i want you guys to know that my process for choosing colors for the kids i had a hand in making (bxb, freddami, fredangle) is stupid and makes no sense.

“loops how sis you get yellow eyes for bxb when bonnies eyes are red and bons eyes are green?

the color invetween both of their exact shades is yellow 🔥

also i do a numbers thing where i take the exact number values of all the colors of the parents (hue, saturation, value) and take the mean (number that is in the middle of them both) and use that as their colors. for things like skin color and hair and eyes, aometimes ill upp the saturation or just choose ti break the rule cause it just looks better tho (Zeke has freddys skintone, Ali has Freds eyes) but thats what i do generally and i think it looks sooook stupid

also i tend to do the same exact thing for their name selection process. Pia named Asiri, lila, and Ethan bit I named the rest of em. 3hrs straight in behind the name webside🔥🔥🔥🔥

Anyways yes i had alicia done before thid, but after that

Nieves name came to me a easily because (bon) + (bon)nie = nie = nieve and i was instantly charmed.

uuhm after that i went to look for Freddamis kids name and inbetween C and F is D and E but none o the D names made think of him but thats how i stumbled upon the Damon and Pythia legend for the nightmares kids. Finnley (foxica kid) has an F name cause he looks quite a lot like fox so matching F name, also it means white/ blessed warrior and i can imagine the kids go a little jsutice in em or is a bit fightiy at the minimum + Finnley is a cute name

Destinys (Goldica kid) name Came To Me In A Vision (it just hit me and was perfect for them) look at goldica and tell me that ship doesnt have destiny ritten all over it thats right you cant.

Edgar is an E name because E is the exact middle of C and G, I was between a lot of E names for him, I preferred Ernesto a tiny bit because earnestness and honesty are important to both fox and Chica similarly to how themes of fate are importsnt to Golden and chica, but Pia liked Edgar more due to the asociation to poetry (edgar alan poe) and the asociation to birds (crows, once again edgar alan poe) which fits fox and chic in a different way!

theeen Lexi, L is the middle letter between E and T, and again i was between a lot but Lexi (alexandra) seemed fitting and cute for such a bold girl. then uhmm Zeke from ezequiel but its just Zeke. for freddami kid cause i thougjt it would be cool of Fredangle kids name started with an A and Freddamis starte qith a Z. dont read into that. <3 THEEEEn Quin!!! quin i felt like needed a cute name, the middle between M and T is even so ps and qs, i liked a lot of paul adjacent names paolo, pau, pepe, pierre, prince, quincy, quinn, but we settled on Quinn cause it seemed to fit them best and then realized it can match Puppet and Marionette by being harleyquinn esq then for Giselle, we named the red haired girl Leticia, andd th e other guy vincent, and the letter between L and V is G so ! yeah Giselle is cute and they (schoolamtes and teachers) call her Gisela ToT aaaand Giselle sems aoft and cite in my head and ahe seems like a sweet girl!

Fankids for our au :D!!!! i tried to make them in the fnafhs style but im clearly not the best at it lol :P Eaktrap kid named Alexandra (Lexi) and bxb kid named Nieve! they are both very sporty, and funny enough Nieve has like 0 interest in music and i think that's hilarious

Okay I’m reading through Porg’s update so some of y’all can save your braincells and here are some great highlights (under a readmore bc i couldn’t help but tear into a few things she suggested):

Flat out ignoring that Vergil had changed by the end of the game as a result of V and Urizen’s separate experiences.

In trying to make V and Urizen their own character, she throws out the idea of Vergil being manipulated by the Qliphoth/Urizen (??? somehow??? even though the tree is implied to be non-sentient i believe???), with V being a Devil hunter looking through the remains of Mallet Island (which was completely blown up, turned to rubble, and then swallowed by the sea, so... that can’t happen), finding the cane which makes him youthful and not sick but... having the cane makes it so he can only kill demons through the cane??? for some reason??? And he needs the Qliphoth fruit to heal himself and free him from the curse???

How did she make V’s backstory even more confusing and complicated how the fuck did she do that

Almost immediately after bringing up the cane, she instead changes it to be one of the rings he’s wearing because she wants her “precious V” to use weapons other than the cane, which makes all the prior paragraphs about the cane’s curse and only using it pointless. She’s the one writing this fic, why can’t she edit her own work so it’s more cohesive?

