Anyone else have a sensory hell zone?

I live in the part of the US that has WaWas (wawa is a large gas station with sandwich and hot food making capabilities.)

They are like evil Faustian 7-11s Everyone in there is only thinking of themselves. It is somehow always full of people who will yell across the store to eachother, talk loud on speaker phone, force you to get out of their way because they walk at you like you aren't there, and stand too fucking close to you in line.

The 2 cash registers are on roundabouts so the line direction goes in opposing sides to each register. So sometimes, because you can't see if just one is openwhen you first get in line, you get to the checkout only to be cut off by someone coming from the other direction because the single cashier is taking people from both lines.

The drink cooler aisle can only accommodate one person at at a time. Do people wait for a turn? No, see above: they walk at you like you aren't there.

The parking lot is full of the same self important people so it's 10x more dangerous. (I don't drive and I've been in more than one fender bender in a wawa parking lot caused by someone not looking)

It's also full of panhandlers and while I normally don't care about that, it's always roulette because sometimes the panhandlers yell and cuss at you.

The worst part: they have the best egg sandwiches. So I can't just avoid wawa entirely. The egg sandwiches are so good that I'll go into hell gas station to get them

I know this is not just me because I every time I joke that wawa has a "leave brain here" sign next to the parking lot everyone is suddenly like "yeah why are people suddenly stupid at Wawa"

Orn said this: the humans in Wawa are often tired and hungry humans and usually a stupid human is just a tired and hungry one. Inconvenient in groups though it seems.

Open when the distance seems too much

I’ve said this a billion times, but I love you. This distance SUCKS. No doubt, it isn’t ideal for a new and growing relationship. It’s hard to hold onto something 3,000 miles away. 1 day and 12 hours from each other. It’s hard not being able to kiss you whenever I want and hold you at the end of the day. I wake up wishing I was in your arms. I pray that we are doing what’s best and I truly believe that we are. I think that we are meant to be in each other’s lives and be each other’s support systems. I’m constantly reminded that this is the right thing. The way my stomach gets butterflies when you compliment me and the way my eyes light up when I see “Car” pop up on my phone. I still feel like I did when we were first texting each other and I simply enjoyed getting to know you. I still want to. I want to know your goals and dreams and what your favorite foods are and how you like to spend your rainy days. Even though we’re at a point where we can’t make memories together in person, the day is coming soon. Everyday we’re one step closer to being in each other’s arms. We can hold each other and kiss and make love. We can hold hands and kiss in front of everyone and be super PDAish. You can grab my ass and pull me onto your lap.It’s worth it. WE are worth it. You, Carter Grimm, are worth it to me. Worth the missing and the phone calls and the constant feeling of just wanting to be with each other. I love being your girl. Just knowing I’m your girl makes me the happiest girl in the world. I’m so sure about you. 100%. I love what we have and what we share together. Headcanon time Kotal Krew edition.

(This is a headcanon post for the group dynamic. individual headcanons will come soon) (This is Also set before d’vorah saw the blood code and betrayed the group)

Kotal Kahn is the team dad and everyone knows it. They have all tried to sneak out without his knowledge but he already knew and just let them have alone time.

They are all protective of Ferra even d’vorah though she refuses to admit it to this day. Ferra says she wants them to stop but she honestly is touched by it.

Erron and reptile have accuracy competitions with their guns and acid respectively (syzoth is mainly dragged there)

Ermac sometimes takes Ferra/Torr out for what Ferra calls ‘c’lect now” Torr comes along because there’s a chance he gets to crush someone and to keep Ferra out of bushes. (He made that mistake last time)

D’vorah had a unique relationship with everyone else before the blood code incident. She and Kotal confided in one another, Ermac and Her have conversations about being a collective, Erron makes threats to her, Reptile minds his business and She feels a strange motherly instinct for Ferra.

The sleep schedule goes like this:

Kotal: stays up the latest to make sure everyone else is asleep (11:00) wakes up the earliest in because of Emperor duties (and breakfast)

D’vorah: makes sure the children that are able to move around are asleep (10:30) wakes up the second earliest because of being Kotals first minister.

Ermac: turns out having tens of thousands of souls inside of you makes sleeping difficult So they normally agree to knock themselves out.(9:59) normally wakes up at dawn and meditates until someone needs them.

Syzoth: keeps his eyes openwhen he sleeps making it ambiguous whether or not he’s sleeping He occasionally turns invisible and this is a treat for anyone watching. (9:30) after he wakes up he hunts for Rats and other outworld vermin.

Erron: He doesn’t sleep he just power naps for two hours and then just stands up with his gun pointed at his door. One time a guard tried to go in to grab something and he got shot in the head and chest.

Ferra/Torr: Ferra gets tired the fastest by being a child and doing crazy things and Torr normally carries her up to their room if she falls asleep in the middle of something. (7:37) Ferra is normally held by Torr because he is big and warm. Ferra used to wet the bed but no one knows except for her and Torr.

In short I miss the kotal krew. (Also Ermac and Syzoth are fine they’re just guarding the palace and babysitting Ferra/Torr)
