Klavier Gavin Investigations concept!!!!

I’ve had this in my mind for a while. If you’ve also been following me for a long time, you’ll know that Leyna von Karma is an oc i wanted to use for my Ace Attorney: Athena Cykes concept, but I realized it made soooo much more sense for her to be Klavier’s weird girl instead.

I’m not sure what Klavier’s gimmick should be. I thought of maybe like— him playing his guitar to ‘control’ ppl’s emotions (calming them down) to get them into a state where he can ask questions and get testimonies? And it’s like some rhythm mini game as well.

But idk! Just ideas

thinking about my gavin parents earlier. specifically, karsten gavin and the way he loves klavier.

HI SORRY. and sorry for any mistakes on the german, google translate can only take me so far DFGHDJFDGHD this was my original thought earlier that i typed into my pc during class DSFGHD

Karsten shows affection the only way he knows how (buying expensive lavish gifts) Karsten, being an absent father in many ways, doesn't pay much attention to his children's interests. Klavier becomes interested in music and wants a guitar for Christmas, he mentions this several times to Karsten as he works, over dinner, every moment he can get, really. Karsten and Karen have a fight 2 weeks before Christmas that leaves them very cold towards each other, Karin throws herself into social events/parties while Karsten flies to another place to focus on his work. The fight and their absence affect Klavier deeply, more than Kristoph who is growing more used to this. Karsten gifts Klavier an expensive piano, Klavier is disappointed and his face starts to show it. Karsten grows frustrated at this and starts to ramble “Music, right, liebchen? Didn’t you say you wanted to play?” “Well, ja, but… I wanted a…” Karsten starts frowning. “Klavier, do you have any idea how expensive this is? You don’t like it? Fine then, fine. Do you want me to throw my gift away for you, is that it?” “Of course not, papa. Klavier, what do we say?” Kristoph chimes in and nudges Klavier, whose eyes are starting to water. “[Thank you, father.]” “Oh there he is. Come, come.”

Vita sighs, bored. He fiddles with his concealment necklace, rubbing the pendant with his thumb. They hear the familiar steps of the guards switching shifts, and he gets an idea. Moving quietly against the wall, he creeps toward one of the guard stations. He watches the guards switch. He siddles up next to the new guard, who ignores him. “Gavin. Psst, Gav,” They mock whisper. The guard rolls his eyes.

“What do you want, Vita? I'm working.” He keeps his voice low. The guard he'd replaced was barely out of the corridor. Vita hums.

“I'm bored. I want kisses.”

Gavin chokes, but composes himself quickly. “Vee. You know we can't. At least, not until I'm off shift.” He pointedly ignores the pout on Vita's face. “We can't.”

Vita huffs and crosses their arms. “Yes we can. You just have to be quick about it.” He pokes his head around the corner, checking if the coast was clear. Once he confirmed that it was, he steps directly in front of Gavin, planting the palms of their hands flat against his chest plate.

Gavin's face reddens. “Vita, don't.”

Vita goes up on their tiptoes, inches away from Gavin's lips. “Are you gonna stop me?”

Gavin opens his mouth to protest, but no sound comes out. He shuts it again with a barely audible ‘clack’. “Fine,” he grumbles, no hint of actual annoyance in his tone, “one kiss, Vita, and if you do more than one, so help me-” Vita interrupts him by pressing their lips together, humming into the kiss. Vita smiles at the way Gavin practically melts in his armor.

They pull apart, Vita bearing a wide grin, while Gavin looks lovestruck. “So, see you after work?” Vita breathes. Gavin nods. “Cool.”

I’ve posted a bit about my D.A.M.N. Crew designs but I haven’t updated them in a bit.

Some notes about them:

Damien:

-he hates fire-elemental stereotypes and, as such, refrains from wearing a lot of red. His blue hair adds to this

-this outfit is an example of one of his cold winter outfits, ones that aren’t actually very warm but look warm to not seem suspicious to unempowered people

-the patches are made by him or bought from artist markets (one of them has Huxley’s jersey number hehehe)

-he’s very well-built under the coat, I might post smth with out it on

Huxley:

-his design was one of the easiest (it’s also one of the oldest so I may update it soon) because he describes his style pretty often

-Damien helps him repair his clothes and sews a lot of his patches, including the one on his shirt

-WE’RE DISREGARDING THE AUDIO WHERE DAMIEN CARRIED HUXLEY CAUSE THATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN W/ THIS HEIGHT DIFFERENCE IDK CARE HOW RIPPED DAMIEN IS. I chose this height difference and I thought it was funny so I’m sticking with it. Damiens an angry lil guy

-Huxley’s dreads go down to his upper back but they’re pulled up most of the time because he doesn’t do much w/ them

Lasko:

-i love his lil glasses charms, they jingle when he gets stressed and his powers start going

Gavin:

-HES SO COOL IM SO PROUD OF HIM

-Huxley is taller than him and Gavin hates it so he wear platforms whenever their in public together (plus he knows he looks great in them)

-this is the most dressed you’re gonna get him, if he;s home, his shirt is off immediately

-to unempowered humans, he doesn’t have his ears or horns

-the tattoo isn’t inherent to concubi but his seen it in human media and thought they looked cool

-(I might give him a tail idk, it’d probably have a lil spade at the end)

Freelancer:

-the tattoos on their leg (ignore the fact that they’re unfinished, I don’t want to work on them rn) are a patchwork sleeve they’ve been working on for a few years. A few of the tattoos are inspired by members of the D.A.M.N. Crew but they’re not the type of person to get names or faces on themself

-they’ve been taking testosterone for 3 years at this point and their stubble is coming in

-I totally didn’t give them my hair but cooler

Kody:

-I’d describe his style as ‘yacht fuck boy’

-god i hate him

- he wants to have a full goatee but he can’t grow hair on his upper lip so it’s kinda a neck beard/soulpatch thing

Caelum:

-he’s so fucking cute omggg

-he changes form depending on his charge because different people are comforted by different appearances and this is his for Freelancer (i don’t remember if the shapeshifting this is only for concubi correct me if im wrong)

-his ears twitch

-i imagine lil video game emotes coming off him when he talks :)

I’m back, baby!!

A continuation to my first post for Klavier Gavin Investigations!! Check it out if you haven’t because things will make more sense :3

This is mostly just new characters and my ideas for their introduction.

Edward serves as the Gumshoe of the game (Klavier doesn’t order him around as much though) and Mira is the main antagonist of the game. Her concept was also made by my friend @caliartcat!

I wanted to make her design a little similar to Calisto Yew, considering they are both antagonist “lawyers” for the first investigations game.

I thought it would be interesting if Klavier and Leyna had to go against someone who was shaped and molded by Kristoph.

I’m also thinking of changing Leyna’s outfit but it’s also become so iconic to me…. Character design is pain