Despite saying that V should be a Devil Hunter, she doesn’t explain why someone who is supposed to be killing demons would form a pact with at least three to fight demons. Her rewrite dismisses Visions of V, and she even states later that the manga is a waste of time as it won’t ever be translated into English (which 1) is not a limiting factor to reading it as many people have translated it already and 2) doesn’t dismiss it’s value at building up V’s character, who she supposedly likes the best).

Also, for someone who complains about DMC5 being a rehash of DMC3, she’s sure doing her best to change it to a rehash of DMC1 (Vergil being controlled by an outside force, bringing back Mallet Island, bringing back Mundus [the cane is supposed to be tied to Mundus]).

V apparently can’t be human because she wants to give him a devil trigger, despite having 3 familiars and his own strength. Okay I guess?

Also it’s really fucking sick how she describes V changing, because it’s apparently V fusing with Nightmare? Devil May Cry has never been one for body horror but she straight up says she was inspired by “The Thing (1982), The Fly (1986), Bloodborne, and Resident Evil 7″ for the transformation imagery and I wanted to nope the fuck out of there real quick.

Her segments of actual fiction writing and dialogue are really bad it’s almost like a parody Youtube skit.

She switches between prose and script writing randomly, it’s really odd. She does it primarily with Dante i’ve noticed? Here’s an example I wrote of what she does:

“Hey, don’t stress out about it will you?” Says John following a few steps behind VINCENT: Don’t get your panties in a twist

And that just happens... randomly? Like, there’s no indication why she’s doing that it just happens.

She straight up writes notes in her fic about the controls for character actions in-game what the hell--

She also shamelessly puts in a link to artwork that clearly isn’t her’s (and I highly doubt she got permission to post about) to try and show what V’s Devil Trigger would look like. I couldn’t find it because I don’t know how pixiv works, but that’s just a shitty move, especially with how she treats artists on tumblr when they draw art of Vergil.

EDIT: Porg has now straight up copy-pasted the art into her fic without the artist’s permission which is, we all know, fucking theft. While it is good artistry, is just a weird mashup of Vergil’s and Dante’s. It’s not all that unique and I don’t understand why she had to reference a bunch of body horror shit when all the Devil Triggers in game are essentially just a large flash of light and a seamless transition between forms??? It’s good art, I’m not trying to bash the artist, but... Porg, you could’ve been a little more original here rather than just ripping off another artist’s designs...

Everyone in her fic acts super casually to seeing Vergil alive in the Qliphoth and it’s like... honey, no.

Vergil acts WILDLY out of character holy fuck. Like, I know I should have expected that but this is NOT how Vergil would act in the slightest. She’s pretty much writing an OC.

Building off of this: EVERYONE acts OOC and... it’s not exactly cringey, but it is perfect proof that Porg doesn’t know what she’s doing and hasn’t properly analyzed the characters.

Dante acts weirdly... detached? There’s no sign of him acting like his normal goofball-y self, and he’s much more serious than normal. He actually acts more like cannon Vergil than himself, actually. (He also knows CPR apparently? Which... is a skill he would really never bother learning, so...)

Nero doesn’t act nearly as emotional, and acts calmly for some reason. You can’t feel any of his emotions behind his dialogue, only through the adverbs added to the tags)

V is too informative. He knows way too much about random shit that... no one should rightfully know. I’ll mention it more later, but... V doesn’t act like himself and I don’t really know how to explain it.

Vergil is essentially her OC. Seriously--he’s not as brooding or snarky, he’s far too open and apologetic, there’s practically no sense of rivalry between him and Dante. Weirdly, he acts more like canon V than fic!V does, despite the fact that Porg wants to establish V and Vergil and separate characters. His actions also make no sense when put alongside his canon personality. We aren’t reading anything about Vergil, we’re reading about Porg’s weirdly idealized version of him.

I’m going to make a break in the post here because I feel like this is the part that needs the most attention:

Porg goes OUT OF HER WAY to dedicate a GIANT portion of this chapter to her own OC: Nero’s mom. There are several long paragraphs of establishing the relationship between her OC and Vergil, talking about leaving Fortuna, how they were ‘happy’ and then saying that after a hurricane (inspired by hurricane hugo, you’ll see later) she got separated from Vergil, never reconnected with him, GAVE BIRTH, died from a demon attack with Nero staying near her corpse, and then Nero was found by humans and taken off the mainland to be taken to an orphanage on Fortuna. She wanted a massive amount of time to be taken out of the fun parts of playing Devil May Cry to establish a relationship that would never come back and essentially turn into a 15 minute soap opera inserted into a game about having fun killing demons.

