“Now that calls for a drink,” Rockford said, tucking the small piece of paper away into his pocket and patting it. “You be a good girl for me and run along, then. I’ll be along to enjoy more of your talents later.” He reached a hand up, using his index finger to swipe a little bit of something from the corner of her mouth and wipe it off on a handkerchief, tucking it back into his pocket. The pretty young thing courtesies and with a ‘yes sir’ scurried off. He watched her go - oh that was an admirable form underneath that hoop skirt - and he turned back to the bar. “I’ll have your good wine, please...” he said, patting the counter to garner the barkeep’s attention. The coins he dropped on the surface helped as well. “...and... whatever my friend here wants as well.” Rockford thumbed towards the person sitting at the bar already. He was in a surprisingly good mood now.
