like, I'm pretty sure that people have already brought this up, but Shang Qinghua and Luo Binghe have the same, "I'm just a little guy, you wouldn't hurt a little guy, would you?" pathetic, pitiful, crybaby aura (even though Binghe is a lot more selective with it lol)

and Shen Qingqiu and Mobei-Jun are icy beauty, rich, dense, spoiled brats that both go insane over (1) pitiful hamster man (for different reasons, but still)

need arthur repealing the magic ban bc its the Right Thing To Do and merlin is ecstatic bc finally finally he can be himself and tell arthur the truth. he can stop lying and hiding!! and the the ban is repealed and magic is free and theres a feast held in celebration and merlin lugs arthur to his chambers since the king had a bit too much wine and the night is warm and golden and steeped with happiness. merlin lays arthur down in bed and arthur looks up at him with half-lidded eyes, glazed over and warm and filled with love, and he says some sappy shit about merlin being a good friend and how loyal he is.

merlin isnt sure why his words make a stone settle in his stomach but he brushes it off and goes to bed, telling himself that he’ll tell arthur everything in the morning. then morning comes around and merlin sits at the table while arthur is eating breakfast and opens his mouth to tell him when his throat closes up and no words escape him. arthur is confused but merlin distracts him by insulting him and postpones the conversation. he’s been hiding for years, maybe he just needs to take it slow, take baby steps, let his mind and body get used to the idea of being free first.

merlin waits another week and a half before trying again. same result. the words wont come out and he’s choking on this secret he thought he could fess up to now and it takes him so long to realize he’s terrified. he isn’t sure why bc helloooo the ban is lifted!! he won’t be put to death!! what’s the problem?? he had an easier time confessing to sorcery to uther when such a thing was still punishable by death. why is it so hard to tell his best friend the truth when he won’t be punished for it??

answer: telling arthur the truth would mean telling him how merlin has lied for years and how arthur has never truly known the man he calls his friend. arthur will be hurt and angry and he’ll feel betrayed and that is something merlin has seen time and time again and he has fought so hard to prevent yet here he is about to put the same expression on his face. he’s about to break arthur’s heart once more. he can’t do it. he has to. he’ll hurt him. it gets worse the longer merlin takes. arthur will hate him. oh gods arthur will hate him.

I think it's neat if there's some Viltrumite weirdness, so obligatory sharper teeth + the weird glow affect you can see some animals' eyes. Another Hc I love is that Shoto loses control over his quirk when he’s flustered!! Like most people probably think he’s this nonchalant, aloof guy who never gets flustered/nervous.

But when he’s close to izuku??? You better believe he catches on fire, and the smoke alarm goes of all the time when midoriya’s in the vicinity. And midoriya’s completely oblivious to the actual reason why he’s always catching on fire and is worriedly trying to put the fire out. Which is making him even more flustered

So Anakin can sence the emotions even jedi masters are releasing into the Force.

(Imagine how intrusive that is? Even when you are being a jedi the correct way and releasing your emotions other (powerful) jedi can still sense what you were releasing and judge your character on that).

Ok so what if part of why Anakin is convinced Obi-Wan doesn't love him is because he's never felt him release love to the Force?

Meanwhile, while Obi-Wan releases plenty of Anakin related emotions into the Force. Worry, irritation, frustration, mostly. He holds onto the love.

That's why Anakin's never felt him give it to the Force. He keeps it.

The last straw for Toriel, which lead her to divorce Asgore, was when Kris came out as enby and Asgore was so excited to support them, that he went ahead and changed their full name into something more neutral.... which, since Asgore is atrocious at naming stuff, turned out to be "Kristophine"....

They pretend "Kris" is the full name. There is no full version. Don't look in the documents.

Thinking about the dynamics between the 'good' and 'bad' sides in renegade nell.

Sofia ofc is obsessed with catching Nell, which starts as a quick action to cover for Thomas but then kind of spins out of control into a full obsession with finding her and killing her. Poynton is curious about Nell but only really in a way of trying to figure out how best he could use her to his advantage, either through figuring out how she got her strength or through Sofias obsession with her.

Meanwhile, Nell outwardly doesn't really give a shit about them throughout the show. Her focus is pretty only on keeping her sisters safe and finding out how to get past this whole bounty issue. Its a safe bet she hates Thomas, yknow on the whole account of him killing her father thing and then framing her for murder. Queen of repressed feelings honestly cause she doesn't really address it during the show, she hasn't got time to.

She does get to rant about Sofia though!! Though I get the impression she more just finds Sofia a nuisance. A big nuisance, on the account of trying to kill her with magic and all that, but its fustration she shows outwardly not hate. And I don't think Nell is really aware of Poynton until they figure out theres a plot against the Queen, literally meeting him for the first time as she tries to kill him. Nell even readily works with Sofia at the end, being really civil and almost nice all things considered.

Nell is the root of their problems, but the root of Nell's problems is just the whole system.

And then coupling this with the flip side, where Charles and Polly are infatuated with her. So many people have a lot of big feelings about Nell and she is just trying her best to sideline them for more important things. Like not being captured and protecting her family.

I would have loved to see how these dynamics would have changed in season 2 though. You could definitely feel Nell's feelings about Sofia switch from neutral annoyance to proper hatred in those last few scenes. Ahhhh