Alright back to the noted highlights.

Porg confirms in her fic that the universe of Devil May Cry happens in the US, and that Fortuna is an island along the southeast coast and I want to fucking rip my eyeballs out at this point.

The ONLY REASON why she is doing this is because she lives in Florida. I know she does, and she just wants to imply that this is all happening near her home turf. How anyone who lives in Florida thinks an island like Fortuna can exist is beyond me though, because playing through 4, most of the buildings are inspired by Italian designs, and no one in the states would build an entire island with italian designs. I’ve been to Florida multiple times--there’s no buildings there even REMOTELY designed to match Fortuna.

EDIT: I have been informed that Porg actually lives in Pennsylvania, not Florida, which makes both more and less sense. Why Florida? Why not a hidden island up on the east coast? Why does this have to be taking place in the states at all Porg???

Yeah, let’s take Nero off the MAINLAND OF FLORIDA after a DEVASTATING HURRICANE and send him to an orphanage on an ISLAND which would’ve been hit the hardest by ANY hurricane. TOTAL SENSE. 

She tries to make her own timeline for the series using actual real world dates and events and it’s terrible (she references Hurricane Hugo in 1989, and confidently states that 3 took place in 1990, despite all evidence for the actual dates of events being fan theory established through circumstantial evidence).

There’s so much horror movie inspiration here--not cheap horror, but really twisted shit that... doesn’t fit with Devil May Cry’s tone at all? In the slightest? She references Jacob’s Ladder, plus all the other body horror media I wrote above.

Straight up just tears Vergil’s arm off which sure, I guess we gotta make THAT a parallel between Nero and Vergil. They can have a father son moment over being physically maimed.

In the scene immediately before this, Urizen picks up Vergil by the head and roots around Vergil’s memories (somehow???) to show him all the ‘bad moments’ in his life to traumatize him. She describes it as the audience getting flashes of him falling to hell, charging Mundus, being Nelo Angelo, etc. 

This causes Vergil to cry and beg for Urizen to stop. Then Urizen rips off his arm. So. Yeah. Another point for the OOC!Vergil/OC-taking-Vergil’s-place board.

Also this point ALONE made me realize that Porg does not know how much time, effort, and money needs to be put into making assets. Like, the entire fic she was stressing that everything be done in 5′s HD Graphics--including the ruins of Mallet Island, so I have to assume she’d want these little snippets in HD too, which would be a massive money hole creating these assets for one scene that lasts maybe ten seconds total.

I know I stated it in one of my earlier posts, but most of what she’s writing would fit better with a sequel for the reboot series, not DMC5. It would make her OOC writing of Vergil make sense, all the horror movie inspiration and body horror shit would fit better there, especially all the crappy dialogue too.

She somehow made Griffon even MORE annoying than in cannon.

BTW if I had to listen to poetry while fighting the final boss of a video game, I’d sooner turn my PS4 off. Not that poetry isn’t cool and all, but it cheapens the final fight and distracts you. It wouldn’t work.

EDIT: I realized this point made no sense without context, sorry. Porg made the Book of Urizen (the poetry book by William Blake referenced multiple times by V) either weirdly prophetic or made it out like Blake had inner knowledge of demon powers or... something along those lines, and V magically has the knowledge that reciting poetry from the book about Urizen will... harm him? Weaken him? Open a gate to hell (she mentions a portal appearing near him)? It’s very unclear, but she essentially rewrites Urizen as the final boss, and makes it three stages (V [Griffon recites some verses, which is what the first point was about], Vergil and Dante [this is where Vergil gets his arm ripped off btw], and then Nero) with all three of them reading poetry from the book to deal the “final blow” to Urizen. I’d much rather have Vergil be the final boss than have to go through a three-stage boss fight while every character I play as recites poetry to kill the boss.

She mentions Dante using Sin DT against Urizen but I’m pretty sure with her fuckery of the game’s events Dante can’t GET Sin DT? Because there’s no fight between Nero and Urizen where he’d intervene?

COMPLETELY IGNORES VERGIL’S DEVELOPMENT OF WANTING TO TRAVEL WITH HIS BROTHER THROUGH HELL TO ELIMINATE THE QLIPHOTH FUCK OFF.

Also she changed the lore of the Qliphoth so that it sprouts semi-naturally around every 500 or so years? So... shouldn’t leaving the Qliphoth roots be fine now? Since it’s natural?

