There's something about blurryface (album) that's kind of like. Sticky. In the way that your skin is sticky when it's summer and it's past midnight and you have the window open to try to sleep but it's still too warm. Or, sticky, in the way that your hands are clammy when it's drop dead winter and you're driving around someone else's suburb, looking down the weird little leftover alleys between houses and wondering if something's going to be standing there looking back at you. And you are profoundly lonely. And you walk to a gas station, it's september maybe, and everything smells like spilled gasoline and stale cigarette smoke and there's brightly colored trash in all the gutters and all the neon signs glare off the asphalt, and when you go into the convenience store the single employee looks at you like maybe there's something weird about you, but you don't know what it is. Too quiet, maybe. Something wrong with your face. You don't smile enough. You don't want to be smiled at. It's dark all the time. But it's also springtime and the sky is pink and everything feels fleshy and delicate and rabbit-esque (tiny little heartbeats bursting everywhere), and you pick the first dandelion you see growing through the sidewalk cracks and it gets sticky milk all over your fingers. And you are profoundly lonely. You're pretending things would be better if you lived in a city where it rained more often and you could feel the hum of passing train tracks under your feet, but the truth is you're going to be lonely everywhere you go because there's this sticky ugly hollowness in you that you can't wash off no matter how hard you scrub. And maybe it would be better if you drove back home and closed the window and never left your house again and let all the lightbulbs die because something about the dark hurts less. You're running from something. What is it? Why can't you ever quite catch your breath? Why are you so sure this all has to end badly? You grew up but haven't yet learned how to grow out of anything. It's dark all the time here. Your face isn't the right one but there are no other faces. Your skin is sticky and you can't sleep. You are profoundly lonely.

Bloomshore district has kept to its old way. Almost like it was frozen in time for decades. It feels like an old town out in the country where most residents are older but farmhand like folks. They tend to their gardens, feed their chickens, and maybe operate a farm or ranch.

Growin' up in Bloomshore, kids naturally pick up the accent they hear daily. Caleb picked it up immediately, not wantin' to be just a new kid, so he would hang out with the other children and slowly learnt it from them.

MC didn't pick up on it as fast. She was younger, shyer, and clung to Grandma. She got along with the other kids in school, but she wasn't out until sundown with them unlike Caleb.

Slowly, oh so slowly, she would start cuttin' off her 'g'. Then came the glottal stop. Who has time to pronounce the 't' in the middle of a word? MounTAIN? No, moun'ain. AparTMENT? Nah, apar'ment.

By high school, both of 'em had an accent. Talkin' like the rest of the kids, except the third member of their trio, Zayne.

Zayne didn't have an accent. Very neutral despite his upbringing in the country town. But his parents are well traveled doctors, so it was inevitable he never picked it up.

(He tried to talk like Caleb and MC but it just didn't sound right)

After graduation, everyone went their separate ways. Medical school, DAA, and college.

MC moving to Linkon had her reigning her speech in. She didn't want to stand out unless it was for her steller academic performance. The only time her accent would come back is when returning home to visit Grandma and see Caleb.

Caleb's accent also lessened when living in Skyhaven. But it was still there and came out full force visiting his Pipsqueak and Grandma.

Sometimes, MCs accent will slip around Zayne. The familiarity and comfort making her switch to her old ways of speaking. He doesn't mind though. It brings him back to simpler, happier days of their childhood.

Despite our home team's best efforts, with both Super and Garbage Bin taking defensive positions at the hoop, the Green team takes it home today. With that win, we get another nightmare horse name, Plasticine Entity.

This horse doesn't have any semblance of a win theme (Funny how so far Midwest is the only one with an actual musical theme), just a piercing horse whinny. Interestingly, when Plasticine ball touches the hoop, there are 2 versions of them on screen after the cloak is removed.

The two Plasticines makes me wonder. The 'Plasticine' part refers to modeling clay, that combined with the word entity makes me wonder if this horse can duplicate itself? The other 2 named horses have weird properties too, like Midwest's clipping into the backgrounds before the match even starts (which they literally do in this race, peep the right.)

And whatever Truck stop is doing with the win screens (she's like infecting them or something). Well, today puts the score at 3:3. The Ones Who Knock may have lost the lead for now but things are far from over!
