Here's a big post of some of my doodles of [Cap'n and crew] that I haven't posted yet! Couple are comics, couple are shitposts, you know how it goes.

(Also have some extra character tidbits beneath the cut!)

Cap'n (she/they) has become a Spongebob-adjacent "married to the job" type with sprinklings of "they are not immune to rose-tinted Company propaganda". Cartoonishly loyal to work, she's more upset about lying to the boss about her condition over actually becoming a monster on work time (though she isn't particularly a fan of being a monster, either).

Skeets (she/her) was already implied to be pretty optimistic and curious, but I've doubled down on this. She's constantly curious about entities and the state of her co-workers, asking questions and absorbing new information. She's also extremely lucky when it comes to encountering entities.

Mav (she/him), as implied by her nearly leaving Cap'n behind in the first comic, has become a "I won't hesitate, bitch" bitch. Split second decisions aren't an issue for her, she WILL shoot first and ask questions later. (She also now has a gambling addiction, haha. LOVES betting credits on things)

Kid (he/him) is now Irish. I will not elaborate. He's kind of literally the same otherwise. He's also in major inherited debt because of a Company-caused clerical error, but don't worry about it.

Uh. That's about it, I suppose!

This is my first (pilot) issue of this series I want to explore!

What is The Sleeping Debt about?

Our two guys, Benny and Weston, had stayed up far too long and now banished to serve as props to other people's dreams as punishment for their poor sleep.

These two now must serve their time in the dream realm to pay off the sleep debt they've accrued through their lack of sleep in order to escape.

This specific comic has Benny and Weston in a classroom dream, unaware that there is someone also in debt like them controlling this dream with malicious intent to haunt this story's dreamer.

Hehehhehe updated anatomy doodle for Sagaras skull, i find it pretty handy having a skeletal reference for them. A little unsure how the hell you draw horns on a skull or if this is actually viable- but heyyy this versions a good bit more accurate than last years first skull attempt!

Also took some inspo from a snakes skeleton, i am committing to the Noodle Bit.

After messing with their design a little, I finally figured out my self-insert for R.E.P.O. Their name is Debt Collector, and they're the original semi-bot prototype that was upgraded and decked out with extra features. When you're on missions with other semibots, they have a habit of keeping track of time. If someone dies, that time window is decreased. If the dead coworker is not revived within that new time window, they will enter the building and remove an item from the extraction pad or cart, docking it from the actual pay you're given after level. Try to take it from them, and things may get problematic. They keep doing this in certain timed loops until everyone is alive. The best way to handle them taking expensive items is to leave some inexpensive items on the extraction pad, which they will take first.

Now for the self-ship stuff under the cut:

They are the right-hand man to, and dating, the Taxman. They are implied to have a human soul inside them from before the extinction; said human was one of the scientists who were studying the disease before it broke loose and caused worldwide destruction. Taxman was in beta stages, but still understood the emotion of pity and spared them in the form of death after they got infected. As he slowly became more sentient, he played around with soul revival, in which the first semibot prototype was created with their soul inside it.

It's not very known why he was attached to Debt Collector, but part of it stems from their gentle nature of how they handled his programming and code.

But they currently are a team, and a pretty close one at that.
