Elder Scrolls OCs

Hey all. o/ I will probably remake this down the line when some of these are more fleshed out but I thought I'd make a masterlist for all my Elder Scrolls OCs! (Using Picrews to represent them because I haven't had time to draw.) Unless notated, all characters belong in my main verse, starting with the Hero of Kvatch, Lyvia, and the ripples of her life echoing out from there.

Lyvia Summanus (Oblivion) [tag]

Lyvia Summanus is the 22 year old daughter of Imperial merchants and hails from Leyawiin. Her father moved their family there when she was very small to be closer to the chapel to Zenithar there. Lyvia was a strange child, and never quite got along with other children in the town. Her mother was always her best friend, but she has a complicated relationship with her father. One day when she was a young teen, she started to get strange dreams, which led her to the shrine to Nocturnal near the town. After retrieving Nocturnal's stolen eye, she was gifted with the Skeleton Key and became a devout follower. When her father found out, he gave her an ultimatum; give up her faith, or leave. She leaves for the Imperial City, having finally had enough. There, she ends up jailed for petty theft, and the rest as they say is history.

Fic: Feels Like Falling [tag] Ship: Martin Septim x Lyvia Summanus Important Verse Note: There will be a fixit that saves Martin's life and thus the Septims continue existing. This will be important for my Skyrim character.

Avoryn Sethri (Morrowind) [tag]

Avoryn Sethri is a huntress that lived in Cheydinhal. One day she was captured by Imperial soldiers under suspicion of poaching. Lo and behold, her papers to prove she wasn't poaching had gone missing. She spent a few days locked up before being shipped off to Morrowind, for reasons she can't even begin to comprehend. She hates it, and really just wants to go home, but as time passes, and her dreams get stranger, it becomes harder and harder to see a way for that to happen. And when she gets terribly ill, and is chosen by a Daedric Prince, and finds a cave full of her and her and her wearing different faces, she knows there's no escaping her fate. But, perhaps, she can change someone else's.

(Okay I'm a good way into Morrowind now and yeah, yeah I'm Nerevoryn trash for sure.)

Ship: Avoryn Sethri x Voryn Dagoth

Brigid Warsong (Skyrim) [tag]

Once upon a time, there was a girl born to the Septims. Not an heir, not a spare, but several children down the line of inheritance, her only 'use' was to be married in a smart political match. This girl didn't like this plan, but went along with it for the good of the Empire. While traveling, however, the girl met a kind Nord man, and, the man not knowing who he had met, they spent a night together. Only the one, and then she was gone. Soon after, the Blades received disturbing intelligence; that the Thalmor were planning a siege of the Imperial City. Before it could begin, the reigning Emperor and Empress sent their heirs from the city, each on a different path in the hopes that at least some would escape. When the girl's carriage was attacked, and her guards killed, she ran. When she found a strange portal-like door, she steps through, deciding to take her chances, and stumbles into the Shivering Isles. Sheogorath, the once-Empress and hero Lyvia Septim, sees her own blood in the girl and sees fit not to turn her away, dispatching the pursuing Thalmor and allowing the girl to hide and live in peace in New Sheoth (well, as peaceful as it ever is in New Sheoth).

Some weeks after the incident, the girl finds out she's with child, and when the baby was born, the girl asked Sheogorath to deliver it to the baby's father. She no longer wished to leave the Isles (and it's debatable if Sheogorath would even allow her to at this point, so attached has she grown), but it's no place to raise a child. And so Brigid was delivered to her father in the dead of night, at his home in Bruma. From there she was raised by him as a Nord, never knowing about her Imperial or Daedric roots. The only sign that there was anything different about her was her coal black hair, rather than the fair hair of her Nord father (and indeed also not the brown hair of a Septim).