Nico acts like growing back arms is totally normal

Wrote an INCREDIBLY shoe-horned in moment in the van with Dante filling Trish and Lady in about finding Vergil and everything that happened where, once again, Trish and Lady act almost completely nonplussed that Vergil is alive after 20+ years in hell, with about 9 of those ten years being trapped under Mundus’ control and corrupted by the Demon King

Seriously why is no one surprised in this fic that Vergil survived? Dante has a brief moment before finding him, but everyone finds out and accepts it like flipping a switch (once again--ESPECIALLY DANTE, which is NOT how the grieving process works)

Porg states that the ending is trash because the twins are fighting in hell, but completely ignores that most of Dante and Vergil’s lives have been built on conflict and they like fighting demons, especially Dante. Both of them were happy and doing what they love.

She also completely ignores through this entire thing that Dante was really fucking depressed in the novels leading up to 5 but hey I don’t even know if she can read.

I can vaguely agree that Trish and Lady were sidelined and they should’ve had a bigger role. However, I can’t fault the directors for not doing this, because they were already developing three playable characters with their own unique fighting styles. She writes all this shit about the story, writes notes about controls and mission layouts, but forgets that it takes a lot more than pressing a single button to code a game.

She just doesn’t know what she’s talking about. Seriously, none of these things are cohesive or edited properly, and despite her saying she wanted better for Vergil, or Nero, or Dante, or V, she writes all of them incredibly out of character and doing illogical actions. I just... I don’t get it.

The best part is--I can’t even tell her about these things, or give constructive criticism. She moderates the comments on her fic and isn’t afraid to delete anything she doesn’t agree with or can’t make a ‘passionate rant’ about.

Esme Dawson - Ikemen Vampire OC

History: Esme had always been a sensitive person.  Both her mom and dad worked, so she didn’t spend a lot of time her parents while they were together.  She was the middle child, and her older sister was protective of both her and their younger brother.  However, as the middle child, Esme often felt left out.  She became quiet and withdrawn at a young age, not because she was shy, or didn’t like people, but because she learned to entertain herself when her older sister was busy and her younger brother was being taken care of by their mother.  She told stories to herself from a young age, liking fairy-tales and ancient myths.

Her father was a very erratic person, quite particular in his ways.  Her mother was the rock of the family, giving stability to her children.  But their father didn’t care much for displays of affection, and this stunted the emotional growth of the three children to some extent.  The three children, Leanne, Esme, and Thomas, all dealt with this in different ways.  Leanne was very action and goal oriented, the kind of person to try to get the best grades.  Thomas was prone to acting out and trying to keep attention on him, whether negative or positive.  Esme generally just faded into her own little world.  She was generally content to do this, though sometimes she would share her thoughts with her siblings when they were shut in due to bad weather.

Esme’s early years were generally benign.  She didn’t always get along with the members of her family, but they were generally close.  She didn’t do very well socially at school; she just never seemed to quite pick up on how to fit in.  Not that she acted out in any particular way to draw attention to herself, but kids often targeted the shy, awkward, or different kids.  The fact that she always seemed to be looking at something far away didn’t help much.  Her unguarded expressions meant that she had little defense against their teasing, and because she reacted, they teased her more.

Esme picked up an interest in writing when she was still in elementary school, though she was generally reluctant to share her work with others, especially her fellow students.  This continued on through junior high and high school.  But in her high school years, things took a turn for the worse.  She started becoming ill quite often.  At first her father accused her of making things up.  Esme was generally an honest person though, so her mother didn’t believe this.  However, she thought her middle child might have over-exaggerated how unwell she was.  When Esme passed out in the middle of a math exam, and didn’t come to right away, they began to believe her.

After many hospital visits, and a few more fainting spells, Esme was finally diagnosed with a rare blood disorder.  It was one that had no cure, but it was survivable with proper care.  However, all the time spent off work for her parents, the missed school time, and the recurring trips to the hospital really wore away at Esme.  She finished high school a year late because of her health concerns.  Sometimes she could feel some resentment from Leanne, whose college was put off because of the emergencies in the family, and from Thomas, who suddenly wasn’t getting as much attention.  While she knew her siblings still loved her, the resentment still stung.  And she couldn’t even blame them.

