I thought to make my first Bleach post back one commemorating the third cour, but, nah, I’ve decided I wanna spend more time on that, so it’ll be after my art break instead. It seems I can’t stay active on Tumblr through a full cour… First two, I’m initially inactive. This one, I become inactive, like, halfway in… I swear, if this happens next cour… It’s my last chance 🫠

he do you know how to pose your characters? i struggle with that :(

The real answer to your problem is: find references. Using references will definitely help you learn how to pose the characters and will also help you with anatomy. Also boxes and circles.

Me, personally, I just freestyle it most of the time because I like listening to music or long video essays on YouTube.

Here, I tried to take a little video of the 'process'

After I'm done with the 'main sketch' I add details and correct the pose if necessary (usually arms//hands/legs/head etc. Basically everything that isn't the torso) to make the character fit more within the scene or the vibe I'm going for.
