If I see something like "she worships the old Gods" like some kind of aesthetic or flex one more time, I'm going to scream and cry. People, at least in typical modern society, clearly don't understand what those words mean anymore. If you did, the planet might not be dying. How about standing up for the desecration of old sacrificial burial sites? How about making a real offering and not just a digital moodboard "offering"? How about going out and doing something for the planet?

Most of you modern people would make the old Gods cry. Please be more respectful.

A repost of an ask that I like a lot. The glow and roughness is something I favor In my art.

This is also to let you all know I’ve been busy on some sketch pages and practicing my anatomy so I can deliver Better art at a faster rate.

I know o kinda go over board with each drawing, but it’s just me. I personally believe I should put my all on each drawing. And not just a transparent background with simple lineart and no color.

I like my art to pop and splash when it’s finish.

So with that. Imma find faster methods of keeping the same energy and improve my quality while lowering the time it takes. Currently it takes me a day to sit and Pre-sketch enough things to tie over the posting daily for the next few days. Plus about a hour to four depending on my background and how I decide to set the time and atmosphere of the project.

But again. I love and appreciate you all🫶🏻🫶🏻🥰

Late Monday, Tuesday Snippet

here's a wee snippet (but I think it's familiar to you)

… She takes the sturdy wind-light from where she left it on the floor but before she can light it, she hears footsteps outside. Even with the storm, it’s clear someone’s running up the paved path toward the lighthouse.

For just a moment she hears the pitter-patter of small feet, like a memory, but it’s the sound of a drizzle starting.

The footsteps are heavy and fast.  She wonders who it is. She does not expect any visitors. Apart from the Harbour master the villagers rarely come up here. She always wonders if it could be him. Even when it’s been years her heart still beats faster, every time footsteps come up the hill to the lighthouse.

The door opens a fraction with a creak. It’s jammed, she will have to oil the hinges before they rust completely. The moist sea wind settles on everything. It is patient, with time everything rusts through, everything is worn down, every wall crumbles.

The handle almost slips out of her fingers, the lamp jiggles and she lets the unlit match drop. In the door opening stands a man, he’s staring at her, as if she’s the apparition, instead of him.

“James?” she breathes.

“Lily,” he exhales.

Falling to his knees, everything stops. Holding his breath, Severus listens close for a sign of somebody else being here with him. The candles relight, and dark obsidian eyes lock with amber eyes.

“Euphemia Potter.” Severus whispers.

The woman smirks down at him, her long black hair falling in waves down her back. She looks like she did before she got dragon pox. What powerful magic did Severus invoke?

“I must say, it is good to be back. Thank you, Severus. Now, where is Dumbledore?” Euphemia says, her eyes holding knowledge.

CAS Challenge Day 9 - Cryptid

So this one took me a minute to figure out, but doing a lil searching told me that skinwalkers are considered cryptids. BAM! Who is my favorite skinwalker/fantasy female character. Well that would be Mercedes (Mercy) Thompson from the books by Patricia Briggs. I even was able to have the tat below her navel & the buckshot on her butt because the wonderful @theobsessedsimmertw made it for me!! How awesome is she!?!?

Here is my fav girl ♥ Plus some pictures of Adam and Jesse Hauptman. Which I had to make because Mercy got **the call** about getting married. So I had to quick rush that. At first Adam didn't find her attractive although they popped up as fated soulmates *facepalm* So that took some changing with mccc to fix that. Then they woohoo'd, and went on a date where they became bf & gf, then engaged, woohoo'd again and eloped. She didn't get the money for some weird reason so Motherlode it is!! I had so much playing with this family that I might start a story about them. Anyways, enjoy!! @pixeledwings I can't thank you enough for making this awesome challenge, I'm loving it even if I fell behind ♥

Really I don't think that Pureblood society is all about classicism, eugenics and elitism. 🤔 Originally it is not and I totally understand why they would want to preserve the original ancestral lines of magic.

This may be a broader subject but I think the original motive is quite beautiful. It's just that it has accumulated so much abuse and pain along the way. I enjoy diving into this world though, even if we don't hear that much about it canonically. Even more fascinating to think about these unseen parts. 😊