For a while Esme worked as a general transcriptionist; it was work she could do from home and try to help pay her parents back a bit.  From all her writing for ‘fun’ she had become quite a good typist, and it was one of the few skills she would admit to having.  Her mother coaxed her to put her money towards schooling for medical transcription, which paid more.  Esme agreed, and this got a little more resentment from her older sister until Leanne realized it was to help her that Esme was doing this.  Finally Esme was able to get her sister off to college, for at least a starting semester.  She didn’t keep much money for herself, but her mother finally encouraged her to put some money aside.  Esme, not really feeling positive about her own future, did this reluctantly.

Finally Esme’s will broke.  She was tired of all the time spent at hospitals.  She was tired of the needles and the experiments with medication.  She was tired of passing out, of not being able to do what ‘normal’ people her age were doing.  She was tired of always feeling like she was on the outside.  Taking her savings, she bought a ticket to Paris, telling her parents that she hoped the break would give her courage to keep going, that a change of pace would be good for the soul.  In truth, she was running away from her family.  She had no intention of returning home only to have her family watch her suffer and die.  Instead she would spend whatever time was left to her enjoying the culture of Paris, a city that held so much promise in its history.

Personalty: Outwardly she might be misunderstood as shy, aloof, or even snobbish.  This usually means she’s just deeply in thought or daydreaming.  But she’s not very good at pretending to feel what she isn’t feeling.  Quite often her expression is a true indication of what she feels inside, even if it’s not obvious why she might feel that way.  Her mind is always filled with a struggle between what should be, and what is, between the beautiful visions in her mind and the blandness or horror of reality.  She feels a huge discrepancy between who she is and who she would like to be and is full of insecurities, often feeling betrayed by her poor health.  

By nature she is kind, and often frets if she feels she has hurt anyone or disappointed them, but she doesn’t always have the foresight to anticipate when her actions might lead to one of those outcomes.  Generally she tries to do whatever she can for other people to minimize suffering, but when she feels helpless to aid others, the feeling consumes her to the point where she almost loses the ability to function.  With her health so poor, she often keenly feels how ‘useless’ she is and this wears on her psyche.

As an aspiring writer, she can be picky about language, but is more relaxed in speaking than in writing.  She’s also very uncertain about her writing ability, and is more than likely to flip out of someone tries to read any of her stuff.  She loves music, but has no especial talent concerning it; she has a nice singing voice,  but is untrained in its use.  She likes gardens, but prefers to observe them at a distance due to a strong fear of wasps.  While she’s not exactly timid, she’s the kind of person to weigh consequences, and when she acts suddenly she often chastises herself for being impulsive, despite the fact that she’s very emotional.

The biggest strain on her personality is her poor health.  Her disease has caused her to spend a lot of time with doctors and in hospitals.  She doesn’t like touching people because most of the physical contact she has is from doctors taking care of her.  As far as she’s concerned, physical closeness usually means she’s going to be poked and prodded at in a clinical fashion.  Because of her failing health, she doesn’t have much experience with relationships; she doesn’t want to fall in love and put the burden of her sickly nature on someone else.  She feels bad enough that her family has to deal with it.   ^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^v^

Thinking about Dont Fear The Reaper. Thinking about a V (my V specifically, but this can apply to others too) who, for the entire span of their mission to remove the biochip post Jackie's death who just. Never lets anyone get too close.

Sure, they help the others because they genuinely want to and they give a shit. Whether it be thru force of violence or more steath approaches, they help. They help Panam with her troubles and the other Aldecaldos to the point where they're offered to be a part of the family if they want to be. They help River solve the case with Harris and even attend family dinner later on and he calls them a friend. They help Judy get justice for Evelyn and help the Mox's free themselves and reconnect Judy with her lost home underwater. They get Kerry back together with the rest of Samurai for a last gig both for his and Johnny's sake, and later help Kerry fuck with the Us Cracks too.

And everyone gives a shit about V in return. They're greatful, they reach out time and again to check on V and see if they need help. Especially Panam and Judy, who might even know that V is dying, that V has Johnny Fuckin Silverhand inside their head nonstop, and that the biochip is slowly eating away at them. And yet, they never seem to stop. Never really slow down enough to let anyone care back in return, to let them see just how deep the illness runs, how badly they're hurting in whatever way. They help the others, but they keep them at a distance so they can't be cared for too much in return.

All except for Johnny, that is.

Johnny who, even if he wanted to, can't escape the pain that V's dealing with, nor that ever looming fear of the inevitable end. He's in this body, if it's V's problem, it's his too so long as they're stuck together.

