The Players Of The Last Game Of The Marvellous
So last summer I did a lineup drawing of The Light Fingers crew, so i thought it'd be fun to do another lineup this year.
This time i tackled the main characters from Heart's Desire, including my own PC in order to not have the poor monkey tiny on the ground next to everyone

Okay I did get distracted by a grade being posted and I am about to be both a nerd and a millennial but god ngl I do hate classes where you get full points on all your assignments but don't actually get any actual feedback on them. What is the point. If it's a class where everyone gets passing grades for making the effort but you get actual feedback and comments, that's great! But I would genuinely rather get points docked and get extensive comments on what I did well and what needed improvement and why than this.

Omos - The North / Pelvis
Prota: a sprawling coastal city to the east, home to the royal family and capital of omos
The Burrows: one of the oldest towns on the continent, located in the heart of the deserts where it gets so hot that the live underground, it’s said that this is where the first dragon was born and where rawetua is at his strongest
The Blossom Lounge: a cathouse/brothel in Prota, currently owned and managed by Ahria’s mother Rhea
Miednic - The West / Shoulder
Kova: a mountain city and the capital of miednic, as well as the home of the royal family
Lhyr: Moriellé’s neighbouring town. The two were once one but when the splintering occurred the Lavore’s were too stubborn to move and decided to just split the town between them.
Espra: The town immediately opposite of the Mahina Woods, on the northern side of the Spine; a very odd place.
Rawetua’s Gate: twin mountains with a narrow valley between them. During a specific time of the year, the sun rises directly between inspiring the Dawn’s Day festival. Miednicians use this time to predict the fortune for the coming year.
Korahi’s Tomb: a long dormant volcano near the border of Miednic, used to imprison a dragon.
Northern Shore: an independent state governed by the selkies who are native to the area.
Salt Flats: located on the northern shore, they’re a main source of trade and income.
Nevmones - The South / Ribs
Vinés: the capital city, though not home to the royal family it is home of the best university on the continent!
Moriellé: home of the ancestral Lavore Estate and Atlas’s hometown.
The Bleeding Valley: marking the border between Nevmones and Omos, the bleeding valley is a valley full of poppies that stretches long enough to be worth several days of travelling. It’s a very spooky and superstitious place.
Bruasse: a small fishing village in the far south that sits on the border with Kauae and acts as the singular trading partner of Arlet.
Kauae - The East / Jaw
Taiua’s Teeth: a sprawling archipelago trailing up the east coast. It has floating islands!
Slova’s Forest: a large reef located under one of the lower hanging islands, that is briefly traversable once or twice a year. Slova’s Forest appearing close to the Whale Migration is generally seen as a good sign.
Siren’s Path: a specific channel that sirens use for travelling to the singing cliffs. It’s dangerous at any point in the year, but becomes a death wish to travel down during or after the breeding seasons.
End of The World - The Nothing
Mahina Woods: an ancient stretch of eldritch forest, home to a warrior race known as the Makai.
Arlet: Keika’s home town, which isn’t shown on any map bc it shouldn’t exist.
Singing Cliffs: a towering cove, where sirens bring their young to practise their Song.

Fuck Sweden as a nation for turning the woobification of our history and culture into one of our greatest exports, pretending to be wholesome and peaceful while profiting from conflicts elsewhere. For never having the fucking spine to take any stance ever and acting high and mighty for being "neutral", all while frothing at the mouth to get a piece of that colonial cake from the cool kids table where the superpowers are seated. For recognizing Palestine's sovereignty only to then consider a withdrawal of said recognition in response to the current genocide. For allowing islamophobia to get to the point it is now and then pointing fingers at jews as a whole. For giving less of a flying fuck about swedish jews during WW2 and until now, yet patting ourselves on the back and taking credit for heroic deeds done primarily by individuals.
I wish nothing but absolute hell and misery for Ulf Kristersson, who is even more spineless about his inaction than I thought possible. Who had nothing to say about the burnings of the torah and quran, only to claim that he stands for fighting antisemitism. Who puffed up his chest and was acting so tough about the things he would do once he became prime minister, only to hold up on none of his lofty promises in true conservative fashion. Both he and his lackeys (as well as their fanclubs of raging screaming bigots) deserve nothing but hurt and hell for continuing to destroy the lives of all marginalized groups in Sweden, all while shamelessly increasing their own salaries blatantly in the open, to then have the sheer and utter gut to declare that actively supporting genocide is within our best interests.
This country's audacity is one that only became possible because we sacrificed our neighbours safety for the sake of maintaining our own, because when your most recent war was in 1809 it's apparently not possible to even try and comprehend the horrors of modern warfare. That is, besides producing the tools for it to happen elsewhere.