One day, an adult Brigid returned home after a day doing work for the local Fighter's guild, only to find it set ablaze. She ran inside looking for her father, and found him, butchered on the floor of his own burning house, the family's hidden shrine to Talos desecrated and scattered across the room. Brigid dragged him out, screaming that she would kill the Thalmor for what they'd done, for who else would have done this? Of course, such a loud declaration meant that her neighbors turned their backs on her, and she had no choice but to flee Bruma. She was captured as she attempted to cross into Skyrim and taken to be executed, where she discovered that she was, indeed, Dragonborn. And, shortly after beginning her quest to stop Alduin, she starts being haunted, for lack of a better word, by a strange Daedric Prince that insists she's her great-great-granddaughter...

Ivrosa Hlaren (Oblivion) [tag]

Verse: "Forbidden HoK Verse" with @azems-familiar. Note, not the HoK in this verse.

Ivrosa is a 16 year old dunmer, the niece of the count of Cheydinhal during the time of the Oblivion Crisis. Ivrosa was always passionate about becoming a brave and gallant knight, taken in by her cousin's stories and knowing she had no desire to be a damsel in distress. To work towards this goal, she spent her days taking swordsmanship lessons, which she excelled at; she had a special talent for it, excellent combat instincts and the physical prowess to back it up. Shortly before the crisis began, her family had gone on holiday to Anvil, where she learned of the murders in the local chapel and the Prophet, who encouraged the girl to take a pilgrimage for the Nine, to gain their blessing and so defeat Umaril the Unfeathered. That night, she snuck out with her armor and sword and began her pilgrimage. When she reached her final wayshrine, located near Kvatch, she decided to rest in the town before considering her next move. That night, however, the town was attacked by daedra. During the attack, she was saved from being mauled by a scamp by a scrawny boy with brown hair and vivid blue eyes, named Aelius. Though she is quite cross about being rescued - she's the knight around here! - they become fast friends and are brought with the Hero of Kvatch, Laelia, and Martin -- turns out Aelius was their child from many years ago, and Ivrosa saw it as her duty as a 'knight' to go with the party and protect them. (And it quickly became apparent that even if they told her 'no' she would follow them anyway.) After reaching Cloud Ruler Temple, the two teens sneak out to go on their own adventure -- to reform the Knights of the Nine and defeat Umaril the Unfeathered!

Cylareth Willowbloom (Arena) [tag]

A half Bosmer, half Snow Elf scribe for the Imperial court and mage in her free time. Looks mostly Bosmer, but her hair is very light at the roots. Relative on her mother's side to Jagar Tharn, and betrayed by him when she refused to help keep his coup secret.

Frostbite masterpost!!!

INFO:

Callsign: Frostbite

Real Name: Sok Mean Sangha (Just for clarification Sok Mean is her full first name)

In-Game Description: Cambodian agent Frostbite brings a bright and positive attitude to the battlefield. With their ability to create blizzards and bend the cold to their will, they do their best to look out for their fellow agents and freeze enemies in place. When they fight, they do it with a smile.

Abilities:

C - Igloo

EQUIP to view the battlefield. FIRE to set the locations where Frostbite's clouds will settle. ALT FIRE to confirm, launching clouds that block vision in the chosen areas.

(Ehhh self explanatory theyre just smokes.)

Q - Permafrost

EQUIP a cryo orb. FIRE to throw the orb forward that detonates upon landing, causing it to expand into a lingering sheet of ice on the ground. When an enemy crosses, the ice will crack loudly, alerting players nearby and increasing vulnerability.

(Okay okay imagine Sage's slowing orb combined with Chamber's trademark. Its a thin, extremely fragile sheet of ice on the ground but when enemies walk on it alerts players where enemies are because of the sound.)

E - Icebreaker

Icebreaker - EQUIP a fragment of ice. FIRE to throw the fragment, which detonates upon landing and temporarily freezes all targets caught inside.

(Imagine Clove's molly but instead of decay it freezes targets, similar to Detaining a player but for a shorter period of time.)

X - Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland - EQUIP Frostbite's full power. FIRE to summon a blizzard. The blizzard slows and reduces the vision range of players inside of it.

(It's activated in a similar manner to Viper's ult. big ol' cloud. lotta wind and snow. it doesnt do damage but still i imagine it'd be annoying to deal with since you're constantly slowed.)

