Oksana Zabuzhko and Oleg Sentsov receive French Legion of Honor
French Ambassador to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins will present the Order of the Legion of Honor to Oksana Zabuzhko, writer and publicist, and Oleg Sentsov, a director and writer, who is now a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Embassy of France in Ukraine announced this on Twitter.
“On the day of the National Holiday in the garden of Saint Sophia Etienne de Poncins, on behalf of President Emmanuel Macron, has the honor to present the awards of the National Order of the Legion of Honor to Oksana Zabuzhko and Oleg Sentsov, iconic and outstanding personalities of Ukraine,” the embassy reported.
