Today I did a 30min HIIT workout with my newly toothless 6 year old. I learned what a London bridge is and in celebration of success completing it I FEAST! The angel of simplicity. My life is for filled in the simplicity of my attitudes. The more we attuned to our souls love and intuition, the simpler life becomes. On a personality level, we tend to complicate things tremendously, but when we become receptive to her inner guidance, life becomes simple and clear and is free from that is superfluous. So, I’ve been away from here for a long bit. I picked up a new hobby, one I would have laughed hysterically at if you told me I would be into it two years ago. Running has totally changed my life. I never thought I could walk a mile never mind WILLINGLY run 6.2! I love the endorphins I get after a run and the feeling of accomplishment. If i’m having a bad day, I will just throw on my running shoes, grab my phone and ear buds, crank up my Fall Out Boy station on iheartradio and go do 3 miles. Just thinking things through until I get hit in the face with the answer. The photo on the left was the first race I ever did back in April of 2016. It was Star Wars themed and I was a tutu’d Darth Vader. I wanted to give up so many times during that run, but I did it and was so DAMN PROUD of myself. It inspired me to dream bigger and to do more. So for 2017 I am doing FIVE 10ks!! All 4 Walt Disney World runDisney 10ks plus a 10k back in my old hometown in Louisiana. The photo on the right is during my first race of the year, a Minnie Mouse themed 10k. Next year will be ½ marathons and all will hopefully lead to me competing in the NYC Marathon in 2020 and the Boston Marathon in 2021. It has also inspired me to change some really bad habits I’ve acquired over the years. I’ve now joined a gym and have hired a personal trainer to show me the ropes in the gym and also correcting my nutrition. I took some “before” pics of my body to see where I was starting from. I think in April I’ll take some “after” pics to see how far I’ve come since I refuse to look at a scale. I will go by how my body has shifted and not be locked down by stupid numbers. So that’s the update with me, I’ll be posting more pics as I get them. Love to you all!!