LORE:

Backstory:

A prominent part of Frostbite's life is, obviously, her powers. As useful as they are, they come at a price. Frostbite's body temperature is slightly lower than average, and a constant chill emits from her. It’s subtle, however it worsens if she’s upset. The stronger her emotions the colder. Her radiance does not give her immunity to the cold either, meaning that she could also be at risk for hypothermia.

Sok grew up in a poor family in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. She has a heavy interest in photography and wanted to pursue it as a professional career but couldn't. She never went to college either, working as a café barista instead until she was recruited by the Valorant Protocol. She was born a Radiant, and her powers manifested at a young age. The reason for this is unknown, as the rest of her family aren't Radiants.

After joining the Valorant Protocol, and gaining her callsign, Frostbite took heavy pride in her new job. She feels extremely satisfied in being able to provide money for their family back home, not minding the dangers that came with being an agent.

Relationships:

Sova: Frostbite is in a relationship with Sova (1. I can be cringe as a treat. 2. I'm gonna shamelessly plug again #SnowyOwl) She's very sweet and affectionate towards him, Sova doesn't mind this physical contact as he's used to the cold.

Chamber: Frostbite gets along with generally everyone on account of their warm attitude. However, she is particularly close with Chamber (COUGH COUGH check out their platonic ship tag #SnowRifle) because of how openly she puts her trust in him. Chamber reciprocates this as he genuinely appreciates their friendship.

Trivia/Extra:

Although Frostbite is generally kind and polite, she loves to mess with Chamber and tease him. Like a lot.

(↑ he has gotten a cold from hanging out with her once.)

The camera that Frostbite owns is specifically a Nikon 1 J1.

Frostbite is not only interested in photography, but fashion and entomology. She owns a pet millipede and keeps it in a tank in her room.

Ivan

BASIC INFO

NAME: Ivan

ALIAS: Vanya (Soul Master only), Soul Walker

SPECIES: Bark-Gnawing Beetle

AFFILIATION(S): Soul Sanctum & Its Scholars (Research Institution), Soul Master (Research partner, Lover)

BACKSTORY

• Ivan was born with deformities to his legs and arm, causing him to be wheelchair-bound from a young age.

• A brilliant mind with a passion for studying Soul and its applied uses, he joined the Soul Sanctum to pursue his research. His many papers on the attunement of extracted Soul to new living bodies caught the interest of the head of the Soul Sanctum ; the Soul Master. The pair would soon begin working on different projects and experiments together.

• They grew extremely close over the years, with their relationship becoming an open secret among Scholars of the Sanctum.

• Through trial and error the duo would create several prosthetics which were bound to their user with Soul and worked as a nearly flawless extension of their body. Once Ivan felt they had perfected the process, he underwent surgery to have his damaged limbs removed and replaced by steel and Soul prosthetics. Although the operations took a toll on his body, he was able to recover and overtime learned to use his new limbs.

• Sadly, Ivan would soon fall victim to the Infection as strands of it had inadvertently made their way into the Soul animating his new limbs. Feeling his mind breaking and his free will slipping away, he begged the Soul Master to kill him before he was completely lost to the light. He spent his last moments in the Soul Master's arms before his lover ended his life with a pair of scissors.

• The Soul Master, distraught at what he was forced to do, carried Ivan's body across the Sanctum and had it sealed in a tomb inside a hidden room next to his quarters. He would regularly visit the tomb, allowing Ivan to witness his degrading mental health and his own fall to the Infection.

• In-game, the player can find Ivan's tomb behind a breakable wall in the Soul Sanctum. If the player already has the Dream Nail they can speak with Ivan's spirit, who warns them about the Soul Master's erratic and aggressive behavior ; and confesses the many crimes the pair committed to further their research in Soul. He begs the Knight to end the Soul Master's suffering and release him from the Infection.

• After the Soul Master is defeated he will begin screaming and erratically teleporting around the arena before Ivan's spirit appears to comfort him. Ivan nods gratefully to the Knight before the pair disappear. The Soul Walker charm is left behind, which grants the player an additional soul vessel in exchange for health. Additionally, the Soul Master and Ivan can later be fought together in the Pantheon under the title of "Gods of the Sanctum".