finally getting my ass up to note down the last thirty episodes i basically binged without ever opening my notebook and wow mag181 really was a rest. for them. for me. for me now that, for one single episode, i can fall back into the shape of the first 160 episodes i noted down. like i've been doing this specific format for so long, even after 20 apocalypse statements that still felt wrong, a constant reminder of how horrid everything is. but not now. not for this episode. not for this one episode. surrounded by wrongness for a second i can pretend it's fine

Hi Mr. Elias. I'm a writer, albeit an amateur one, and I wanted to ask about a topic because I'm seeking help with writing a story about a character who kills for a living. Are there any available sources/articles/books you could reccoment that would help me better understand the psychology behind someone who murders for profit? Things such as, how would commiting such acts negatively affect how they interact with people/function in their day-to-day life? I know this is most likely a surface-level obvious answer but I thought I'd still give asking about it a shot. I'm sure there are plenty sources I myself could find, but you're so knowledgeable about things such as violence and psychology that I felt it'd be best to consult someone who could point me in the right direction. Excuse my babbling, and thank you if you answer my ask :)
gonna be honest assassins are just not something ive read up on whatsoever. i know the word comes from the persian hashashin, but if i talked about it id be basing all my knowledge on what little reading i did in my assassin's creed phase lol
how continually killing other people might affect someone in the long term - no fucking clue, but i'd personally start out reading up on desensitization, dehumanization, and depending on what kinda vibe you're going for with your story, maybe something on perpetrator trauma, as well as the psychology of authority á la the milgram experiment. really when it comes to stuff like this, ive found every aspect of it is a rabbit hole that keeps going deeper and deeper the more you start digging

So bestie what are your thoughts on ahsoka 👀
okay hi! so my thoughts on the series are still a little all over the place, but they have definitely settled at least a little bit since tuesday night. originally, i was super upset about certain things (see this post), and since i'm dramatic, i was letting the negatives cloud my judgement pretty badly.
however, i rewatched it the next day with brother (who fell asleep the previous night halfway through lol), and i started to make a list of rebels details or references that made me happy (potential gifset idea i'm working on too if i can download the episodes), and i realized that while yes certain things/changes are frustrating, it's amazing to even see these characters in live action leading a show. there are so many good things from live action lothal to huyang to the actual plan in motion to find ezra that i'm definitely giving it a chance. i still need some more time to truly adjust to mary as hera, and i hope rosario is a bit more emotive? (not quite sure how to phrase it) with ahsoka in the future episodes, but i'm definitely super excited for what's the come!! and i'm actually very happy with how natasha has captured the essence of sabine, despite the whole padawan/apprentice thing seemingly being pretty central to her character in the series
plus like i literally can't be mad considering the amount of times they said ezra's name over the two episodes. now i just need to see him in live action for real and i will be content <3

I'm locked in an idealogical battle with the sun. It is very one sided, that's part of what it's about.
the sun basically represents a sort of "Ideal". The Peak. An Absolute Truth. as things Should Be, including yourself. Without you having any say in it.
To be As The Sun is to not be Yourself.
To stare at the The Sun is to see as things Are. The sun's light strips all off any pretense, of any self-determination and identity. Its soverignity stands unchallenged as our world revolves around it.
In a very abstract sense, it keeps me from creating my own reality. and i dont fuck with that.
Sorry for infodumping about my special interest out of nowhere, you said a keyword and it activated my unskippable dialogue
