He was reluctant to let me set him up at first, something about a gadget that needed recalibrating. But after some nudging I got him to agree that a night out would be good to refresh his mental faculties.

He clearly didn't expect to share the evening with such an interesting and fun person. The two of you certainly met your match with the other, in terms of rambling that is, but it didn't take long to find a good rhythm of conversation that kept you engaged all night. Before you knew it, the restaurant was closing and your date already at an end.

Tech will leave it up to you whether you wish to see him again, mainly because he's never really done this blind date thing before so he's not sure how it works. He hopes you'll reach out, whether it's just to talk, or to start something else. He'll be content in your company either way.
