YEAAAAAAAGGGHH!! It's almost been a year since I've drawn the little gal Mika :D (or rather it HAS been a year lmao because I don't remember when I started posting)

Originally I was gonna doodle these two in the same area but with a guitar singing Little Ghost (because I keep rewatching Paranorman) but.. I forgot that idea mid drawing. ...So. har.

remmick is still adjusting to being around you. it’s ironic, really, being inhuman for so long you forget what it’s like.

rem, i can’t hear your footsteps (..) you’re quiet when you move

he’d just about scared the daylights out of you — being so focused on the thrum of your pulse he forgot to heavy his footsteps for you. he’s so damn used to being unseen it’s taken nights like these to remind him to occupy a space.

so now you find yourself here, sat on the edge of the bed with remmick between your legs. caressing your calf with a touch that’s sickly sweet, especially coming from a soul that’s so rotten. “Sit down,” he had said. “Let me clean y’up,” he asked.

and just like you said come in all those nights ago, you said okay, rem. he likes when you call him that. if you had fangs of your own, you’d know by the jump of his blood. know by that link.

but not yet, remmick tells himself. eternity wasn’t a choice for him, so it will be a choice for you. it’s better if you choose it, make it taste sweeter when the time comes.

the time isn’t here now, though, so he’s on his knees. steadying your bleeding leg with the very hands that have taken lives —turned them everliving, too.

he kisses his way up to your wound, finding the stray drips of blood on his way, greedy in the way his tongue darts out to lap it up. you resist the urge to squirm. he’d probably like it.

it stings only for a second when his mouth lands on the source of that astray crimson, and you can feel the phantom of the fangs you know he’s using willpower to keep at bay.

it’s hardest when blood is involved, that animalistic part of his brain fighting to be forefront of his actions. but remmick has lived with such a dark passenger for centuries, and waves it back with the very hand his claws dare to poke out of.

it isn’t a lot of blood, only the smallest of offerings — but an offering nonetheless. another presentation of trust, another night of seeing the dark and choosing to let it cradle you.

and it does. he licks and cleans and his breaths are shaky while he does it, but he never falters, even with the effort it clearly takes to pull himself back from you. from your offering.

when he does, he presses a kiss to your knee. you twitch when he does, the area still sensitive.

“Poor darlin’,” he coos, and his hand smoothes over your thigh, causing your skirt to bunch. “Care to let me make it up to you?”

Don't be fooled by that snarl.. She actually loves this holiday! Rather that could be for wholesome reasons or horrible ones, that's something I'm never telling. I've been using a different brush that I really like and following a color practice, so compared to my other art, what would you think about this style? 🤔 *whispers* because... I really like it.. :3

I genuinely don't think Curly would be as caring for Jimmy as some people depict him in aus where Jimmy gets stuck and burned rather than Curly.

I feel like the realization would truly hit in that moment of what Jimmy did and how bad it was as Curly desperately tries to get him out of the cockpit. He's trying to break in to save Jimmy, but is he? All the thoughts in his head; Jimmy's trying to kill them all, Jimmy's trapped in the cockpit, Jimmy raped Anya, Jimmy's going to die trapped in the cockpit, Jimmy trying to kill them all because of what he did to Anya, and sort of a final Jimmy did this. Is he trying to save him or trying to figure out why? Trying to finally make him take accountability? You can't hold trial for a dead man. Does he want Jimmy to die? Not really, but it'd be easier than figuring out where they go after this. After they drag him out and get his set up in medical and Jimmy refuses to look at anyone but him.

He's the only one who is truly willing to care for Jimmy. I don't think he's keeping him alive for the same reasons, just he can't bring himself to put him down. He wants answers, he wants to be mad. This is the first time he can talk to Jimmy and not have anything spun back at him but he can't get a response. He's never really been able to but for the first time Jimmy actually has to listen and he'll never know if he's actually listening to him this time. It reminds him too much of not understanding Anya. Anya has to care for him and he doesn't want her too, she shouldn't have to but they can't just let him die, can they? Should they? It's easier than hearing him in pain but that's a reminder he did this... even if Curly allowed it to happen.

No one seems to have thoughts on it but him and Anya. They know the reason he crashed the ship but they don't get the logic. Anya does actually, but Curly has to admit he does to. Has to admit he's always known Jimmy's logic behind things, things that need to be "fixed" but he's always taken responsibility and fixed it himself. The first time he really let Jimmy take responsibility and he couldn't, he can't fix anything and Curly know he can't either. He looks at Jimmy and sees every mistake but now he's wondering how many of Jimmy's he's been tacking on to his own. How different are they?

What should he had done to stop it? Maybe this should've happened to him...

Curly doesn't like those thoughts and how they only come when he's stuck with Jimmy, like he's always done to himself. He's way too gentle when he gives Jimmy his pills, too mindful of teeth that always gave him hollow smiles. A tongue that always told half truths, while he held his own. He holds his jaw too kindly and thinks about all the times he's clenched his and smiled for his friends sake. For Jimmy's sake. Jimmy still swallows the pills and struggles, whines like it's not his fault.

He hoped it hurt.

And he's a little scared that he's a little too okay thinking that.
