I’m on winter break so I’m drawing a lot lol SORRY! I mentioned that I found my drawcast archives and now my winter break goal is to redraw one a day… here’s redraw 1 of ??? But this one’s more of a redesign? 14-15 year old me was actually kinda great at gemsonas ngl

The quality is gonna be CRONCHY because the “drawcast archives” are actually a thumb drive I hastily put together in the lates nights of the winter of 2021 right before drawcast shut down. Uh yeah so I don’t know how to get better quality images of my old art rip. This is from 2016, I was 14 probably

did u ever watch steven universe. be honest. i love ur artstyle sm, but something about it reminds me of people who drew for that fandom. specifically ur benry design. i say that with love btw (/gen) not being a hater here in the slightest!1!

Yes!! I'm a pretty big SU fan, and have TONS of ocs I made over the years. I never posted publicly about anything SU related, though, and if I was inspired by styles its definitely subconscious, haha!! (/nm) I managed to track down my most recent SU character from last year, Hercynite, if she interests you ^^ Haven't drawn her in a HOT minute, so old art will have to do. (DISCLAIMER: First image was traced off Holly Blue as proportion practice)

I redraw my old art with Purple Zircon

I loved this art so much, but now it looks so funny to me. There are mistakes in it, just like in the new art, yeah

Another redraw old art I did from my stream months ago that I have done which is me taking an old art piece from 2018 which is my Gemsonas - Kynite and Charoite. Honestly am happy with the redraw because I want to try my best mimicking the show style best I could do and this is what I ended up with which- is better then what I had in 2018. 2018 is also good but with some improvements needed.

Decided to give Kynite a type of dress look with the short skirt like in the front then long on the rest from the sides and back. Charoite having the shackles and collar and wearing a one piece suit with markings. Her Gemshape being VERY bizzar as it left questions if the shape is what is causing her to be mentally unstable , let alone insane.

(Steven Universe OCs) Chibi Beryls who I haven’t drawn in a long time. First pic is technically a redraw from 2019 (link to old one). I meant to draw four other Beryls with it but never got around to it until now.

Before the canon Aquamarine, I made Beryls and they were princesses to Diamonds (given that beryls are highly sought after and expensive). After canon introduction, these Beryls are gem quality beryls versus common beryls (gem quality irl are clear basically rather than foggy). Below the cut is their names and a bit about them:

Heliodor (Yellow Diamond): generally appearing to be soft spoken and cheery, her words seem to have a bite to them. She enjoys the luxuries of being a princess type.

Morganite (Pink Diamond): part of Pink Diamond's entourage, she ended up helping with the rebellion and lied about Rose Quartz shattering to the other Diamonds

Goshenite (White Diamond): cold-seeming and calculative, she prefers analytic over ideals

Aquamarine (formerly Blue Diamond before defecting): naive, and ran away constantly to the point where people hardly looked for her anymore as they figured she'd return. Eventually didn't, and joined up with Celestite before becoming corrupted during the Gem Earth War.

Emerald (formerly Green Diamond before Green was taken down): a rebel leader that has been plotting to take down the Diamond authority ever since they got rid of her Diamond. Her girlfriend is Jade

Chrysoberyl (Orange Diamond): while technically not a true Beryl, she was given to Orange Diamond who is known for being the useless Diamond and given throwaways. Chrysoberyl actually runs the place as she can do what she pleases while Orange remains bratty.

Maxixe and Aquamarine 2 (Twins to replace first Aquamarine under Blue Diamond): the twins emerged with each other, it was to help with the loss of the other Aquamarine Blue Diamond lost. The two are nasty to others and enjoy a life of luxury.

Alexandrite (formerly Purple Diamond before she was also taken down): unstable much like her Diamond, Alexandrite can switch between a purple state and a blue state. Blue is often melancholic while purple is excitable.

Bixbite/Red Beryl (formerly Red Diamond, before she was also taken down): Bixbite is a punk-ish rock n roll type, much like the rest of Red Diamond's court. She enjoys music that'll pump her up.
