Slasher AU with whoever you want?

This is the context

I did my Skykids for this one because I thought it fit!

Possibly the fastest I've ever made seven whole designs

Some yapping below because I had so much fun with this lmao

Sparrow and Dee already fitted the jock and popular girl vibes because I'd already made their characters like that, so that choice was easy (although the order of their death is the inverse of the canon storyline)

Cadro would also 100% be in a slasher and that boy is too stoner-y to EVER survive

Oz would be that guy that the audience is rooting for but who dies anyway. He's usually a pretty confident person but I made him scared here because it matches with what he's feeling around his canon death

Shiela, another easy choice. I already fitted her with all the same traits that typical final girls have

I had a few characters who I thought would fit the expositioner role, but Mirai made the most sense because in canon she's the future version of Natalie and Shiela interacts with her...once? I think.

And lastly. I had to think long and hard about which of my characters would fit the slasher role (and I had a funny backup planned in case there were none, so I really believe this fits).

Mykell and Arturo would both kill people, but both are too noble and up-their-own-asses about it to do it like this. Kylo and Morgan would also probably kill someone if they got the opportunity, but both are arsonists and in a more modern setting they'd probably default to firearms.

Ray, though. He's antisocial and hates most people, with an emphasis on the four characters who I listed to die. The runoff of Natalie's spirit-interacting power that goes to him makes him see flashbacks to the soldiers fighting each other, fighting krill, and so on when in the golden wasteland. This eventually makes him idolize the soldiers and want to be one of them, since he believes he's going to die anyway (at least, canon Ray does). He eventually lives to become an Elder though, and that makes him a lot bigger than a normal person.

And Mirai being the expositioner about him makes sense because in the canon storyline, she's the future version of Natalie, who is being raised by Ray. She knows him really well, she'd definitely be able to expose that information to the past versions of these people if she so desired (and if Resh let her, cough cough). Ray is the only Skykid I have who I fully, honestly believe would become a slasher. Nobody give that boy a machete.

He also has a soft spot for...almost solely Shiela, which is why it makes sense that AU Shiela would be the one person to escape him.

Hey! I know this blog hasn't been active for a minute, but what would the mamas (and papa's, and other ocs on this blog lol) be most excited for about the winter festival?

it really has been like..... over half a year huh? TwT

I’ll be sticking with mamas and papas for this cause I have way too many OCs now! ;o;

Katerina: most excited for the feasts. She thinks there’s something special about sipping wine and having food to show the fruits of their labors from earlier in the year, considering how difficult it is in Nohr. But she’s also mostly just excited for the wine.

Ikona: most excited for an excuse to stay inside and bundled up under lots of blankets. She would love a kotatsu honestly- she likes having mandarin oranges as well, but she most looks forward to being warm and sleeping, even if she dreads the inevitable sicknesses. She also looks forward to her son’s birthday too, of course.

Cadros: most excited for the snowy environment at the festivals. He probably is well known among the populace for finding time to paint during the festival, and might even have a separate celebration tradition dedicated to it. He loves the beautiful environment and wants to capture each year’s end with his paintbrush. The quiet contemplation of the year while painting is unmatched in his eyes.

Ione: most excited for the different games at the winter festival. She loves festivals already, and the winter festival is no different. While she enjoys looking at the stalls and trinkets that are special to the season, she likes seeing the different games or competitions that are underway, the ones with more skill involved, the better. She’ll also collect any knick knacks she finds interesting or beautiful.

Theodora: most excited for the presents. It’s a good chance to show her knowledge of people’s preferences and likes, and to win up points with people she wants to make connections with. But she also very much enjoys seeing what people have gotten her, since she admittedly likes receiving expensive gifts.

Livilla: most excited for mistletoe, duh! She’s also excited for presents too, since she likes receiving them. But the effort to find presents makes her also dread it, so she has to love mistletoe most. Not many people would actually play into that like she does, but she’s always hopeful for a chance to catch Garon under one.

Heliodore: most excited for spending times at bars, if he’s in Nohr. The winter festival can be bitter for him since he’d much rather be with his family in Cheve to celebrate, so he looks forward to having a pint with some buddies to have a fun night out in the town. He likes having a drink to keep warm and go have some drunken fun in festivals and feasts.

Kameko: most excited to see the different traditions. Wherever she ends up in her travels, she likes to see what the town she’s in has to offer. She finds that most inns or people gracious enough to let her stay with them have little traditions or habits of their own that set them all apart. She really enjoys seeing the festive cheer in so many different ways in so many places. Of course, she also loves to hear from her sons, even if it’s just Kaze.