Which is why he finds it curious that V never actually does reach out for help when it's offered. If he were in their shoes (and he is, but he's not in control most times) he'd be taking the offered hand. But V never does. The only person V ever actually calls out for in times of distress is Johnny, and he's the one person who can't actually help, the one causing all of it even.

It makes no sense to him.

But then, eventually when they hit the breaking point on that rooftop, maybe it does make sense. Maybe the reason V never reaches back out, never asks for help, is because they don't want to drag anyone else down with their death. If they don't let the others get too close, they can't get hurt, can't grieve the loss of V that they aren't even aware they'll miss.

The only person V could actually bring along to the end who would understand that feeling happens to be the one who's caused this in the first place.

So of course it's a suicide run. Of course this begins and ends with just the two of them. Nobody else needs to be involved or die for the sake of a dead man and the one who's been harboring him. It's Johnny + V forever, and only them this time.

Honestly my truth for any post canon with V surviving beyond that 6 month prognosis is that they do, but they're disabled from the Everything they've been thru. If the biochip doesn't outright kill them or reject their rewritten engram from their body, then at the very least it's way more believable to me that they're left chronically ill from everything and they have to readjust to life with that new reality.

!! Hilariously enough I haven't actually talked about them much because I'm still fleshing them out lol, but this is the perfect opportunity :)

This is Vincent, I actually really really love the default name for male V and have for years before this so I'm not compelled to change it lmao. His full name is Vincent Vision however because I wanted him to have a stupid as hell last name:

I draw him slightly different to how he looks in game, namely hairs a bit longer/bangs cover his forehead and he's missing the left side neck tattoo but otherwise he's the same :)

He's a streetkid, grew up alone after losing his parents really young (saw it happen right in front of him.) Never really let many people get close after the fact until he met Jackie who brought him out of his shell a lil bit.

He's mainly a netrunner who also relies on stealth, he and Jackie balanced each other out in that way where Jackie was louder and more upfront but he kept his mouth shut until he really needed to say something. Prefers to use throwing knives/toxic mantis blades/katanas to guns but still pretty handy with a pistol out of necessity.

Honor and honesty as a merc are really important to him, so he's not willing to back out of a job easily unless there's good proof he's being played/he was fed shit info on purpose.

Has a bit of a dead eyed intimidating stare when you first meet him, but if he warms up to you he softens up pretty fast. Still takes awhile for him to speak about personal matters though even if he trusts someone.

He's trans :) and bisexual :)

Out of the npcs you meet in game, Panam is his closest friend with Kerry also being someone he enjoys hanging out with

Has a lot of cyberware by the end of the game but Despite that, his hair is very real, its the one thing he's never gotten synthetically replaced so he does painstakingly redye it fairly frequently. It's his one major vanity point.

He has a variety of brightly colored leather biker suits that he swaps out to wear even on merc jobs. People question how he can be stealthy like that but he refuses to stop doing so ~ (at least until very late game.)

On the topic of post game disabled Vs who survive the 6 months they 'had left to live'...I like to think V would be an ambulatory wheelchair user.

Mind and body are one, that's why mindfulness can help with chronic pain (mainly bc stress makes chronic pain worse lmao), so it is my headcanon that some days...they use a wheelchair, somedays they use crutches, somedays they use a cane, and some days they can walk completely unaided.

I also like to think, when the stress gets too bad, they hallucinate, maybe they developed psychosis as a result of what they went through.

Honestly yeah, I Really could see that being the reality for them.

And I think in that case tbh, because of how y'know. Gestures to Night Citys fucked up infurstructer not really being suitable/all that accomidating for mobility issues (mother of god the amount of stairs and out of order elevators alone you run into), going out with the nomads/Alecaldos specifically and taking up Panam's offer to join the family might suit them best in this scenario. (Especially considering we Do actually see the clan looking after other disabled members, one of the side missions has V grabbing a new organ for a member who's sickle cell anemic actually.)

I'd have to think on it more honestly to flesh out my thoughts for my V specifically but just. I Do Not buy the idea that V surviving would mean they aren't left with a lot of issues. The biochip clearly caused so much damage (and even moreso if V was friendly with Johnny and let him take over multiple times, Alt states this in the ending) and its just unrealistic to me that they wouldn't end up with chronic issues in the aftermath. At least depending on how you approach things they'd have a support system, be it with Panam and the Aldecaldos or with Viktor and Misty who clearly give a huge shit about V's safety and wellbeing.