• If the player did not speak to Ivan's spirit before the fight, the Soul Master will be defeated as normal and can later be fought again as the Soul Tyrant.

EXTRA INFO

• The first model is Ivan before receiving his prosthetics. He cannot stand and his legs and left arm are always bent.

• The second one is Ivan with prosthetics.

• Third is Ivan succumbing to the Infection.

• Fourth is Ivan's spirit, which has the same bent limbs as the first model.

BACKSTORY

Noa was born in a rural, rudimentary settlement near the Howling Cliffs, built by a small community of Maggots looking to escape a life of slavery in the heart of Hallownest. Despite the settlement being very impoverished compared to neighboring towns Noa was graced with a happy childhood and joyful memories, surrounded by a doting family and kind neighbors and friends.

Still, she also grew well aware of the stigma associated with her kind and the disdain many had for it. The life of hard labor many Maggots were condemned to, if they could not escape like her family had. The illegal (yet quietly tolerated by the powers that be) slave trade. The despair.

This knowledge fed a dream in her to fight back- a dream further fueled by rumors of another Maggot in the past, taking up arms to protect his siblings. As a young teenager she began practicing combat ; training herself ; strengthening herself. She worked herself to the bone to get stronger. She found an old, discarded armor and cleaned it. She brought it to a Menderbug to repair it ; and the same Menderbug would later add adjustments to the inside of it so it would better fit her. She got stronger. By the time she became an adult she had already left the nest and was traveling the breadth of Hallownest, looking for ways to help less fortunate Maggots.

At some point she met Lance, and the two would form a deep bond with each other.

BACKSTORY

In a post-Infection Hallownest, Lance was born from the union of a Mantis Warrior and a Knight of the Mosskin Tribe. While both of her parents were entirely caring and loving, she had to live with her father in the Mosskin tribe as, due to being a hybrid, she was considered an outsider to the Mantises. As such she could only spend little time with her mother and grew up wishing she could get closer to her.

Trained in the fighting arts of the Mosskin tribe, she would end up leaving the nest upon reaching adulthood and set off on a personal quest to find purpose in her life. Along the way she would run into and befriend Noa ; later forming a deep bond with her. The pair would later meet Liege and Sareem and the four would begin traveling together across Hallownest.

A Leech with a passion for History and Linguistics, Liege had traveled from his birthplace to many different lands before reaching Hallownest. He had heard of the kingdom’s past ; its fight with a mysterious god-born Infection and the subsequent vanquishing of the disease by a mysterious knight…

Curious and driven by a thirst for knowledge, Liege felt compelled to explore the kingdom and meet its many peoples.

He would soon run into Sareem and join him in his sightseeing journey, delighted to find someone with the same desire for discovery and knowledge.

Sareem

BACKSTORY

Sareem hails from a far off kingdom ; one where bees are purple and live alone rather than in a hive. This solitude however did not suit him, pushing him to set off on his own journey across many lands, enventually finding his way to Hallownest. He was astounded by the sights and local flora and delighted himself in the exploration of this new land, soon meeting Liege ; another explorer with a similar taste for exploration ; and begin traveling with him.

While he looks imposing to many bugs, he is a pacifist at heart and a gentle giant, only carrying armor and a nail to defend himself. This does not mean that his combat abilities are lacking however- far from it. He has had years of travel across dangerous lands to sharpen his skills and nail...

Vivi

ALIAS: The Grounded Bee

AFFILIATION(S): Noo (Best Friend*, Roommate), Cornifer & Iselda (Friends, Neighbors)

*Noo & Vivi's relationship is purposefully nebulous. They are best friends, whether they're also romantically involved is up in the air. They can be depicted as either.

BACKSTORY

A young, lonely bee from The Hive, cast out of her birthplace due to her atrophied wings and inability to fly. Ironically, this banishment would end up saving her life as it kept her safe from the plague that took over most of her kin.

Using her wax nail and grappling hook and relying on her speed and agility, Vivi traveled across Hallownest in search of a new home. It wasn't until reaching Dirtmouth that she found safety and, more importantly, people willing to welcome her among them.