1) The first drawing I ever did on my drawing tablet was Yukio Okumura from Blue Exorcist, which is why I use him as a mun faceclaim. He holds a dear place in my heart uwu

2) I have a playlist of 80s/synthwave songs that I associate with Ignatz a lot. While one might think that it wouldn’t work, somehow, it helps me write him  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

3) I’ve played many muses from the Fire Emblem games before Ignatz. I had Cadros (Fates), Sigure (Fates), the five divine weapons that I personalized into people (Fates), Ignatz (3H) as well as an OC which I don’t remember the name of but had 9S as a faceclaim. I loved that OC to bits but I got scared that nobody would play with him so I deleted him.

4) I ship Ignatz with a lot of people. My OTP doesn’t even have relationship dialogues with Ignatz but what can I say, I’m weak.

5) I post art on here but I delete it almost immediately because I’m really shy about it and I’m really scared that people won’t like it. One day, I��ll actually post art without feeling embarrassed about it ;3;

since no fic was selected i get to pick! While Time Shall Not Sever actually does have a part 2 fic in the works (which is getting increasingly long), i always want to do some stuff for the Ishtar Lives verse, since i have a huge soft spot for Galle and there is nothing more delightfully self-indulgent than oc/oc gen 3 femslash for jugdral.

Z: Is there a story you’ve written that doesn’t seem to get much love?

besides every ons fic i’ve posted (because the ons fandom is Known for being horrible), two of my most loved fe14 fics are sadly not very commented on.

In Loco Parentis is about Shigure’s time with his unnamed friend (and i actually tried to make the deeprealms make SOME sense so i think that earned some commendation).

After a bit of a hiatus, I have finished Cadro!

He spends pretty much all his time hanging out with a pair of twins named Sparrow and Chickadee, and the three are widely considered to be inseparable (if not a bit annoying). Cadro gives the queer vibes of a typical teenage boy and never takes anything seriously. Everything is a joke to him and many others around him find it very annoying. But he’s not mean, he just wants to have a little fun~

I just realized I don’t know if I’ve ever talked about my idea for twins in Sky on here? Or if I have it was probably mixed in with a bunch of other stuff. But it’s pretty important to the story, so I’ll explain it better here.

Twins are when two Skykids fall from the same star and land together. Because they were created like that, they’re supposed to be raised together and spend their moth-hood together (and they’re supposed to continue to stay around each other even as they get older). The effects of not doing this means that the Skykids are weirdly socially developed, to put it in that way. Twins can also sense each other and can vaguely tell what the other one is feeling, but it’s so vague that it’s difficult to tell apart from their own emotions. Actually, twins who spend more of their time separated have a stronger connection to their twin’s emotions than ones who hang out more often.

The Valley Twins, as an obvious example, are twins. In my headcanon there are much more complicated reasons why they continue to stay together and basically function as two halves of one whole person (it has to do with Priestess Sahmek), but they still are twins and we’re born and raised together.

Talking about my own OCs now, Shiela and Leon are twins! They were born together but were separated at an extremely young age and were raised by different people (Shiela by Ray, Leon by a different group). This means that they’re both now…what would be considered weird. Both are very toxically positive and Leon really enjoys hanging out with light creatures more than other Skykids, especially crabs. He also willingly hangs out with Mykell on the regular, something that no other Skykid does. Shiela knows Mykell and has fun teasing them but isn’t particularly close with them, her most bizarre trait is that she wants to be a bird so, so desperately. She was transformed into one at the Aurora concert when she was a moth and that experience altered her permanently, and now she’d give anything to be a bird again and simply fly away.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, Sparrow and Chickadee are twins too. But unlike Shiela and Leon, they were actually raised together and so are much more “normal”. They have pretty much zero innate grip on the other’s emotions and they’re lacking in quirks that make either of them really exceptional. They just go about their lives as normal. They also have Cadro, who has absolutely nothing to do with the twin thing. He’s just there.

Mykell: The only thing keeping me from running away and hiding from society for the rest of my life is spite. I could disappear forever, but there are some bitches whose downfalls I have yet to witness, and I wanna be around when that happens.

Morgan: It's not like I try to blow things up, exactly. It just sort of happens. You've got to admit though, fire is fascinating.

Kylo: I am free of all prejudice. I hate everyone equally.

Oz, to Natalie: I'd make fun of your height but there isn't enough to make fun of.

Mykell to everyone: I just wanted to say that over the years, I have come to regard you as… people I met.

Aishika: I'm against crime, and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

Ray: Say no to drugs.

Oz: Say yes to drugs.

Shiela: It doesn't matter if you say yes or no to drugs, cause if you're talking to drugs... then you're on drugs.

Natalie: Yeah, well I've never died so how do I know that god is real.

Sparrow: Two brooooos!

Cadro: Chillin' in a hot tub!

Oz: This bloodline ends with me.
