate feast than the last.
Beel mumbled to himself as they moved, listing off the various foods he saw displayed on the plates before him. Storm and Belphie stood on either side of him, squeezing his hands to reassure him they were here.
"We need to get his mind off the food." Belphie nervously glanced toward Beel's line of sight, seeing his second favorite dish piled on top of a serving platter. Droll pooled out of his mouth as Beel tried to breathe deeply, dripping down his chin and onto his shirt.
"Uh...I...I'm pretty sure Solomon made all this food, Beel!" Sarah shouted suddenly, causing Belphie to feel a shudder run up his spine.
"Yeah, and I betcha Fern helped!" Mammon added with a snort.
"Hey! Fuck you!" Fern knitted their brows together as they kicked Mammon hard, square in the ass. He yelped and ran toward Storm's legs. He turned and scowled at them as he held onto her pant leg, trying to stay as far away from Fern as possible.
"Hey, look! There's a door!" Heart pointed to the right, where a large double door was situated. A big red arrow was painted on the door, as if to signal they were headed in the right direction.
Belphie sighed in relief and ran toward the door. "I bet the candles are right through-"
His words died on his tongue when the doors creaked open, displaying another dining room. This time though, the tables were lined with various types of burgers- what they all knew to be Beel's favorite food. They all turned to the second youngest, nervous to see how he would respond.
"B-beel, the color has drained from your face..." Storm commented, squeezing his overly-sweating hand to try to get him to look at her. "Are you okay?"
Beel stayed silent, eyes wide and staring at the steaming plates before him.
"I don't think I've ever seen Beel fight off the urge to eat like this before..." Belphie shook his head, squeezing Beel's other hand. "I have no idea how he's able to do this..."
"Well, if ya ask me, it's about damn time he learned to keep that stomach of his in check." Mammon rolled his eyes. "I mean, he's always eatin'. Like a giant pig!"
"Shut up, Mammon." Vivi hissed, mimicking a punch of one fist to an open palm with her hooves. Mammon gulped, now skirting his way between Storm's legs for extra protection.
"Pig...pig...pig roast." Beel moaned, suddenly snatching Mammon up into his hands.
"Whoa...What- HEY! OW!!" Mammon yelled as Beelzebub bit into his back. "Quit bitin' me! I ain't food, dammit!"
"Beel! Stop trying to eat Mammon!" Storm gasped, moving to pry Mammon out of Beel's hands.
Lucifer's eyes widened in fear and he quickly snatched Storm's arms away, just before Beel snapped his jaws toward her. "Don't try to get your hands in there, Storm."
She nodded nervously, watching Mammon writhe in Beels hands.
"D'AAAH! He's gonn a eat me alive!!! Do something!" Mammon screamed
"Actually, he's just gnawing on him a little. As long as he doesn't bite off actual chunks, it should be okay." Belphie shrugged.
"And it might help keep his mind off of eating the food here." Sarah added, giggling as Beel bit down harder on Mammon's pudgy back.
"AHHH! IT'S NOT OKAY!!" Mammon shouted, finally freeing himself from Beel's grasp and leaping into Storm's arms. She caught him roughly, only being held up by Lucifer's support. She felt him stumble slightly as her body backed into his, thankful that he was there to keep her from falling. Lucifer grunted as he tried to straighten himself, clearly in pain from the impact.
"I can't take this anymore!" Beel whimpered, clutching his stomach hard. "If I try to hold back any more, I might hurt one of you!"
"Might!?" Mammon whined, rubbing the spots on his back where Beel's fangs punctured the skin. "We're already there, pal!"
Beel squeezed his eyes shut, growling loudly. "I'm sorry, I have to-"
Suddenly, a bright flash of light erupted from behind him, causing everyone to freeze in shock. After the light faded, a small little D with a spiney tail with fluff-like tip, curled ram horns, and glistening violet eyes blinked at them from a chair near one of the tables. In his hand, he held a half-eaten burger.
"Huh...so this is what it feels like to be a little D?" Belphie shrugged, tossing the burger aside. "You know, it's not really as bad as I thought."
"Exactly! Now you're one of us, Belphie!" Levi laughed.
Belphie scrunched up his face. "Ugh. No thanks. I don't mind being a little D, but I've got no interest in being 'one of you,' Levi."
Levi let out a yell, mimicking the action of a sword being thrust through his chest. "Belphie scores a critical hit, Leviathan takes 4500 damage!"
"Cringy." Heart giggled, shaking their head.
"Bel...Belphie?" Beel blinked back his surprise, his lips down-turned in an intense frown. "Wh...why would you...This is all my fault."
"It's not your fault, Beel." Belphie hopped down off of the chair, stretching his back.
"You only ate that because it looked like I was about to give into the temptation and eat it myself though."
"Yeah, well...I understand how hard that is...Believe me. Which is why I didn't want to watch you having to endure it. Like, if I had to stave off the urge to sleep, I'm sure I would have felt the same."
"You hung in really well, Beel." Storm smiled sympathetically, patting his arm.
"Plus, the reaper already has an axe to grind with you. If you were to break one of the rules, who knows what would happen to you?" Fern shuddered, not wanting to think of the other potential outcomes.
"So...It's no big deal at all if I turn into a little D. We can figure out a fix for this later." Belphie hugged Beel's leg, smiling up at him.
Beel sniffled as tears began running down his face. He snatched Belphie up, hugging him as tight as he physically could.
"Ack! Beel...I-I appreciate the hug, but not so t-tight! You're suffocating me!" Belphie choked, trying hard to wriggle his way loose to get some air into his lungs.
"Something wrong, Lucifer?" Solomon tilted his head at the oldest brother, who seemed to be holding his balance against one of the chairs. "You're looking...well, you're looking sort of pale?"
"It's..." Lucifer's eyes fluttered closed for a moment before he sighed. "My head hurts."
Storm turned to him, concern painted all over her face. She set Mammon down gently and reached up toward Lucifer's brow, carefully smoothing over his temple. "Another migraine? They seem to be getting worse lately."
"They're usually triggered by the stress of dealing with the problems your brothers though, right?" Solomon smirked as Lucifer ceased waving away Storm's concerned doting, glaring at the sorcerer.
"How did you know that?"
"Well, what do you expect?" Solomon chuckled. "When there's a demon I'm hoping to make a pact with, I make an point to observe him at all times."
Lucifer grimaced. "Well, stop it."
Solomon smirked in response to Lucifers annoyance as he again swatted Storm's hands away.
"In any case, yes...this headache seems to be worse than the ones I usually have...but it's nothing to be concerned about since we're almost at the fifth level. I will just rest when we get home and all will be well. Let's just keep going."
"Are you sure?" Storm stared at him, eyes shimmering with worry. "Maybe you should sit down for-"
"I said I'm fine." Lucifer snapped, shaking his head and moving past her.
"Well, the candle room will hopefully be right through that door." Solomon shrugged at Storm, though the look on his face seemed satisfied with Lucifer's current state. "Lets continue on, shall we?"