She quickly befriended Noo and the two began living in the same house as roommates, alleviating Vivi's loneliness and Noo's general nervous disposition. Vivi regularly accompanies Noo on their digging excursions and keeps watch as they work to make sure they're safe.

Noo

BACKSTORY

A maggot who escaped a life of forced labour in the heart of Hallownest and made their way to Dirtmouth, where they took up residency in one of the many empty houses. Although they consider themself cowardly and rely on Vivi's protection anytime they have to leave town, they can show bravery when needed and are always willing to help. They can often be found digging in the dirt around Dirtmouth, under the Howling Cliffs and near Crystal Peak. They make a living by selling their findings to travelers.

• During their escape, Noo found and drank liquid from a Lifeblood coccoon, which granted them the protection to make it to Dirtmouth safely. They kept one of the Lifeblood flowers as a souvenir.

• The items they sell include "Lost Geo" (Geos lost by another adventurer, sold for the exact amount they are worth) and "Shiny Rocks" (Items holding no in-game value other than granting the "Geologist" achievement once all 7 colors are acquired). On rare occasion Noo will sell "Discarded Charms", which are useless as is but can be washed in a hot spring by the player to reveal the charm's power.

Figured it was about time that I make a giant masterpost for all the blorbos, so here it be.

Mind you: I have dozens of AUs for these morons, so some info changes depending on the universe.

Without further ado, here's the lineup!

Name: Rackal Orro

Age: early/mid 50s

Gender/sexuality: Cisgender male; pansexual (genuinely anything goes)

Race: Half-Drow (human mother, Drow father)

Class: Oath of Devotion Paladin turned Oathbreaker or Fighter (AU dependant)

Height: 6’11”

Persona: Fairly level-headed but prone to recklessness, wants to do the right thing regardless of consequence (the second rules don’t serve those they’re meant to protect, he’ll break them), selfless to a fault, mature, calm

Quick history: Former Flaming Fist who lost his faith in the organization after losing his best friend and long-term partner, Meirin. Now a freelance adventurer, believing he can do more good on his own. Grew up in Baldur’s Gate, near the docks within a low-class family. Clairice is his twin.

Likes: People with integrity, dogs, spicy food

Dislikes: Hot weather, dishonesty, sweets

Name: Clairice Orro

Age: early/mid 50s

Gender/sexuality: Cisgender female; pansexual (if you are cool you can ride this ride)

Race: Half-Drow (human mother, Drow father)

Class: Bard/Rogue

Persona: Jokester; laid back; avoids responsibility; very carefree demeanor.

Quick history: Joined the Flaming Fists alongside her brother and childhood friend, Meirin, but left after a year. Was part of the Guild and involved with Nine Fingers Keene, but left due to a difference in ideals. Talented thief, one of the best in the business (but not the most well known, which Clairice claims is a good thing– a well-known thief is more likely to get caught). Rackal is her twin.

Likes: Whiskey, wine, playing music (particularly lute), spicy food

Dislikes: Self-righteousness, cold weather, rain, tea

Name: Mortimer Craig

Age: Mid-20s to Mid 30s, depending on AU

Gender/sexuality: Transmasc; gay

Race: Human

Class: Wizard

Height: 6’0” in heels, 5’9” without

Persona: Nervous/suspicious, fiercely overprotective of loved ones, irritable, exhausted, dry/sarcastic humor.

Quick history: Born to a wealthy magistrate. Former Blackstaff prodigy until his father gave him to the Cult of Bhaal under the guise of an arranged marriage. Fled and been on the run since. Has a Bhaalspawn daughter, Lucille (born when he was 19/20), who he’d burn the world for.

Likes: Coffee/tea, sweets, books, warm clothes, jewelry

Dislikes: Meat, cold weather, loud noises/quick movements (spooks easily)

Name: Lucille Craig

Age: Varies depending on AU; often play her anywhere from 13-16.

