there's something novel and a little emotional about being able to make your sims gay in ts1. you could make lesbian parents in this video game. you could fine tune your sims sexuality. the towers hadn't even fallen yet. people used to ask the developers how they handled the backlash for allowing same sex relationships in the game and they said no one really cared actually, it was fine. that's so beautiful. does anyone feel like crying over this
