Here are some WC OCs! This is Sharpshine, Dustcloud, and their first litter. Dustcloud is a former barn cat who joined the clan when Sharpshine told him she was expecting kits, even if he still holds a piece of his old life in his name. (He was named Dusty by a pair of two-leg kits.)

I might draw the kits grown up with their mates (except for Sheepkit who became a med cat because she liked plants and the whole 'can't have a mate' rule.)

digital sketches!! Yes the piano is a clip asset im not drawing one by hand life is TOO SHORT !!!!

digital colour outline !! Didnt get a pic but I normally print this out ^^ so I can test colors on it!! keeps me from instinctively making everything bright pink and cyan ( foreshadowing)

sketch on canvas !! I printed the above pic in 4 corners and transferred it with soft pastel because I lost my charcoal. the pastel was TOO soft. so i resketched it . pencil for scale

First time trying this but i did a pink underpainting !!! because I wanted to make it pink!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (drowns him in pepto bismol)

the rest is all just me doing various flat colors with the acryla gouache ^^ I use holbein brand with brushes from wherever I can buy them cheap lol !

I repeatedly painted his suit the wrong colour. ^^;~⭐

gemstones!! I've been doing the OC birthday pics based off wedding anniversary gifts actually. Abel turned 4 irl so he gets blue topaz this year!! It was pearls last time. Theres a bit of metalic gold paint here imagine it shiny

started using masking tape slightly. Not well. most lines are freehand. not incredible up close im gunna be real

Last is outlines !!! AKA the only bit where it actually starts looking right AUGHHH

DONE!! took like. 20 hours or so probably. im not fast !!!! I did gloss varnish with an airbrush after this and smoked out my room with it in a big dustcloud . dont do that !!!!!