Gender/sexuality: Cisgender female; asexual/aromantic

Race: Human-born Bhaalspawn

Class: Wild Magic Sorcerer

Height: 5’9” (at 16)

Persona: Curious, no sense of personal space, questionable social skills yet very friendly, comes off as very unsettling, has a strong sense of morality despite her nature

Quick history: Been on the run with her father since she was a wee babe. They’ve never settled down in one area for too long, as either the Cult finds them or people learn what she is.

Likes: BUGS, the color pink, pretty dresses, flowers, meat (especially raw), sweets, stuffed animals, conversations about the ethics of cannibalism

Dislikes: Dirt/being dirty, rude people, perfumes (very strong sense of smell)

Name: Cecil

Age: Unknown

Gender/sexuality: Male; asexual/aromantic

Race: Rat

Class: Rogue (he will steal your shit)

Height: Between 1-2’ in length from nose to tail tip.

Persona: Sarcastic, dry wit, no-nonsense, trickster

Quick history: He’s Mortimer’s familiar. Depending on the AU, he’s been with Mortimer since Blackstaff or just after leaving the cult. In either case, he’s just a rat Mortimer found and began feeding food scraps to.

Likes: Fancy foods (especially good cheeses, nuts, and bread); silk pillows; a nice bath

Dislikes: Fried foods/garbage foods (he is CLASSY); the color red; CATS and most dogs

Name: Alice Silvonne

Age: Mid 20s-30s, depending on the AU (close in age to Mortimer)

Gender/sexuality: Transfemme; pansexual (leans towards more fem-presenting partners)

Race: Human

Class: Fighter

Height: 6’3”

Persona: Sharp-witted, relaxed demeanor, fairly easy-going, pleasure-seeker, flirtatious

Quick history: Only child to a noble family; disowned by her family at eighteen for refusing to follow what was expected of her. Grew up knowing how to fence/duel, and eventually found work as a low-level mercenary. Eventually became an assassin known as “The Damsel,” with her calling card being a bloodied white rose left behind on her marks.

Likes: Very fine, pretty things (silks, lace, nice dresses); heels, jewelry, rich wines, whiskey, tropical locations

Dislikes: Camping (fuck that noise; she only boards in taverns/inns if she can help it); mud and rainy weather; getting stains on her clothes

Name: Hubie Greenleaf

Age: Mid 20s

Gender/sexuality: AFAB, genderfluid; pansexual

Race: Satyr

Class: N/A (she’s really just an herbalist/alchemist)

Height: 4’9”

Persona: Sweet, understanding, no-nonsense (will call you out on your bullshit), very forward/honest, flirtatious, demanding

Quick history: Grew up on the outskirts of a small rural village with her family (mom, dad, two brothers and a sister). Unfortunately, raiders slaughtered her family and most of her neighbors; they were driven out by several Zhentarium who were staying in the local tavern. She moved away to another village, where she runs her own potions shop and serves as the local medicine woman.

Likes: Plants of all kinds, animals, cable-knit sweaters, ribbons, tea, moonshine

Dislikes: Weak alcohol, cities, dishonesty, coffee

Name: Mint

Age: Early 20s

Gender/sexuality: Cisgender male; asexual/demiromantic

Race: Kobold

Class: Cleric (often, a Cleric of Kelemvor)

Height: 3’2”

Persona: Easily excitable, a bit dumb, selfless to a fault, kind

Quick history: After being driven from his tribe shortly after entering adulthood, he worked as a travelling cleric, selling his skills for gold and safe passage.

Likes: Sweets, bread, meat, sunshine, the color blue, shiny things

Dislikes: Mean people, getting yelled at, the dark, vegetables, getting his tail stuck in doors

Parhelion Knight is the lone guardian of the ancient wishing star Parhelic Anima. A volatile, foul-mouthed spitfire, Stell isn’t exactly the most sociable puffball in the cosmos, quicker to resort to violence and insults over diplomacy. To be fair, when the extent of one’s social interactions for the past several centuries is speaking to a soulless AI, talking to oneself, and spewing death threats, it makes sense that their conversational ability vastly suffered. It certainly doesn’t help that they’re desperately pasting flex tape over their many, many complexes over their short stature and lack of wings. Projecting? Overcompensation? What’s that?
