SCP-049 is literally a dangerous anomaly. He's incredibly smart, strong, 500+ y.o, serious personality. I don't like the headcanons on him, which are unresonable and are a projection of personal desires. It ruins the initial concept and meaning of the character.

Since people seem to be enjoying Yellow Lord Victorious, here's some random bits:

Mirth isn't scared of Victorious specifically, she's just a constant reminder that the Hanged King chose to replace Odious instead of remaking it. The idea that the King might do the same to Mirth if it dies terrifies it. Mirth will eventually put out a decree that no one is allowed to mention Odious ever again, and erase its own memory that Odious ever existed and that Victorious has always been the Yellow Lord, just for its own peace of mind.

Diligence and Victorious are Science Besties now. Or as close to besties as they're able to be with their temperaments. They can agree on Books Are Awesome and wanting to know everything about everything.

Anguish and the Doctor elect to stay in Alagadda, at least for now. Anguish wears a human-sized form part of the time, depending on its mood.

Odious got to feel one true moment of peace just before its mask shattered, content in the knowledge that someone hated it enough to kill it not because it was the Yellow Lord but because they hated it personally. As far as Odious was concerned, this was proof that it succeeded at being Odious.

Victorious does have an effect on Alagadda - she's not an artist. At all. She's still a scientist/engineer and is going to read every scientific/alchemical text in Alagadda before starting in with experiments of her own. Probably trying to come up with more efficient rituals to feed the King until Diligence sits her down and tries to explain that the point of rituals is tradition not efficiency, to which Victorious will argue that it should be about getting the King as full of delicious blood and emotion as possible.

While Anguish ( and the other Alagaddan powers, including Victorious ) point out that Victorious isn't West, just made from her choler and there's nothing human left, the Doctor says that West was like 90% choler on a good day so really Victorious must still be West.

It doesn't help that Victorious does remember West's life. With the exception that she can't remember how non-choleric emotions feel. So she remembers things like being angry while arguing with the Doctor, but softer memories like reading together have no emotional content, just, huh, yeah, we read books to each other sometimes.

Victorious has never been a fan of Classical music and only listened to it because Anguish and the Doctor like it. Anguish will go teach the Yellow Court how to play 80's and 90's Top 40 ( scored for strings and pipe organ ) because maybe Victorious will like it and Odious would have hated it so bad.

Weirdly enough for our local liar and manipulator, 035's attachment to Doc and West is based on the relationships being real. Like the difference between compelling everyone to clap for a performance versus being clapped for because the viewer thought it was good. It cares what they think of it.

Sometimes it hits 035 that it will never be able to show them its true form ( the big Alagaddan form I draw it in is just another mask ) or tell them its true name because both will damage their mortal, non-eldritch minds. It can never share the most basic aspects of itself with the only people it's ever wanted to open up to.

This too is a reason why the Hanged King let it go - to experience new anguishes.
