THE 6TEEN ENDLESS REVIVAL CHALLENGE

With 6teen's 20th Anniversary coming up, I thought it would be a good opportunity to try and encourage a little fandom revival. As a fan since the show originally premiered, I hold a lot of affection for the series and have grown up with it. I suspect I'm not the only one out there who remembers the show fondly and wishes there was more activity in the fandom, especially when it comes to new fanworks. I'm hoping this might be a small way to move the needle a little, even if it might take a while to get going.

For me, I've always found prompts and prompt-based fandom week/months/challenges to be really inspiring. It's nice to create something new for a purpose or goal, and to have your stuff be a part of a collective fandom experience. If you've been wanting to get back into it, or thinking about writing for the first time, this could be a good low-stakes way to tip your toes into it!

Three separate prompt lists will be provided: a fandom specific one, a general vibes/themes one and an NSFW one intended for original/older fans. Each list comprises of 12 prompts (with four bonus alternatives for 6teen prompts each). You could commit to one specific list one year, another the next, only do a couple, or you can mix and match between lists, combine various prompts, pick and choose only which ones speak to you—whatever unique playlist you like, really. Ideally, these 36+ prompts can be combined and curated in endless ways, providing potential story ideas for years.

Realistically, I know I am probably the only one who is going to participate, lol. But in the off chance this actually gets something started, additional prompt lists may be added in future years as well.

This collection/challenge as the name implies will always be ongoing/open for participants! Fan artists are also welcome to participate using any of the prompts. Be sure to tag any works for the challenge with #6teenEndlessRevival

the moon has just set for the day when cassidy arrives at home. the full moon still humming in her blood, and the blood is clinging to her fur. shaking off any dried leaves and dirt in a few smooth movements cassidy is human once more. running her tongue over her teeth she spits out a piece of hair (from who or what she doesn’t remember) before stepping in through the back door.

tracking blood into the house, cassidy moves to brush her teeth. something had left a very bad taste and the werewolf wanted it gone before she showered and dressed (or crawled into bed as is, she’s yet to decide). spitting out a mix of toothpaste, saliva, and what she thinks could have been a skunk, cassidy rinses her mouth with water before turning to the person that just appeared in the door.

Was looking at refs and since Viktor has two different leg braces I was wondering, do we think he wears them simultaneously?? The refs don't perfectly line up perspective-wise so it's hard to tell but parts of the one he wears during the Hexcore scenes look like they could maybe line up with the brace that he wears over his clothes, but also some parts really don't and look like they'd be super uncomfy. Also HOW does he take these on and off. Experts weigh in

I love a fic where Steve is hiding that he's an Omega, but I also think it would be incredibly funny if he wasn't trying to hide it at all and everyone just assumes he's an Alpha for no reason.

He presents and has a party like he always planned. He invites all his friends and he kind of expects them to be dicks about it but they just...aren't. They celebrate and put him on their shoulders and parade around and Steve doesn't even realize that they don't know.

He only realizes everyone thinks he's an Alpha when Tommy tries to set him up with a nice Omega girl two weeks later. It's not completely unheard of for someone to date someone of the same primary or secondary gender - or both - but it's definitely not the kind of thing Tommy would endorse.

Steve kind of gets it, he's got a warm sandalwood-heavy scent and he's tall and built out from sports, but he's kind of offended. He likes being an Omega and is actually really excited to have a mate and kids of his own that he can carry himself someday. He's been working on perfecting his nesting skills in case any Alphas or Betas, maybe even another Omega, ask to court soon. He wants to have a perfect nest to show them, but it's looking like that won't be happening until he gets out of Hawkins.

He tries a couple of times to tell the guys he's actually an Omega, but everyone just brushes him off, laughs at his dumb joke, and moves on. He figures that they'll notice when he doesn't try to court any Omegas, but enough of them spread rumors about getting with King Steve that he's always too slow to refute that everyone thinks he's some hotshot Alpha sleeping around without courting first.

If only he looked up to notice how hard local Freak Alpha, Eddie Munson, has been staring at him since he presented.

I finished DS9 and here's my first offering to the fandom.

The show is just SO GOOD!! I wanna talk about it so bad, so I will spam the tags quite a bit... My bad. Also, the people who said Bashir would get better - you were right, he became a lot more fun! Plus he's got a teddy bear, that's peak character right there.

Imo the best ending to Supernatural would have been to just stop with them alive on a random hunt or them finding jobs and living the life they just wanted or whatever.

And then the story just fucking STOP, because Chuck is not here anymore, so they are no longer part of a story they are finally free. And we could still write and read fanfic about how they live after they won.
