I've taken to turning my bed into a nest lately and it's genuinely very comfortable! Piling up clothes and plushies and using blankets to hold it all together, surrounded by soft fabrics and comforting scents. Highly recommend

One of the things I love most about my mate being in rut is that they’ll sometimes start grinding against me when we’re in bed—even if they’re asleep. They’ll hold me as tight as they can and manoeuvre me so that I can’t get away, so that they can feel my body against theirs. If I try to get up, they even growl in my ear. It’s adorable, especially when I know they don’t know they’re doing it.

Just had like a massive urge to clean and fix my nest that I’ve not really had before. Maybe it was the mental shift of thinking of the space from a bed to a nest?

Regardless I don’t usually have the energy to clean but my brain was not happy with the situation and suddenly gave me the energy to fix it. Not going to complain but it’s weird that the nesting urges came in really strong this morning.
