DustCloud (cute name): Was going to say that I didn't ship it when I first saw this ask come in a bit ago, but it was because I hadn't thought about it, and now that I've thought about it I ship it.

What made you ship it? I thought about them together for like two seconds and I liked it. Bully x guy who he bullied who ends up being bigger than him maybe? Also Dustpelt a great option for the tom who Brightheart gets Cloudtail to hook up with.

What are your favorite things about the ship? Two tuff toms >:3 I feel like it's pretty flexible in dynamic, too. You could do the aforementioned bully -> uh oh he's bigger than me now, you can have them as bros who kiss, you can have some stuff driven by Brightheart and Ferncloud. They're both tough and outspoken I feel like they'd hype each other up.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I forget how much they interact in TNP but I have to imagine that Dustpelt was pretty mean to Cloudpaw, and I think that adds some good ~spice~.

BreezeCrow: You know I ship it.

What made you ship it? Angsty parent/child who have a bad relationship and make up through hardship and trauma? I never had a chance.

What are your favorite things about the ship? I love some canon where part of their making up is like, "I can't really see you as a father/son but I could see you as a tom." And you know they are both soooo awkward about everything for a while. Crowfeather has always been a blusher and I assume Breezepelt takes after him in that regard too. Also throwing Heathertail in there still is great. HeatherBreezeCrow dynamic is great.

Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? I don't know what an unpopular opinion looks like here. Is it unpopular to say that you could reasonably fit a casual thing for them into the canon without having to cut an AU out for them?

Meet the Splurpy! A small omnivore with a big personality. Info and additional drawings below

As stated above, these critters make their homes inside plants. The plants may vary but Splurpies prefer ones with a thick cuticle and high foliage density. The plant shown above is a Water Seed, these bad boys can store water for weeks on end!

Once a Splurpy has found its home of choice kt will get to trimming! Cutting the thick stalks of the Water Seed is no problem with their keratin blade. The moisture coming free in this process will make the grounds ready for laying the Splurpies' eggs, which need a humid environment to develop properly.

Once the house is made, a Splurpy will lose no time to defend it. The usual targets consist of mid-sized mollusk like critters that try to eat the host plant. The weapons of choice are a high pitched hiss that is produced by forcing air through the animals' nostrils, as well as some posturing and stabbing with the front feet at the threat.

The temper of a Splurpy can rarely be brought down once aggravated and it will lash out at anything it perceives as too close to the host plant. Even animals that are far outside its weightclass are not safe from its rightious anger!

Favorite picture of Arti would be (perhaps cheatingly) this one piece i did a while back with her with the vanilla slugcats (Survivor and Monk) as pups. You can see a faint symbol in the background, which represents "the Mother". Kinda a whole thing for her!

Out of canon images, there's two contenders:

For the lefthand one, it's just... Arti curls herself so tightly when sleeping compared to the other slugcats. I've been thinking it's to try and ignore fill the empty spots where little ones used to nestle...

The other is a select screen art. It's like any of the other slugcats' ascension ending arts, so in itself it's sort of whatever. But there's just a couple things in context: the faint green and blue splotches in the back are the colors of her pups, and during her attempted ascension, it seems she failed (being too tethered to the mortal world and never quite being able to let go, no matter how hard she may try).

However, as she seemingly dissolves into nothingness, she sees her pups one last time and holds them before vanishing. The fact that she gets an ascension screen after is what convinced me that at the end of the day, it wasn't her wrath that tethered her to the world; it was her love for her pups. This ending—along with the other one, where she commits mass murder and has her revenge (however hollow)—gives the achievement Closure, too... I think that's what she needed.

Mirage, though...

Well, as much as I love her and take her seriously, I think this is just hands down my favorite image of her because it's just so fucking stupid.

here are my dumb apple headcannons for all the turtles because i need a break from being horrible to them:

Raph: Fuji apple- he's not really an apple guy, but if he had to choose, they're really sweet and just the right amount of crisp for him. They're also one of his favorite shades of red.

Leo: Granny smith- they're the same green as him, he actually really likes tart things, and it annoys all his brothers— what's not to love?

Mikey: Honey Crisp- sorta hard to choose, it depends on what you're making/how you're eating it, but mikey did his research and knows that the best snacking apple is honey crisp

Donnie: Excuse you he's a super genius, he has no need for your store-bought, "main-stream" varieties that have no— it's red delicious. He likes Red Delicious apples. They're perfectly mild and has such interesting origins, but knows he'd never hear the end of it from his brothers for liking "the worst apple"... at least until he shows them the very interesting powerpoint presentation he made on why red delicious apples are actually the best.
