I checked "buy me a coffee" website, and a lot of it seems clean except their linkedin page does not exist, thier facebook page last interaction is some saying they are a scammer because they have been contacting help center for months and never got any answer despite getting orders, and the website is OBVIOUSLY based on ko-fi and trying to be ko-fi without being kofi. Same thing for the donatefundme / gofundme link. Either this is a real person beign scammed by two donating websites or they are part of the scam themself. They also sent dozens if not hundreds of the exact same ask, so yeah, likely a scam.

I feel like people are trying to analyze Harry's career as it happens and comparing it to Niall and Liam's and it's... completely different. 1. Harry is going to still promote SOTT and HS1 by the beginning of next year with all the awards ceremonies. SOTT is already at 1M in the US and 3M worldwide. It'll probably end up double Platinum US, Platinum UK and with a Grammy nom/win (for rock), a BRIT award, an ARIA award, etc. That and having it charting at #4 makes it an outstanding success. (1)

Especially considering there was a very short promo span and no discounts or payola (on Spotify OR radio). It was an absolutely organic successful solo song. Considering Harry is touring HS1 again until summer next year, it’s probably gonna wind up Platinum or multi Platinum, with several nominations as well. Radio success with rock is quite hard to get, but still SOTT got to be #11 in overall US radio and #1 in European radios (for weeks!!!). SOTT’s video is VEVO certified and was nominated (2)

Two VMAs. Two Ghosts was just biding time until Kiwi, imo. We’ll see if I’m right when Kiwi promo starts, but I think it was just to have something of his on the radio and an excuse for him to do a couple of TV appearances between Dunkirk promo and Kiwi promo. There are articles about his tour, but people would have to seek them out to actually read about him. All tour things are mostly just for the fandom. So, yeah, I don’t think they were ever planning on having Two Ghosts as this huge (3)

single at all. They never did any promo for it and the video was just rehashing footage fans had already seen of him playing live, which with a chill song isn’t that exciting (unless it’s acoustic, which this wasn’t). I don’t think Harry even tweeted about Two Ghosts. Compare that to his promotion of SOTT. Columbia isn’t dumb. If they wanted a huge single, they could’ve done it. I don’t think it’s a flop in the slightest. A flop would be if he had tried and failed, but he didn’t try. (4)

Because that was never the purpose of the song. I do think he’ll do something similar to SOTT with Kiwi. He has the VSFS performance scheduled for around the time of release (a month after radio impact) and he’ll probably be in the X Factor around that time as well. He has the cancer relief concert as well around that time. I expect him to do Fallon, maybe Jingle Bell Ball or some other festival. Kiwi will probably have a banging video. And then he’ll have the BBC Special as well. (5)

Anyway, my point is that HSHQ clearly knows what they’re doing. They want Harry to have a long lasting career, not to be a flash in the pan. Lots of artists have number one singles on radio or drift around the 20s in the charts for months but that doesn’t necessarily mean success. Look at Liam, he got Platinum in the UK but his sales are way lower than Harry’s. Why? Because his Platinum was mostly driven by streams, which he got by being in Spotify lists, which his label paid for. (6)

And while that is a completely valid way of making yourself known, Harry has no need to do that. He can do quality promo that will give him the same results than Niall and Liam going to every single radio station in America. SOTT had Platinum numbers in America after 96 days, which is the exact same amount of time that it took Niall to get Platinum numbers, except Niall had the song on discount for two and a half months by that point. I’m not saying one of them is more successful than the (7)

Other AT ALL, which is the mistake lots of fans make. They have different types of success and all of them are great. Just because Harry didn’t get a radio #1 or didn’t stay in the charts for five months (he stayed for three and a half, so not that bad either lmao) it doesn’t mean that Liam and Niall were more successful. Harry was more successful in other areas and it took him way less effort to get there than Liam and Niall. People need to learn to stop comparing things that aren’t (8)

Rich people usually have rich parents. We thought this was false, but looking into it we found out it's in fact true. The uncomfortable truth is that it is much easier to be rich when you have rich parents, due to things like inheritance and property inheritance. Let's make poverty a thing of the past! Encourage people to install an add blocker and go outside more, going outside is expensive so I think this could be an argument for a basic income. Sounds like poor people don't have enough time to cook for themselves, probably because many of them are working 2-3 jobs. Again a basic income would empower poeple to drop one of their side jobs, and use that time to cook their own meals. Bonus, there are now more jobs available so unemployment goes down! Again, a basic income would help the poor buy new clothes, rather than those on sale. I'm starting to think this whole video is a propaganda piece for basic income. This is part of a cycle caused by stress, where financial insecurity causes stress, which leads to poor sleep, and a disrupted sleep cycle makes sleeping at regular times more difficult. Can also make people more unacceptable to illness. Another argument for a basic income, as well as public healthcare. Sports are expensive to go out and do, so while poor it makes sense if you're into a sport to stay home and watch it. With a basic income people could more readily go out and do the sports they love. This stems from disrupted sleep cycles, and working too many jobs. Basic income. Blaming others is fair when you have been dis-empowered. This is terrible advice because for lots of poor people the only solution they have control over anymore is suicide.
